Abstract

The waste vegetables ration the effect to the performance production have been done in cage experiment of Poultry Production Farm in Agriculture Studi Programs Khairun University, Ternate, Maluku Utara. An exsperiment using laying ducks padjadjaran age 46 weeks as 64 ducks. The research used to Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications of, R0 (100% control rations); R1 (5% waste vegetables + 95% control rations); R2 (10% waste vegetables + 90% control rations); and R3 (15% waste vegetables + 85% control rations); and to see the effect of trend pattern of each treatment was done by orthogonal polynomial test. The results (1). Egg production average is R0 (63,04%); R1 (65,37%); R2 (69,79%) and R3 (70,57%) was significantly different (P<0.05); (2). Rations of consumption is R0 (154.36 gram); R1 (153.66 gram); R2 (151.48); and R3 (150.60 gram) was significantly different (P<0.05) between treatment of R0, R2 and R3; (3) Feed conversion rations is R0 (3.46); R1 (3.35); R2 (3.08) and R3 (3.03) was significantly different (P<0.05) R0, R2 and R3, but not significantly different between treatment of R2 and R3 (P>0,05). The use of waste vegetables ration up to 15% in laying ducks rations real increased egg production, improve consumption and feed conversion rations.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh enzim fitase dan vitamin D3pada ransum ayam broiler terhadap efisiensi penggunaan fosfor (P) dengan cara mengukur residu fosfor (P) ekskreta. Ternak yang digunakan yaitu ayam broiler strain Lohmann sejumlah 126 ekor dengan lama penelitian 6 minggu. Perlakuan yang digunakan terdiri atas 7 perlakuan yaitu: R0 (pakan kontrol); R1 (500 FTU/ kg pakan); R2 (1000 FTU/ kg pakan); R3 (1500 FTU/ kg pakan); R4 (100 IU Vit D3/ kg pakan); R5 (200 IU Vit D3/ kg pakan); R6 (300 IU Vit D3/ kg pakan) dengan kandungan protein 21% dan energi metabolis (EM) 3000 kkal/kg. Abstract

Fermentation of rice bran for chicken feed at Bangko Campus IV, Bobaigo Madehutu Village is carried out with the aim of training chicken breeders, including free-range, broiler and Bangkok chicken breeders, in providing quality feed that meets nutritional standards for growth, so that they can produce optimal production.The methods used in implementing this activity to achieve the objectives and overcome the problems faced by farmers include training in the cultivation of free-range chickens and broilers and the implementation of vaccinations, training in making fermented bran feed, formulating feed according to the age and needs of the livestock as well as guidance to livestock groups which is carried out on an ongoing basis. , monitoring and evaluation carried out on assisted livestock groups.The results of implementing this service activity are (1) The assisted livestock group has the ability to improve the planning of free-range chicken cultivation business activities; (2) Have the ability to handle the initial arrival of native chicken DOC; (3) Have skills in processing feed through fermentation technology, (4) Have skills in formulating feed ingredients according to livestock needs, and (5) Have skills in carrying out vaccinations

Abstract

Empowerment of poultry farming groups based on broiler chicken cultivation in Lalubi Village, East Gane District was carried out with the aim of meeting community demand for fresh chicken meat. In order to improve the skills of farmers in broiler chicken farming efforts, this activity received a positive response from livestock groups in Lalubi Village. The methods used in broiler chicken farming activities include: handling upon arrival of DOC; implementation of vaccination programs; feed management; and training in commercial ration formulation with fermented rice bran. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out periodically and mentoring is carried out continuously to solve every problem faced by the livestock group. The results of the implementation of this community service activity are: the livestock group has knowledge about broiler chicken cultivation including handling when DOC arrives; brooding management; feed processing with fermentation technology; post-harvest handling and marketing of broiler chicken meat

Abstract

Cultivation of layer chickens carried out by the Kelompok Ternak Unggas Halmahera is carried out with the aim of meeting the needs of the community in meeting the need for animal protein derived from eggs and to increase the business of cultivating laying hens from a production aspect as well as an economic aspect so as to increase the income of livestock groups, especially those in Halmahera Selatan Regency. The methods used in carrying out this activity to achieve the objectives and overcome the problems faced by farmers include training in handling DOC and implementing vaccinations, training in making feed, guidance to livestock groups which is carried out on an ongoing basis, monitoring and evaluation carried out on assisted livestock groups. The results of implementing this service activity are (1) The laying hen livestock group has the ability to improve the planning of its business activities; (2) Have the ability to handle the initial arrival of DOC; (3) The livestock group has been able to make plans for work programs from the Starter to Layer periods; and (4) Ability and skills in implementing disease control
