Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge of parents and children regarding the use of smartphones in the teaching and learning process at Srambi Paud Center Purwokerto. The counseling sessions were conducted to assist parents in supervising their children's smartphone usage in their daily activities. The training took place in the auditorium of Srambi Paud Center Purwokerto and successfully improved the understanding of both parents and children regarding smartphone usage in general, as well as providing an understanding of the positive and negative effects that may arise from smartphone use. The participants also successfully applied the outcomes of the counseling sessions by seeking and utilizing more diverse and attention-grabbing learning media through smartphones. Additionally, this activity successfully enhanced the motivation of teachers to create engaging teaching materials by utilizing technology, thus facilitating the delivery of lessons to the children. During the counseling practice, participants were tasked with finding learning media through smartphones and creating teaching materials for subjects frequently taught by each teacher. The results of the practice showed that 95% of the teachers were able to create learning media for the children. Therefore, this activity succeeded in improving the knowledge of parents and children regarding smartphone usage and provided significant benefits for learning at Srambi Paud Center Purwokerto

Abstract

The community service activity aims to delve into the concept of footprinting and reconnaissance in cybersecurity focusing on students at SMK Telkom Purwokerto. Guided by lecturers and students, the activity aims to enhance participants' understanding of vital early information analysis and gathering techniques in the realm of cybersecurity. Implementation methods include online learning and direct practical sessions in the classroom, enabling participants to implement these concepts. The training benefits encompass an improved understanding of system security threats, the development of technical analysis skills, and the ability to implement better protective measures. The results demonstrate active participation and an enhanced understanding of the importance of footprinting and reconnaissance in managing information security risks among the participants. There was a 90% increase in awareness after the participants underwent the training, indicating a positive impact of this activity on students' comprehension of information security. Therefore, this activity not only supports the tridharma of higher education but also strengthens the relationship between the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology and the community in enhancing local cybersecurity.

Abstract

Stunting and anemia in adolescent girls are major health issues in Indonesia, including in Sawangan Village Banyumas Regency. This research aims to implement stunting prevention strategies through the management of anemia in adolescent girls in Sawangan Village and to increase community awareness and knowledge about the importance of early prevention of stunting and anemia. The method is a participatory approach involving adolescent girls and local health workers. This activity includes socialization and training on stunting and anemia prevention, using hemoglobin check tools, and the provision of Blood Addition Tablets (TTD). In addition, an anemia monitoring system based on information technology is also implemented to monitor the condition of hemoglobin in adolescent girls regularly and structured. The results of this activity show an increase in community awareness and knowledge about the importance of preventing stunting and anemia, as well as an increase in monitoring and handling of these conditions. In addition, implementing an anemia monitoring system based on information technology has facilitated the regular and structured monitoring of hemoglobin conditions in adolescent girls. The contribution of this research is to achieve the target of Stunting Free Indonesia in 2030. With the implementation of stunting prevention strategies through the management of anemia in adolescent girls, this research contributes to improving the health and welfare of the community in Sawangan Village and supporting government efforts in achieving these goals.”
