Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out meaning of the Bujang Ganong mask series mural by Youngsurakarta using Erwin Panofski's iconological theory and iconography approach in order to get a deeper meaning of the mural work. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with collection data technique by deep interviewing Youngsurakarta. The purposive sampling is to do research of murals made by Youngsurakarta with the Bujang Ganong mask series. This research finds that the characters made by Youngsurakarta is the reflection from “Young Surakarta” name which has meaning young man from Surakarta who has expressive and brave characters, represented through characters inspired by Bujang Ganong mask as one of his work characteristics. Bujang Ganong is one of Reog performances which is always awaited by the audience because of its characteristics which are energetic and funny. It can be concluded that Youngsurakarta understands that mural is just not only aesthetics elements but it is more than that. Murals made by Youngsurakarta gives young optimism which is energetic, passionate spirit. In his mural works, Youngsurakarta always slips local cultural elements, responding social cultural issues in kampong local community.

Abstract

Persoalan tentang gaya hidup sehat di Indonesia terus berkembang dan menyebabkan masyarakat menerapkan gaya hidup organik yang juga mempengaruhi perkembangan pertanian organik di Indonesia. Probiotik mulai digunakan sebagai teknologi penyeimbang lingkungan hidup dimana bahan makanan organik ditanam dan dipelihara. Miracle Green Probiotik Organik merupakan salah satu brand yang menawarkan formula probiotik organik di Purwokerto. Melalui data kualitatif yang diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara dapat disimpulkan bahwa Miracle Green Probiotik Organik kurang dikenali masyarakat di kota Purwokerto baik dalam bidang pertanian, hobi bercocok tanam serta masyarakat umum. Perancangan ini dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dengan pemilik Miracle Green Probiotik Organik dan melakukan observasi pada rumah produksi untuk menggali brand, studi literatur untuk mendalami visual identity, serta melakukan analisis SWOT, analisis logo Miracle Green Probiotik Organik, analisis kompetitor, menentukan USP dan positioning. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian diolah untuk melakukan re-design logo dan membuat visual identity yang menarik, konsisten serta memberikan karakteristik bagi Miracle Green Probiotik Organik. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan merancang logo yang merepresentasikan elemen-elemen dari Miracle Green Probiotik Organik, menggunakan warna-warna natural dan berasosiasi dengan alam. Brand guidelines dibuat untuk menjaga konsistensi dalam penggunaan visual identity baik untuk keperluan kantor maupun promosi. Hasil dari perancangan re-design visual identity ini adalah brand guidelines, stationery berupa: kartu nama, amplop, kop surat, dan nota pembayaran, label kemasan, desain Facebook Ads, serta membuat merchandise berupa topi berkebun dan sarung tangan.

Abstract

Akar Wijaya is a creative industry with superior products in the form of artisan sculptures made from teak roots. In the marketing sector, Akar Wijaya's unpreparedness in utilizing digital technology for marketing and sales means that Akar Wijaya's exposure could be a lot higher. The inability to meet all demand in the production sector is also caused by the extended production time, namely 5-7 days per craft. Therefore, this program aims to increase Akar Wijaya's turnover by solving two main priority problems: implementing digitalization in the branding and marketing process and production efficiency by cutting machine technology to reduce production time. At the end of the program, UMKM Akar Wijaya had a visual identity in the form of a logo, which was then applied to the website to improve branding. In addition, digital branding training was carried out, which significantly increased participants' understanding. Implementation of production technology has the impact of reducing production time by up to 50%.

Abstract

Stunting and anemia in adolescent girls are major health issues in Indonesia, including in Sawangan Village Banyumas Regency. This research aims to implement stunting prevention strategies through the management of anemia in adolescent girls in Sawangan Village and to increase community awareness and knowledge about the importance of early prevention of stunting and anemia. The method is a participatory approach involving adolescent girls and local health workers. This activity includes socialization and training on stunting and anemia prevention, using hemoglobin check tools, and the provision of Blood Addition Tablets (TTD). In addition, an anemia monitoring system based on information technology is also implemented to monitor the condition of hemoglobin in adolescent girls regularly and structured. The results of this activity show an increase in community awareness and knowledge about the importance of preventing stunting and anemia, as well as an increase in monitoring and handling of these conditions. In addition, implementing an anemia monitoring system based on information technology has facilitated the regular and structured monitoring of hemoglobin conditions in adolescent girls. The contribution of this research is to achieve the target of Stunting Free Indonesia in 2030. With the implementation of stunting prevention strategies through the management of anemia in adolescent girls, this research contributes to improving the health and welfare of the community in Sawangan Village and supporting government efforts in achieving these goals.”

