Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performance Komunikasi Politik aktivis mahasiswa dalam demonstrasi reformasi korupsi di kota Cirebon 2020 dengan menggunakan presfektif Dramaturgi. Peneliti menelaah performance komunikasi Komunikasi Politik aktivis mahasiswa, dan mengkaji perbedaan antara Front Stage dan Back Stage, Performance aktor sangat berperan penting dan menjadi perhatian penulis. Asumsi Teori Dramaturgis Erving Goffman bahwa dalam interaksi keseharian, individu selalu berperilaku tidak sama. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kulitatif dengan pendekatan Studi dramaturgi milik Erving Goffman, dengan Paradigma Interpretivisme. Dramaturgi mampu mengupas karakter sebenarnya dari sang aktor, lewat keseharian dengan orang-orang terdekatnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan performance komunikasi aktivis mahasiswa dalam demonstrasi reformasi korupsi di kota Cirebon antara front stage dan back stage.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to describe the text analysis used by NU Online media in reporting on radicalism movements, to describe the analysis of text production practices used by NU Online media in reporting on the counter-radicalism narrative movement and to describe the analysis of socio-cultural (macro) practices used by NU Online in reporting. counter-radicalism narrative movement. This study uses a text qualitative research method with the critical discourse analysis approach of Norman Fairclough. The data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that NU Online in countering radicalism narratives uses the principles or values of ahlusnunah wal jamaah. There are three main characteristics of the teachings of ahlussunnah wal jamaah or what we call Aswaja which was always taught by Rasulullah SAW and his companions. NU Online creates educational content, before they access social media they find radical articles, of course we will have a meeting and conduct counter narratives and have authoritative references. Analyzing according to the context and issues in society, we present it with good references, clearly in accordance with Aswaja and Pancasila guidelines. The counter-narrative movement is moment bound and can also use alternative narratives. Namely, narratives that focus on reinforcing positive and unifying ideas.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the John Fiske Semiotics Analysis Of The Values Of Dakwah In Film 3: Alif Lam Mim. This research is motivated by a film with a futuristic theme by telling about the world of ffriendship, brotherhood, and family drama that contains da'wah values. This study aims to describe the value of da'wah elements of faith (aqidah), elements of Islam (shari'a), elements of sincerity (morals) contained in Film 3: Alif Lam Mim. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using John Fiske's theory of semiotic analysis. The primary data source in this study, the writer watched the movie 3: Alif Lam Mim directly and the secondary data source was obtained from literature, books, the internet, and previous studies which will be used to help the writer analyze it in more depth. While the data collection is done by watching the film, compiling a theoretical framework, dividing the film into several scenes, cutting the video (cutting), drawing conclusions from the results of the analysis. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that the values of da'wah contained in Film 3: Alif Lam Mim: 1) The value of da'wah is an element of faith (aqidah) which is about faith in Allah SWT. 2) The value of preaching Islamic elements (shari'a) is about religious tolerance. 3) The value of preaching the element of sincerity (morality) is about commendable morals and honesty.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving era of globalization, the role of women in the workforce has undergone significant changes. Many women now choose to pursue careers outside the home, including working abroad as female workers. Interpersonal communication is a crucial element in building and maintaining family harmony, especially for female workers overseas. Openness, positivity, support, equality, and empathy are key to fostering strong relationships. This study aims to describe the interpersonal communication of female workers in building a harmonious family and to identify the supporting and hindering factors in interpersonal communication for female workers in Waringin Village, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type and a case study design. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that effective interpersonal communication is vital for female workers to maintain family harmony despite physical distance. Openness builds trust, positivity maintains enthusiasm, support ensures attention despite the distance, equality prevents conflicts, and empathy addresses emotional needs. However, challenges such as time zone differences, parenting conflicts, guilt, and stress can hinder communication. By addressing these hindering factors, female workers can continue to maintain supportive and harmonious family relationships.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is important in life, including in marriage. Early marriage remains an issue in Indonesia, with various contributing factors. Islam views marriage as a positive thing to build a harmonious family. Effective communication plays an important role in building intimacy in early marriage couples. Uncertainty Reduction Theory is relevant to understanding how communication can reduce uncertainty and increase intimacy. This study aims to understand the process of Uncertainty Reduction Theory in Building Intimacy in Early Marriage in Argasunya Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City and to identify the strategies of Uncertainty Reduction Theory in Building Intimacy in Early Marriage in Argasunya Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach aims to explore and capture the social situation comprehensively, broadly, and deeply. Qualitative research produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behaviors. It focuses on social phenomena, feelings, and perceptions of participants. This approach was chosen to obtain complete information about building intimacy in early marriages in Argasunya Village. The data collection technique was carried out by three main methods, namely observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis in this study uses a descriptive analytical method consisting of three main stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of this study are that in Argasunya Village, Cirebon, early marriage is common. Couples use passive, active, and interactive communication strategies based on Uncertainty Reduction Theory to build intimacy. They adjust their strategies according to the stages of marriage, overcoming obstacles such as differences in background and uncertainty. It is hoped that these findings can add to the literature of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Bunga Bangsa Islamic University of Cirebon in particular. The implications of the results of this study show how early marriage couples in Argasunya Village build intimacy through tailored communication strategies based on Uncertainty Reduction Theory, providing valuable insights for the development of interventions that can improve young couples' relationships in specific religious and socioeconomic contexts. The recommendation is that the local government of Cirebon City, especially in Argasu Village, develop a mentoring program for early marriage couples that focuses on improving interpersonal communication skills with the Uncertainty Reduction Theory approach
