Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and to make an analogy of the poet's visualization of three different poems with religious genres. The themes raised in the poetry are also different, there are also poems with the theme of people's struggle, the theme of human greed for nature, as well as religious themes whose meaning is often revealed implicitly in poetry. This study uses qualitative research using a comparative literature approach. The data taken in this study are the text of the poem "Sajadah Panjang" by Taufiq Ismail, the poem "Insaf" by Amir Hamzah, and the poem "When You Pray" by Emha Ainun Najib. By using data analysis techniques, namely by way of content analysis techniques. From the results of this study it was found regarding the depiction of Taufiq Ismail, Amir Hamzah, and Emha Ainun Najib on the relationship between humans and God which is built through poetry. The three poems that have been reviewed show some similarities that can be seen upon further examination.

Abstract

Dermatophytosis, the most common fungal infection in humans, significantly impacts quality of life due to its clinical and cosmetic effects. Its high prevalence underscores the need to evaluate patient profiles to improve management strategies.  This study aim is to identify the most prevalent type of dermatophytosis, patient demographics, clinical characteristics, laboratory investigations, and therapy in dermatophytosis into the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of dermatophytosis in a tropical, high-burden region. This descriptive retrospective study used total sampling of medical records of dermatophytosis patients from January 2017 to December 2022.  Tinea corporis and tinea cruris was the most common, while tinea manuum is the least common dermatophytosis. Female adults were the most affected group. Common clinical features for each type included alopecia for tinea capitis, erythematous macules for other types, and nail dystrophy for tinea unguium. Trichophyton mentagrophytes was the commonest pathogen in 2017. Most of the therapies followed Clinical Practice Guidelines with extensive use of griseofulvin and ketoconazole cream. Further research should explore therapeutic outcomes, preventive measures, and factors influencing recurrence and adherence to treatment.

Abstract

The song At My Worst by Pink Sweats carries a deep emotional message about interpersonal relationships, and one of the key elements in the song's lyrics is the use of modal verbs to convey emotional and interpersonal abilities. This study aims to analyze the use of modal verbs can, could, and be able to in the song, as well as to explore the meanings contained within them. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing the song's lyrics as the subject of research. The instrument used is a text analysis to identify modal verbs that indicate ability, and data collection was carried out through documentation of the song's lyrics taken from accessible online sources. The results of the study show that the use of modal ability in this song does not only refer to physical abilities or skills, but also encompasses emotional abilities such as empathy, emotional management, and navigating loving relationships in imperfect conditions. Modal verbs can and could are frequently used to express hope and requests in interpersonal relationships, while be able to is less commonly used but still indicates potential or ability in an emotional context. This study contributes to the understanding of the role of modal ability in song lyrics and how these modal verbs are used to depict emotional dynamics and interpersonal relationships in contemporary music

Abstract

This research was taken from 2019 to 2022 which aims to examine the effect of financial ratios on changes in profits in textile and garment manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. Several types of ratios are used as dependent variables in the analysis of financial indicators such as Quick Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, and Debt to Asset Ratio. Independent variables include Inventory Turnover, Inventory to Sales Ratio, and Net Profit Margin. All businesses in the textile and apparel sector were included in the population of this study. In the study, 15 companies were taken through purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis in this study also show that the independent variables do affect the dependent variable. The t test shows that Quick Ratio, Inventory to Sales, and Net Profit Margin all have a positive and statistically significant relationship with changes in profit. So, it can be concluded that Quick Ratio, Inventory to Sales and Net Profit Margin have a significant effect on changes in profit in manufacturing companies in the textile and garment industry subsector. These results prove that the inventory turnover ratio and the ratio of debt to assets have little impact on changes in profit.
