Abstract

Speaking skills are the most basic and important aspect of learning Arabic. Seeing the importance of this skill, the Nursing Study Program at Madani College of Health Sciences conducts Arabic speaking skills learning in each semester with the aim that graduates of this study program are able to communicate in their profession using Arabic, especially in Middle Eastern countries. However, the Arabic teaching materials that have been used have not been relevant to the needs of students and have not been maximized to improve students' speaking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the design of textbooks with interactive topics adapted to the language of students, adding appropriate vocabulary and images to each material. This study used Borg and Gall's research and development (R&D) method. The sample in this study consisted of 32 1st semester students from the nursing study program. The data collection techniques used included tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Arabic textbook product was tested and received an assessment and validation by experts in their fields, scoring 89% with good criteria, 95% teacher assessment, and 82% student assessment. The results of student test scores after using this course book (8.2) were higher than the test scores before using the course book (5.9), leading to the conclusion that this course book design is practical, feasible, and suitable for improving the learning process.

Abstract

Arabic literature is the most authentic reflection of the social, cultural, and political dynamics that have shaped the Arab world from the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah) to the peak of Islamic civilization. This article examines the historical development of Arabic literature by highlighting the shifts in themes, forms, and functions of literature within the context of Arab societal changes.During the Jahiliyyah period, poetry served as the primary medium for expressing tribal identity, pride, and collective existence. With the advent of Islam, literature underwent a major transformation with the revelation of the Qur’an, which not only altered the structure of language and rhetoric but also expanded the intellectual horizons of Arab society.This evolution reached its peak during the Abbasid era, when literature flourished as a vehicle for intellectualism, social critique, and philosophical exploration, alongside the advancement of knowledge centers such as Baghdad.This study employs historical-philosophical and philological approaches to demonstrate that Arabic literature is not merely a cultural product, but also an agent of civilizational change. By viewing literature as a mirror of its era, this article underscores the importance of understanding literary works as an integral part of the history of Islamic civilization.

Abstract

يواجه تعليم اللغة العربية في كثير من الأحيان مشاكل لغوية وغير لغوية. المشكلات اللغوية مثل الصوتيات والصرف والنحو. في حين أن المشكلات غير اللغوية الأخرى هي نشاط التعلم، أدواته، وأساليبه، وبيئته. يعود سبب هذا البحث إلى أن بعض الطلاب يجدون صعوبة في تلقي مادة اللغة العربية بسبب قيام المعلم بالتدريس بدون وسائط واستخدام الطريقة القديمة، مما يجعل الطلاب يفشلون في فهم المادة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد مدى فاعلية الوسائط المصورة في تحسين نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية لدى طلاب الصف الرابع بالمدرسة المحمدية الإبتدائية سولو. هذا بحث كمي تجريبي، باستخدام نموذج البحث التجريبي في شكل تصميم الاختبار والبعد لمجموعة واحدة. تقنية جمع البيانات هي الاختبارات. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإن تحليل البيانات المستخدم هو حساب اختبارات t. ولأنها ليست عادية ولكنها متجانسة فقد استعان الباحثون بمساعدة  Wilcoxon's بمساعدة برنامج SPSS 25. وكان معدل نتائج الاختبار البعدي 77.00 بينما كانت نتائج الاختبار القبلي 66.5. من نتائج اختبار Wilcoxon's ، sig (2-tailed)  0.006 أصغر من 0.05. ومن ثم يمكن استنتاج أن الوسائط المصورة فعالة في تحسين نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية لدى طلاب الصف الرابع بالمدرسة المحمدية الإبتدائية سولو.
