Abstract

THE MAIN PROBLEM OF THIS RESEARCH WAS “IS THERE ANY SIGNIFICANT EFFECT OF USING CONTEXT CLUES STRATEGY TOWARD STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION?”. Therefore, objective of this research was to find out whether or not there is significant effect of using context clues strategy on students’ reading comprehension. In this research, the researcher used quasi- experimental method by using the pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was 142 students consisting of four classes. The sample was X.OTKP there are 34 students which was treated as experimental class taught by using context clues strategy and X.BDP there are 34 students which was treated by conventional. Based on the finding, three hypothesis (Ha) were accepted. The first, the result of the pre-test and the post-test scores of experimental class was found that the tobtained (10,31) more than ttable (1,960). The second, the result of the post-test scores of experimental and control class were found that the tobtained (4,21) more than the ttable( 1,960). The last, the result of the post-test of experimental class and control class were found that tobtained (4,21) more than ttable (1,960). It means that by using context clues strategy in teaching English gives significant effect on students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan penjualan, intensitas modal dan manajemen laba terhadap beban pajak penghasilan dengan kemampuan manajerial sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan sektor industri pengolahan sub sektor industri kret, barang dari karet dan plastik yang terdaftar di BEI. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 15 perusahaan dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 11 yang di diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan periode penelitian 2019-2022. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan penjualan dan intensitas modal berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap beban pajak penghasilan. Sedangkan manajemen laba tidak berpengaruh terhadap beban pajak penghasilan. Hasil lain kemampuan manajerial tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan antara pertumbuhan penjualan, intensitas modal dan manajemen laba terhadap beban pajak penghasilan.

Abstract

Students’ learning quality in the classroom is influenced by the learning environment. The ability of teachers to control the seating arrangement is required. This study sought to understand how English teachers saw setting arrangements and what challenges they encountered while implementing them. A descriptive study using a qualitative methodology was used in this investigation. The study’s findings showed how crucial the English teacher’s opinion of the seating arrangement pattern is. The class arrangement that has been used is a separate table for solitary work and a seating pattern. In an effort to make learning enjoyable and not boring. One of the challenges that teachers frequently encountered was the state of the students, who frequently made noise when the sitting arrangement was altered. They were not only difficult to control, but they also objected to the change; b) The classroom’s tight space also makes it difficult to implement the seating arrangement plan. In order to improve the quality of learning for students, this research study aims to motivate teachers to design the learning environment.
