Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam pengalaman anak mengenai overprotective dan menggali permasalahan anak ketika mendapat aturan yang berlebihan dari orang tua. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan yaitu kualitatif fenomenalogi dengan melakukan wawancara. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dikarenakan peneliti sudah memiliki karakteristik untuk partisipan sehingga peneliti mencari partisipan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik tersebut. Karakteristik yang dipilih adalah anak yang berusia antara 11-25 tahun, yang masih memiliki keluarga lengkap, memiliki aturan ketat dalam keluarga, dan tinggal dengan keluarga inti (tidak tinggal dengan kakek, nenek, saudara dll. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan empat tema mengenai pengalaman overprotective yang dilakukan orang tua dalam perspektif anak, tema tersebut ialah pandangan anak mengenai overprotective, keinginan orang tua terhadap anak, bentuk perilaku overprotective orang tua, dan dampak overprotective pada anak. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pandangan anak terhadap overprotective berlebihan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua membawa pengaruh perilaku positif dan negatif, tetapi lebih dominan memberikan efek negatif bagi kehidupan anak. Penelitian Ini memberikan Informasi kepada masyarakat khususnya kepada orang tua bahwa perilaku overprotective bisa memberikan dampak buruk bagi anak. Hal Ini bisa menjadi pertimbangan bagaimana peran keluarga khususnya orang tua dalam bersikap ketika berhadapan dengan anak.   Abstract The purpose of this research was conducted to find out more about children's experiences regarding over-protectiveness and explore children's problems when they get excessive rules from their parents. The research method used is qualitative phenomenalogy by conducting interviews. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling because researchers already had characteristics for participants, so researchers looked for participants who matched these characteristics. The characteristics selected are children aged between 11-25 years, who still have a complete family, have strict family rules, and live with a nuclear family (don't live with grandparents, siblings etc. The results of this study provide four themes regarding over-the-counter experiences). protective behavior carried out by parents from the child's perspective, the theme is the child's view of overprotectiveness, the desire of parents for children, forms of parental overprotective behavior, and the impact of overprotectiveness on children from this study it can be concluded that children's views on overprotectiveness carried out by parents brings positive and negative behavioral influences, but more dominantly has a negative effect on children's lives. This research provides information to the public, especially to parents, that overprotective behavior can have a bad impact on children. This can be a consideration of how the role family, especially parents, in their behavior when dealing with children.

Abstract

Fathers have an important role in the family, in addition toearning a living, fathers must also provide good parentingto their children, especially women. However, if this role islacking or even absent, it will have a psychological impacton the development and growth of children. Fatherless orlack of father's role in the child's life can be in the form ofphysical, psychological, and emotional absence. Thepurpose of this study is to determine the psychologicalimpact experienced by women in early adulthood whoexperience fatherlessness. This research usesphenomenological qualitative methods. The participantswere two people aged 20 and 21 years, early adult women,and experienced fatherlessness such as divorce andinfidelity. Data were collected using semi-structuredinterviews, then analyzed using thematic analysis method.The results of this study found four main themes, namely 1)worry about the future, 2) the psychological impact offatherless, 3) affecting self-esteem, 4) seeking the support ofothers. Fatherless has a significant psychological impact onparticipants. It can be concluded that the role of father isneeded for early adult women to provide direction, as a rolemodel, increase self-confidence, and build good self-esteem.

Abstract

Technological developments have changed habits in watching television, it rise up to the phenomenon of binge watching which is watching several episodes of a series at once. Television which previously could only be accessed offline, nowadays can be accessed online via Video on Demand (VoD) services. Most VoD service users are generation Z and are likely to be affected by Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) namely the fear of losing information about a series or film that is being discussed by other people. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between binge watching video on demand and FoMO in generation Z. This research uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were 280 respondents with an age range of 29-21 years and came from various provinces in Indonesia. Data collection in this study used the adaptation measuring tools Binge-Watching Engagement and Symptoms Questionnaire (BWESQ) and Fear of Missing Out Scale (FoMOS). Data analysis using Pearson Correlation shows a significant value of p=0.0010.05 with a correlation (r) of 0.456 which shows that there is a significant relationship between Binge Watching and FoMO.Perkembangan teknologi mengubah kebiasaan dalam menonton televisi sehingga memunculkan fenomena binge watching yaitu menonton beberapa episode serial sekaligus. Televisi yang dulunya hanya dapat diakses secara offline, kini dapat diakses secara online melalui layanan Video on Demand (VoD). Sebagian besar pengguna layanan VoD adalah generasi Z dan berkemungkinan terdampak Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) yaitu takut kehilangan informasi mengenai serial atau film yang sedang didiskusikan oleh orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan binge watching video on demand dengan FoMO pada generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 280 responden dengan rentang usia 29-21 tahun dan berasal dari berbagai provinsi di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur adaptasi Binge-Watching Engagement and Symptoms Questionnaire (BWESQ) dan Fear of Missing Out Scale (FoMOS). Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p=0,0010,05 dengan korelasi (r) 0,456 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara binge watching dan FoMO.
