Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of rising prices of basic necessities on the purchasing power of people in Limboto District. This study used a quantitative research approach using questionnaire research instruments. The data source used was sourced from 30 respondents. The analysis tool used is simple linear regression because it only measures two variables, namely the dependent variable purchasing power (Y) and the independent variable (X). The results of the study concluded that the increase in the price of basic goods in Limboto District had a positive impact on the decline in people's purchasing power. The magnitude of the impact or influence of the increase in the price of basic commodities on people's purchasing power is 27%. The results of the analysis were carried out to form a regression equation Y = 58.183 - 0.895X which means that if there is a change in variable X (the price of basic commodities) it will reduce people's purchasing power by -0.895.

The goal is to enhance the community's knowledge, skills, and awareness to manage BUMDes professionally, participatively, and sustainably based on local potential. Methodology/approach: The activity was conducted on April 26–27, 2025, in Bongo III Village using a participatory-experiential workshop method. The program applied adult learning principles and the experiential learning cycle (concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, active experimentation) through interactive discussions, group simulations, and business plan development sessions. Data collection was conducted through field observations and in-depth interviews with village stakeholders. No specific software was used. Results/findings: The training increased participants’ understanding of BUMDes institutional concepts, improved managerial skills, and fostered community awareness regarding the importance of transparent and accountable governance. Participants successfully developed a preliminary business revitalization plan based on local agricultural and fisheries commodities. Conclusion: The training strengthened community capacity to manage BUMDes professionally and encouraged active local economic participation. Limitations: The activity was limited in duration (two days) and did not yet include long-term mentoring or monitoring of BUMDes implementation. Contribution: This study contributes to the field of community development, rural economic empowerment, and public administration by providing a contextual model for institutional capacity building at the village level. It is relevant to academics, practitioners, and policymakers involved in rural governance and economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze whether: 1) area (X1), labor (X2) and capital (X3) have a partial and significant effect on corn production, and whether 1) area (X1), labor (X2) and capital (X3) have a simultaneous and significant effect on corn production in Karyamukti Village, Mootilango District. The research method used is research with a quantitative approach and descriptive type. The results of the study are: The results of corn production by farmers in Karyamukti Village, Mootilango District, Gorontalo Regency are 99.20 percent influenced by land area factors (X1), labor factor (X2), and capital factor (X3). Based on the equation Y = 10.369 + 0.688X1 + 2.128X2 + 1.523X3, it shows a very large possibility for farmers to increase their production by increasing the use of land area factors, labor factor, and capital factor for their corn planting business production. Partially, all factors studied, namely land area factors (X1), labor factors (X2), and capital factors (X.) Capital factors (X3) have a positive and significant effect on the amount of corn production produced by farmers in Karyamukti Village, Mootilango District, Gorontalo Regency. Simultaneously, land area factors (X1), labor factors (X2), and capital factors (X3) have a positive and significant effect on the amount of corn production produced by farmers in Karyamukti Village, Mootilango District, Gorontalo Regency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the manufacturing sector to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses a quantitative analysis approach with a five-year time series database of Gross Regional Domestic Product (2015-2019). The results of the study found that the processing industry was able to contribute to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Bone Bolango Regency in the last five years (2015-21019). The amount of contribution can be seen from the model summary table which has a RSequare value or an average contribution of 96.4 percent. This means that the manufacturing sector is able to contribute an average of 96.4 percent. The regression equation formed is: Y = 506,674 + 13,327X, illustrating that if there is no contribution from the manufacturing sector, the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Bone Bolango Regency will only have an average value of Rp. 506,674 billion. While the regression coefficient with a value of 13.327 shows that every time there is an increase in one unit value (X = Processing Industry) the value of Y (Gross Regional Domestic Product) will increase by one unit as well and vice versa

Abstract

Farmer productivity is an element that is always a target in every farming business, this study aims to find out how the productivity of rice farmers in Boludawa Village, Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The research instrument used a questionnaire distributed to 40 respondents. The analytical method used in this research is using multiple regression analysis equipment, which involves three variables, namely X1 (fertilizer costs), X2 (labor costs) and Y (farmer productivity). This research concludes that there is a significant effect between the production factors X1, and X2 on the productivity of rice farmers (Y) in Boludawa Village, Suwawa District. Significance was shown by the results of the analysis and obtained the multiple linear regression equation Y = 364,064,324 + 0,764X1 + 2,001X2. The productivity of rice farmers in Boludawa Village, Suwawa District is influenced by the magnitude of the R squre value of 0.628 or 62.8 percent of rice farmers' productivity is influenced by the amount of fertilizer costs and labor costs used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence fishermen's income in Bajo Village, Tilamuta District, Boalemo Regency. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The data source was obtained through a questionnaire instrument and used 40 respondents and the analytical tool used was multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the production factors X1, (Capture) X2, (Experience) X3, (Technology) and X4 (Operating Costs) on the income (Y) of fishermen in Bajo Village, Tilamuta District, Boalemo Regency. The results of multiple regression analysis produce a multiple regression equation Y = -2,446,683.31 + 0.887x1+ 0.657x2+ 0.761x3 – 0.061x4. The magnitude of the influence is indicated by the R squre value of 0.955 or 95.5 percent, meaning that both the values X1, X2, X3, and X4 greatly affect the Y value (Fishermen's Income) of 0.955 or 95.5 percent while the remaining 4.5 percent in influenced by other factors outside the research.
