Abstract

Negara-negara Asean sepakat membentuk sebuah pasar tunggal di kawasan Asia Tenggara pada akhir 2015. Pasar tunggal ini dimaksudkan agar daya saing Asean meningkat serta bisa menyaingi Cina dan India untuk menarik investasi asing. Penanaman modal asing di wilayah ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan lapangan pekerjaan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Hadirnya Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) di Indonesia membuka lapangan kerja secara luas dan membuat semakin ketatnya persaingan tenaga kerja karena MEA memungkinkan kemudahan dalam merekrut tenaga kerja asing yang lebih profesional. Jika tidak dsiapkan maka ada kemungkinan negara kita hanya menjadi penonton dan pasar saja bagi negara asing. MEA tidak hanya berimbas kepada bidang ekonomi saja tetapi jelas akan masuk pula pada dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan mencetak para generasi penerus untuk dapat bersaing di kancah Asean maupun Internasional.Indonesia memiliki tantangan yang berat untuk menghadapi MEA yaitu tantangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang terlihat kurang siap untuk bersaing di kancah ASEAN. Berdasarkan kajian BPS 2014 menunjukkan bahwa penduduk Indonesia yang berusia di atas 15 tahun yang bekerja berdasarkan pendidikan secara berurutan adalah: SD sebanyak 46,8%, SLTP 17,82%, SLTA 25,23% dan pendidikan tinggi 10,14%. Apakah dengan komposisi yang demikian memberi keyakinan kepada kita akan kesiapan menghadapi MEA di akhir tahun 2015.Pendidikan mengemban tugas dalam menyiapkan SDM Indonesia yang mampu bersaing dalam menghadapi MEA ini. Peran pendidikan tentulah sangat besar, baik pendidikan secara formal, non formal, dan informal.Pada makalah ini akan dibahas sejauh mana kesiapan dan tantangan pendidikan inklusi dalam menyongsong MEA. Mengingat bahwa masyarakat atau siswa difabel adalah bagian dari masyarakat indonesia yang sedikit terabaikan yang tentunya juga akan mengalami dampak dari MEA.

Abstract

Globalization requires many sectors of life to be ready to compete globally. The application of the HOTS approach is considered an effective approach in growing higher order thinking skills based on nature. The writing of this article is to find out the teacher's strategy in developing higher order thinking skills in children at early childhood education institutions. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques using triangulation analysis methods. The results showed that children are often seen as weak individuals and have not been able to learn about social issues. The low ability to think in children is caused by the learning process that has not maximized children to think actively and find solutions to every challenge they face. To develop HOTS during the learning process the teacher must provide opportunities for children to be directly involved in every activity as well as questions that can spark children's thinking.

Abstract

The generative learning strategy assisted by flash animation had not been applied to overcome learners’ misconceptions. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of generative learning strategy assisted by flash animation to remediate learners’ misconceptions toward the Newton’s law about gravity and to determine the way to decrease learners’ misconceptions after the intervention. This research applied the quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted at Public Senior High School 5 Yogyakarta. The population consisted all ten graders, 216 participants. The sample was taken with purposive sampling from X-science-mathematics-2 learners as the control group and X-science-mathematics-4 learners as the experimental group. There were seventy-two learners. The applied instruments were two-tier multiple choice items and the learner-interview sheet, as the non-test instrument. From the research, the obtained N-Gain was 0.476. The hypothesis test showed that the t-test obtained the asymp.sig 2(tailed)of 0.000 and the probability score was 0.05. The asymp.sig (2-tailed) was lesser than the probability score and its effectiveness was 0.988. The decreased misconception after the intervention found in experimental group was 20% while the control group was 2.30%. It meant generative learning strategy assisted with flash animation was effective to remediate the tenth-graders’ misconceptions of Public Senior High School 5 Yogyakarta on Newton’s law about gravity
