Abstract

Abstrak   Saat  ini  mesin  kendaraan  bermotor  mempunyai  engine  map  yang  dapat  diubah-ubah mappingnya sesuai keinginan pemilik. Salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan map terbaik tentu saja diperlukan cara khusus agar tidak melakukan kesalahan dalam melakukan perubahan tersebut. Artificial neural Network (ANN), saat ini sangat memegang peranan penting dalam melakukan optimasi terhadap efisiensi kinerja mesin, khususnya penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar.   Penelitian ini, dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melakukan simulasi untuk mendapatkan kinerja mesin yang efisien. pertama-tama akan dilakukan pengambilan sejumlah data  menggunakan scanner  pada engine control unit  (ECU) untuk mengetahui engine map saat ini (existing). Selanjutnya adalah melakukan optimasi menggunakan pemodelan menggunakan Artifcial Neural Network  (ANN). Pada simuasi ANN, digunakan kecepatan mesin, bukaan throttle, ignition timing dan time injection sebagai input, sedangkan output adalah torsi dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Optimasi dilakukan pada beberapa kondisi, yaitu posisi ignition timing maju 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, dan 40% serta mundur 10%, 15% dan 20%. Hasil optimasi ANN menunjukkan hasil yang maksimal pada posisi ignition timing maju 20%, yaitu menurunkan konsumsi bahan bakar sampai 12%, sedang pada pisisi ignition timing yang lain, terjadi peningkatan konsumsi bahan bakar, sehingga dapat mengurangi efisiensi mesin. Abstract

Rubber FKM Compound F515 merupakan type rubber yang terbaik dalam ketahanan terhadap panas (heat resistance) dan ketahanan terhadap minyak (oil resistance). tetapi rubbber sensitif terhadap temperatur pada prosesnya serta mahal dalam biaya pembuatannya. Pada penelitian ini akan melakukan teknik pengujian serta menguji karakteristik sifat rubber FKM dari tingkat kelenturan sampai tingkat kematangan compound dengan merubah waktu pencampuran. Pada waktu pencampuran 7 menit dengan temperatur 123ºC, compound tidak mengalami scorching dengan nilai modulus 4,94 N/mm², tensile strengh 18,97 N/mm², elongation at break 309,34%, moment low 6,48 (kgf/cm) dan moment high 47,14 (kgf/cm).

Abstract

The welding process on the steel causes mechanical properties such as residual stress and poorpenetration, this is because it can be caused by the use of polarity in welding because the theory forpolarity use is adjusted to the materialto be welded, thisresearch aims to know the the effect ofpolarity on ST 40 plate steel material with electrode E 6013. This method uses two methods ofwelding the first straight and second polarity method using reverse polarity method using reversepolarity method using ST 40 steel material (60 mm x 27,5 mm x 10 mm), then using hardnesstesting and microstruktur testing. The result of the research and calculation of known highhardness value 148,67 HR and for microstructure test result there is ferrite and perlite microstructure on raw material, and for welding area and HAZ grain area become more smooth due tohigh heat exposure so that the structure becomes finer, and the structure is formed ferrite andperlite with accicular ferrite lines. This to solve the problem when it is cracked or broken at thewelding area on the component convenyor between axle connecting with drive roll can be causeddue to incorrect use of polarity.

Abstract

The product of CBEA Terminal B / B2 Assy is one of the C8EA type Switch components used for brake light switches on two-wheeled vehicles. In the manufacturing process often experience Contact Crack. Contact Crack problems occur in the rivet ing process. This study aims to reduce / eliminate the contact Crack problem, the method used is to conduct research on variations in the height of the punch in the rivet ing process. The initial height of the punch before the research is 49.10 mm, in this study the height of the punch to be examined is 48.60 mm, 48.70 mm, 48.80 mm, 48.90 mm and 49.00 mm. The results obtained for the most appropriate punch height are the height of 48.60 mm with the contact Crack ratio of 3/20, the size of the Crack & contact size entered into the standard, the flexural strength is still standard and the average hardness produced is 92.52 HV which is included in the maximum standard.

Abstract

Farmers in Indonesia currently still use traditional tools to cut weeds because they are cheaper. However, it has many drawbacks, including taking a long time and a lot of manpower. Therefore this research is to create a weed cleaning machine with a cheaper and more efficient cost. In the research, the design of the semi-automatic weed cleaning machine was carried out and after that the performance testing of the tool was carried out. From the test, it was concluded that in this study, a semi-automatic weed cleaning machine has been successfully built with an engine power of 401.9 W or 0.538 HP, 6.4 Nm of torque and gasoline. Semi Automatic weed cutting machine capable of cutting weeds for an area of 1 hectare takes an average of 34.7 hours with a manufacturing cost of Rp.2.225.000.