Abstract

Produk unggulan desa juga memiliki potensi untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan, penguatan identitas daerah, dan mendukung sustainable development. Pada umumnya,produk unggulan desa diproduksi dengan cara-cara tradisional, namun proses-proses tradisional mempengaruhi terjadinya keterbatasan hasil produksi, minimnya kualitas, dan minimnya perkembangan pola pikir masyarakat terkait implementasi teknologi pada proses produksi. Salah satunya pada produksi dage di Desa Ciberung, Kecamatan Ajibarang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, pada proses produksi tradisional yang dilakukan masyarakat untuk memproduksi dage seringkali mengakibatkan kegagalan. Sehingga suatu modul IOT yang terintegrasi dengan dashboard Antares dibuat untuk melakukan pemantauan suhu dan kelembaban udara secara aktual. Berdasarkan alat yang dibuat didapatkan bahwa suhu aktual saat proses fermentasi ada pada rentang 27oC – 28,5oC dan kelembaban udara pada rentang 81,9% – 83,3%, suhu dan kelembaban udara tersebut masih dalam batas aman untuk proses fermentasi produk dage. Pada program ini, masyarakat juga mendapatkan edukasi terkait teknologi IOT pada proses produksi UMKM.

Abstract

Mekarsari is a group of dage craftsmen in Ciberung Village, Ajibarang District, Banyumas Regency. Dage itself is a superior product from Ciberung Village which is part of the One Village One Product (OVOP) program. However, Mekarsari's dage product is currently facing a major problem, namely low selling price. This problem is influenced by several factors, including the product's lesser-known image and traditional marketing techniques. To overcome these problems, community service activities are carried out that focus on creating a visual identity for Mekarsari dage, including logo design, which is expected to improve the image of Mekarsari dage products in the eyes of consumers. With a strong and attractive visual identity, Mekarsari dage products are expected to increase their selling value. This activity involves active participation from the Mekarsari Dage craftsmen group, to ensure that the designed visual identity is in accordance with local characteristics and values. The result of this service is the creation of a visual identity that is able to improve the product image. So as to have a positive impact on the local economy.

Abstract

Video pendek animasi dengan judul Sepi merupakan video animasi produksi Manimonki Studio asal kota Solo. Video pendek animasi ini berhasil mendapatkan penghargaan kategori Gold Winner pada ajang penghargaan South East Asia Cre∞tive, yang diselenggarakan oleh MDEC. MDEC sendiri merupakan lembaga dibawah naungan Kementrian Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia yang memiliki tugas mengembangkan industri konten digital. Video animasi yang berdurasi 1 menit 40 detik ini diproduksi pada tahun 2020 sebagai video ucapan Hari Raya Idul Fitri 2020. Alur cerita yang dinilai relate dengan kondisi pandemi, membuat video pendek animasi Sepi berhasil mendapatkan penghargaan Gold Winner. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, bertujuan untuk menganalisis kode-kode visual yang terdapat dalam video pendek animasi Sepi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan studi pustaka. Teori yang digunakan sebagai analisis adalah kode semiotika Roland Barthes terhadap animasi benda dan adegan yang menggambarkan tokoh utama pada video pendek animasi Sepi merupakan penyandang tuli. Penyandang tuli sendiri menjadi ide utama dari pembuatan animasi ini, yang tidak dinarasikan secara lugas namun menjadi kunci cerita.

Abstract

Penggunaan infografis banyak dilakukan dalam menyajikan informasi dalam bentuk visual, sehingga audiens dapat lebih memahami informasi yang disajikan. Infografis umumnya digunakan pada media poster untuk mempermudah penggambaran informasi. Namun belum banyak buku, khususnya buku untuk anak, yang menyajikan infografis di dalamnya sebagai kombinasi media penyampai pesan. Penelitian ini menjabarkan penggunaan media infografis pada Buku Why? World History Seri Country Greece yang diterbitkan di Indonesia oleh PT. Elex Media Komputindo, sebagai salah satu media penyampaian pesan tentang edukasi sejarah negara Yunani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kecenderungan konten yang digunakan pada buku tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data kajian pustaka dan dokumentasi objek dalam bentuk foto. Hasil penelitian ini adalah buku Why? Seri Country Greece menggunakan infografis secara konsisten dalam menyampaikan informasi yang kompleks mengenai sejarah Yunani. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan infografis sebagai kombinasi media komunikasi visual dapat menambah daya tarik untuk menyampaikan informasi edukasi sejarah Yunani.

Abstract

Melati MSME is located in Kedungbenda Village, Purbalingga and faces several challenges in improving the quality and quantity of production and expanding market share. This is due to the need for digital literacy and UMKM Melati's ability to utilize production technology to support daily business. Therefore, this community service aims to encourage an increase in the economic independence of Melati MSMEs through the implementation of production technology and digital media. This program is carried out in several stages, starting from socialization, application of technology and innovation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The production technology used is a cutting machine, spinner, and sealer to increase efficiency and product consistency. In addition, digital literacy was also improved through training on the use of social media and e-commerce for marketing, as well as the development of a visual identity in the form of a logo as a branding strategy. The results show an increase in the quality and quantity of Melati MSME production, as well as ease of market access using digital media. The program performance assessment showed significant success, with an average achievement of 95.71%. The increased ability of MSME members to use digital production and marketing technology contributed to the increase in turnover and production time efficiency. The program evaluation showed a high level of participant satisfaction, especially in terms of the benefits provided by this service activity. Through this program, Melati MSMEs can continue to develop and be economically independent by optimizing production technology and more effective digital marketing strategies.
