Abstract

The increasing number of internet user penetration in Indonesia due to the Covid-19 pandemic with 51.1% of its activities spent on accessing social media and business trends in the fashion product sector in 2020 was seen as an opportunity by Latusha Hijab to start a business. This study aimed to know the role of social media marketing in increasing sales of Muslim fashion support products during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted by the method of observation and direct interviews with the owner of the online shop Latusha Hijab. The results showed that Latusha Hijab relied 100% on social media and internet networks in running its business. It was also known that the social media marketing implemented by Latusha Hijab was able to increase the number of sales of hijab products. However, there were still many that need to be optimized so that they could achieve sales targets.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the national economy to a global recession. One of the business sectors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic is MSMEs which are also the reason for the decline in economic conditions in Indonesia. MSME is a business sector that has economic contribution to Indonesia's GDP by 61.1%. However, many business actors are unaware of the importance of recording each financial transaction of its business to see and analyze their business developments regularly. This study aimed to analyze the financial statements of Latusha Hijab MSME by taking into account the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SAK EMKM). The object of this research was Latusha Hijab, a new MSME in the field of hijab fashion. The data collection used observation and interview methods. The results showed that the recording of financial reports by Latusha Hijab was not in accordance with the principles of the SAK EMKM. Therefore, further assistance was necessary to provide additional knowledge and skills regarding how to record financial reports correctly and properly.

Abstract

The service of the Jambi University Pro-Idea Team is located in Jati Mulyo village which is located in Dendang District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province. The majority of the people of Jati Mulyo Village make their living as oil palm farmers. Waste from empty palm oil bunches is often found in the village. By looking at the existing potential, innovation emerged to utilize TKKS as a medium for cultivating oyster mushrooms, with the hope that waste problems in the industry and oil palm plantations could be reduced. The aim of the Pro- Ide Team's service activities to the community is the use of TKKS waste, empowering the community regarding how to make baglog from TKKS waste as a medium for cultivating oyster mushrooms. The method used in this research is education about the benefits of EFB waste and making baglog as a breeding medium for oyster mushrooms. This activity produces oyster mushroom baglog which can increase the selling value produced, as well as increase the  creativity  of  human  resources  in  Jati  Mulyo  Village,  Dendang  District,  East  Tanjung Jabung Timur, Jambi
