Abstract

Abstract One of the activities of a Sharia Bank that distributes funds to the public to develop a service based on independent information technology to be practical, easy, comfortable, and economical in cost, on Self-Service Technologies (SSTs) services such as Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), SMS Bankimg, Mobile Banking, and Internet Banking. Currently, people in urban areas have been using SSTs a lot, while in rural areas SSTs the facilities and infrastructure are not sufficient enough. The aim is to examine people's preferences in the use of SSTs in Islamic banks. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the research subjects were in the Pamijahan sub-district, Bogor regency. The results of this study indicate that people's preferences are like or dislike like the number of respondents who like ATM machines 100% and 0% dislike, Mobile Banking is preferred by 75% and those who do not like it 15%, Internet Banking is preferred by 15% and those who do not like it. 75%, and SMS Banking is preferred 0.5% and 98.05% do not like it. In the village community, Kecamatan Pamijahan prefer ATM machines rather than Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and SMS Banking because ATM machines are one of the facilities that are characterized by being able to withdraw cash cash at the ATM machine. Utilization of Self-Service Technologies In the Pamijahan sub-district, Bogor Regency, it is time efficient, practical, can check financial 24 hours, is safe, gets bank information, is free to register, and is comfortable. It is necessary to develop SSTs in rural communities so that their use is more optimal. Keywords: Preferences, Utilization of Self-Service Technologies, and Islamic Banks

Abstract

ABSTRACT Bank Indonesia in BI Circular Letter No. 9/24/DPbs 2007 states that the assessment of the soundness of a bank is influenced by the CAMELS factor (Capital, Asset Quality, Management, Earnings, Liquidity, Sensitivity to Market Risk). This study aims to examine the effect of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non Performing Financing (NPF) on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT. Mandiri Syariah Bank for the 2012-2019 period. The research method used is the type of quantitative and secondary data from the financial statements of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri starting from the first quarter of 2012 to the fourth quarter of the 2019 period so that 32 samples of financial statements were collected. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non Performing Financing (NPF) simultaneously have a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA), with a Fcount of 110.076 > Ftable of 4.17 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05, the results the coefficient of determination for the Adjusted R Square (R2) value is 0.876 or 87.6%, which means that Return on Assets (ROA) can be influenced by both variables, namely Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non Performing Financing (NPF). While the remaining 12.4% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

concerning Implementation of Risk Management for Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) and Sharia Business Units (UUS), and the solutions provided to the risks that occur at BSM KCP Bogor Jalan Baru. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the type of qualitative descriptive research. The data used in this study were obtained from observations at the research site, direct interviews with relevant sources at BSM KCP Bogor Jalan Baru. The results of this research show: First, the application of risk management for gold installment financing products at BSM KCP Bogor Jalan Baru is carried out in 4 stages, namely: identification, measurement, monitoring, and risk control. Second, the implementation of risk management carried out by BSM KCP Bogor Jalan Baru is in accordance with POJK Number 65/POJK.03/2016. Third, the highest risk that occurs in gold installment financing products is credit or financing risk, so the solution is that banks must pay more attention to the risk identification stage, especially analysis on the 5C aspect.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the frequent occurrence of arrears in the payment of mortgage customer housing loans (KPR). . One of the principles used by banks in assessing whether or not a prospective customer is feasible or not is the 3R analysis (Return, Repayment, Ability to Bear Risk). The purpose of this study was to analyze the 3R factors in the provision of mortgage financing to customers in a study at the State Savings Bank Bogor Sharia Branch Office (BTN KCS Bogor). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection method was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques at BTN KCS Bogor. The results of the study show that the 3R factor analysis has been used by BTN KCS Bogor to provide credit. And in the KPR financing assessment mechanism at BTN KCS Bogor using 3R analysis, each has a sharia basis, both taken from the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of consumer protection for banking customers, especially housing. The purpose of this research is to find out the contract and mechanism of mortgage financing, the responsibility of bank BTN as a provider of mortgage products, and whether there are Islamic values in consumer protection at Bank BTN Syariah KC Bogor. This research was conducted at Bank BTN Syariah KCS Jalan Jendral Sudirman Bogor. This research is qualitative and the data collection method is by conducting interviews, observation and documentation at BTN KCS Bogor. The analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that the contracts used in mortgage financing at Bank BTN KCS Bogor are murabahah and wakalah. Consumer protection still needs to be improved.
