Abstract

One of the essential aspects of the learning process is instructional media. An instructional media that can be utilized is augmented reality (AR)-based instructional media. This research aims to assess the feasibility of AR-based instructional media on the digestive system. The stages involved in this research include gathering information through literature review, designing AR-based instructional media, validating AR-based instructional media, and revising AR-based instructional media based on validator feedback. The validation results of AR-based instructional media, with four assessment aspects including linguistic, illustration, attractiveness, and quality, obtained a score of 1.00, indicating a very high rating. AR-based instructional media can visualize digestive system material that cannot be directly observed through the presentation of illustrations such as images and videos that resemble real conditions, thereby reducing misconceptions about the digestive system material. It is concluded that AR-based instructional media is suitable for instructional media on the digestive system topic

Abstract

An educator is required to be able to master methods and choose appropriate learning media, to support a quality learning process. This research aims to determine the feasibility of a sub-material encyclopedia on the role of the diversity of living things for life based on an inventory of medicinal plants as a learning medium. The form of this research is research and development which includes the potential and problem stages related to the importance of learning media as supporting the teaching and learning process, the data collection stage through the results of an inventory of medicinal plants, the encyclopedia preparation stage, the encyclopedia validation stage, and the encyclopedia revision stage in accordance with the suggestions given by a validator. This encyclopedia is assessed based on aspects of presentation, content and language which show that this encyclopedia is suitable for use as a learning medium. The validation results of the encyclopedia media by five validators were analyzed using Lawshe's calculations which showed that from three aspects with eleven criteria a content validity ratio value of 1.00 was obtained in the valid category and the average value of all criteria content validity index was obtained of 1.00 with a valid category so that it is declared suitable for use as learning media

Abstract

Learning media is a tool used in the school that can help teacher in the teaching process. Media that is made according to needs can help students achieve learning goals effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine the feasibility of booklet the role of biodiversity based on inventory of post-birth medicinal plants in Mekar Sari Village on the sub-material role of living things for life in class X. This study uses research development by Sugiyono which consists of determining potential and problems, data collection, designing media, validating, finally revising the design. The validity of the booklet media was obtained through content validation carried out by five validators. Booklet media validation is viewed from three aspects, namely format, content and language. Validation analysis refers to Lawshe (1975), namely content validity ratio (CVR) and content validity index (CVI). The research results show an average CVR of 1.00 and resulting in a CVI of 1.00 in the valid category. The results of the analysis in this research can be concluded that booklet media is suitable for use as learning media

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has a significant impact on the world of education, particularly in the provision of learning media. Video-based learning media has become an effective alternative for visualizing complex materials, such as in the bioassay technique course. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of educational videos as media for the Bioassay technique course, which includes material on testing using animal testing. This study uses the research and development (RD) method with a modified ADDIE development model consisting of four stages: analysis, design, development, and evaluation. Data collection techniques include validation by experts. The instrument used is a validation sheet with a Likert scale. The aspects assessed include format, content, and language. For the four indicators in the format aspect, a validity score of 1 was obtained. Similarly, for the three indicators in the content aspect, the validity score was also 1, and for the two indicators in the language aspect, the validity score remained at 1. Overall, from these three aspects, an average validation score of 1.00 was achieved, categorized as very high. Therefore, the video is deemed suitable to be used as a learning media in the bioassay technique course.

Abstract

Learning media is one component in the learning system which functions as a means of non-verbal communication. The use of learning media aims to help educators convey information so that it is easy to understand, learning becomes effective and efficient, increasing student activity and student motivation to learn. Media creation can also be developed based on the research results. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of a sub-material encyclopedia on the role of the biodiversity for life in class X based on the results of inventory of medicinal plants for male and female reproductive health in Balai Harapan Village, Tempunak District, Sintang Regency as a learning medium. This research uses development research methods. This development procedure consists of determining potential and problems, gathering information, designing the product, validating the design, and revising the design. The validity of the encyclopedia is obtained through content validation carried out by five validators. Encyclopedia validation is viewed from three aspects, namely presentation, content and language. Validation analysis uses Lawshe's (1975) content validity ratio (CVR) and content validity index (CVI) approaches. The research results show an average CVR of 1.00, resulting in a CVI value of 1.00 in the "valid" category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the encyclopedia is suitable for use as a learning media
