Abstract

Job satisfaction is essential in the public service sector because satisfaction an employees are the key to providing high quality service, which very important in determining the success of the organization. Theoretically, proactive personality contributes to a higher job satisfaction over time through three essential features, which is that it’s self-initiative, is change-oriented, and a focus on the future. The purpose of this study was to know the impact of proactive personality on employee job satisfaction at the Class IIB Klaten Correctional Insttitution. This study uses quantitative research methods with a non-probability sample technique of 80 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire distributed via google form. There are 47 statements that are used as indicators in this study. The data analysis technique was carried out through descriptive analysis tests, simple linear regression tests, significance tests and determination tests which were processed using IBM SPSS software version 22. The results showed that the independent variable, namely proactive personality, had a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely job satisfaction. with the results of the t arithmetic significance test of 6.342 > t table 1.991. The results of the determination test were obtained with an R square value of 0.34 which indicates that the proactive personality variable has an influence of 34% on the job satisfaction variable, while the remaining 66% is influenced by other variables not described in this study. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between proactive personality and job satisfaction in the Class IIB Klaten Correctional Institution

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of implementing personality development for elderly prisoners in class IIB prison in Klaten, Central Java. The research approach used a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews. Through this research, some information was obtained, such as; The personality development program for the elderly is carried out through religious awareness by strengthening the values of religiosity, self-motivation, and increasing the physical endurance of elderly prisoners. Coaching activities are carried out through counseling and training. Personality coaching is still not running optimally. In conclusion, this activity has a great impact on elderly prisoners but has not been implemented maximally due to limited facilities and infrastructure that cannot be maximally realized by class II penitentiary institutions Klaten, Central Java, not only that, the implementation process has not been maximized due to other factors such as physical and the age of the elderly inmates themselves. The implication of the results of this study is expected to be able to provide improvements from stakeholders who can provide policies so that correctional institutions can provide treatment and guidance to elderly prisoners in the future. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses implementasi pembinaan kepribadian narapidana yang sudah lanjut usia di lapas kelas IIB Klaten, Jawa Tengah. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam. Melalui penelitian ini diperoleh beberapa informasi, seperti; program pembinaan kepribadian lansia yang dilakukan melalui kesadaran beragama dengan penguatan nilai-nilai religiositas, motivasi diri, dan peningkatan ketahanan fisik narapidana lansia. Aktivitas pembinaan dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Pembinaan kepribadian masih belum berlangsung dengan maksimal. Simpulannya, kegiatan ini sangat berdampak untuk narapidana lansia namun belum terimplementasi dengan maksimal dikarenakan keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang belum bisa dapat direalisasikan dengan maksimal oleh institusi lembaga pemasyarakatan kelas II Klaten, Jawa Tengah, tidak hanya itu, belum maksimalnya proses implementasi dikarenakan faktor lainnya seperti fisik dan usia narapidana lansia itu sendiri. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan perbaikan dari para stakeholder yang mampu memberikan kebijakan sehingga lembaga pemasyarakatan dapat memberikan perlakuan dan pembinaan terhadap narapidana yang sudah lanjut usia ke depannya dengan maksimal.

Abstract

This study analyzes the risk-management practices at Nadinda Laundry, a home-based micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) laundry business in Bandung Regency, with the aim of identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and providing risk-treatment strategies to strengthen operational resilience. Using a qualitative exploratory approach through a case study, data were collected from semi-structured interviews with the owner, field observations, and secondary sources such as academic literature and government reports. The identification process revealed 30 risks classified into six categories: market, financial, marketing, operational, human resources, and legal. Risk analysis using a 5×5 likelihood and impact matrix showed high-level risks such as rising electricity prices (level 16), negative online reviews affecting reputation (12), machine breakdowns (12), and power outages (12), along with various medium- and low-level risks. Risk-treatment strategies include operational efficiency improvements, routine maintenance, supplier diversification, employee training, and regulatory compliance. The study concludes that systematic risk-management implementation can minimize risk impacts, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the sustainability of laundry MSMEs amid industry dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management based on the ISO 31000 framework in a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) engaged in the fashion and accessories sector with 100% online sales operations. The business has been operating on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok, and Lazada for approximately five years and faces multiple risks including product defects, return rates due to consumers’ expectations, shipping delays in COD systems, fluctuations in raw material prices, increases in logistics costs, reduced margins, over-budgeting in production, depreciation of sewing machines, and human error within organizational operations. This research applies a qualitative descriptive approach through observation and interviews with business owners and operational workers. The results of the study show that the company has implemented risk identification and digital inventory monitoring but has not yet applied a structured risk assessment and treatment plan according to ISO 31000. Strengthening risk communication, key performance indicators (KPIs), and supplier contract management are recommended to enhance business sustainability.
