Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the open environment on the development of creative thinking in children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Istiqomah. Nature-based learning environments provide hands-on experience through interaction with real objects, so that they can stimulate children's curiosity, imagination, and ability to explore new ideas. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The study subjects were group B children who participated in open environment learning activities. The study results show that activities such as playing in nature, using natural materials in learning, and exploring the surrounding environment directly can improve children's ability to think divergently, solve problems, and come up with original ideas. In addition, teachers also play an important role in facilitating and directing children's activities to remain under learning goals. These findings reinforce the importance of an open-environment learning approach as an effective strategy for supporting the development of creative thinking in early childhood.

Abstract

Kreativitas Merupakan salah satu modal penting yang perlu dimiliki siswa dan guru untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam belajar. Kreativitas ini merupakan kemampuan untuk menghasilkan ide-ide baru yang bisa membantu memecahkan masalah. Dengan itu, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning) menggunakan media plastisin dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kreatif anak. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek dipilih sebagai metode yang memungkinkan anak untuk belajar secara aktif melalui eksplorasi, kolaborasi, dan pemecahan masalah nyata, sehingga dapat merangsang kreativitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di KB Aziziah. Dengan menggunakan data teknik observasi kepada anak, wawancara kepada guru dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan media plastisin mampu meningkatkan kreativitas anak, dengan anak-anak menunjukkan keberanian bereskpresi dan kemampuan berkolaborasi yang lebih baik. Hal ini di sebabkan karena siswa diajak dengan cara mengerjakan proyek yang berfokus pada penerapan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk menyelesaikan tantangan dunia nyata. Selain itu juga, pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini mampu memberikan kebebasan kepada anak untuk berkreativitas sesuai dengan ide yang dimilikinya dan imajinasinya dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk anak usia dini serta memperkaya khazanah ilmu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of audiovisual-based learning at RA Nurul Islam to improve the concentration of learning in children aged 5-6 years. Early age is an important period in the development of children's education, where experience and environmental stimulation play a very important role. This study identified children's difficulties in concentrating and understanding learning materials due to less interactive teaching methods. By implementing audiovisual media, such as videos and animations, children can more easily understand information. The results showed that the use of audio and visual elements was effective in increasing interest and concentration in learning, as well as encouraging active participation in children. RA Nurul Islam is committed to creating an interactive learning environment with group assessments. These findings indicate that audiovisual-based learning not only improves concentration, but also provides a more meaningful and enjoyable educational experience for children.
