Abstract

Infant health can be known one of them through the assessment of nutritional status. In general, Body Mass Index (BMI) has been used as a method for measuring the nutritional status of children. If there are two children who have same body weight and height, they may have different nutritional status. Whenever this occurs, the use of BMI for measuring the nutritional status shall be deemed less accurate. The anthropometry will be vital in measuring the nutritional statuss. The guidelines for determining the nutritional status Anthropometry parameters are selected and recommended which includes an assessment of the age, weight, body length or height. This research aims to build a model of C4.5 adaboost so it can recognize patterns and be able to classify the nutritional status of children into five classes: normal, fat, very fat, thin and very thin. The variables used in this classification is Gender, Age (Months), Weight (kg) Height (cm). C4.5 (decision tree) Method has a good performance in dealing with the classification of nutritional status but the C4.5 has a weakness in the class imbalance. Adaboost isone ofboosting methods that could reduce imbalances class by giving weight to the level of classification error which may alter the distribution of data. Experiments carried out by applying the adaboost method C4.5 to obtain optimal results and a good degree of accuracy. The experimental results obtained from C4.5 method show that accuracy is 89.53%, the error rate is 10.47%, while the results of C4.5 with adaboost show 90.23% accuracy and 9.77% error rate. It can be concluded in the classification of nutritional status of children with C4.5 and adaboost proven method to solve problems of class imbalance and improve the high accuracy and can reduce the level of classification error.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk kepedulian dari Lembaga Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat STEKOM Semarang adalah dengan mengadakan Pelatihan di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al Khoiriyyah Semarang untuk para pegawai di lingkungan tersebut. Upaya ini perlu dilakukan karena berdasarkan pengamatan sebelumnya, bahwa penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar serta aplikasi Streamlabs OBS oleh pegawai di sana masih kurang lancar dan baik serta belum mengenal sama sekali tentang penggunaan Streamlabs OBS. Dalam kegiatan operasional sehari-hari, penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia mendukung proses pembuatan laporan kegiatan, surat dan proposal. Penggunaan Streamlabs OBS diharapkan dapat membantu para guru untuk membuat video pembelajaran online maupun ketika memberikan pengajaran kepada para siswa secara live streaming selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 November 2021 dengan model praktek. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pegawai merasa puas dan senang dengan adanya pelatihan Streamlabs OBS dan Bahasa Indonesia ini karena mereka telah mampu mengaplikasikan Streamlabs OBS dan Bahasa Indonesia yang menjadi kebutuhannya. Tolak ukurnya adalah kehadiran para pegawai pada saat pelatihan mencapai angka lebih dari 90%. Di samping itu, setelah program pelatihan selesai dilakukan, mereka masih tetap ingin melanjutkan pelatihan ini dengan program aplikasi lainnya. Bahkan sebagian dari mereka mengusulkan adanya pelatihan rutin dari tim PPM Universitas STEKOM Semarang kepada para pegawai di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al Khoiriyyah Semarang.

Abstract

With the development of the times, it is undeniable that science and technology as well as the ease of development of the internet make it easier for people to identify liver disease, and become strong supporters of diseases with special needs. The initiative of computer experts with artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence, bioinformatics is defined as the application of computational and analytical tools to capture and view biological data. The amount of data on liver disease that continues to increase requires several methods to process and draw conclusions and information from the data, which is expected to be able to improve the quality of data or information as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of data processing. ultimately facilitate or assist in policy making, especially in tackling the problem of liver disease. To support this, data mining techniques can be used to find valuable information from a collection of information or historical data of the liver. Research on liver using data mining classifications has been done, both comparisons of several classifications of data mining models or improvements to data mining classifications. Research on liver has been carried out and research has been carried out. To conduct this research, it is necessary to have a study of previous related research. In order to know what methods were used, what kind of data was studied, and what kind of model was produced. The dataset used does not contain missing values, so there is no need to preprocess the data. In this study, the C4.5, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and C4.5 Adaboost classification methods were used. The results of this study indicate that the C4.5 Adaboost method is 77.12% and the sensitivity value is 76.40%, where the value is greater than the two other methods of analysis used

Abstract

Nutrition and nutrition of pregnant women is an important thing that must be met during pregnancy. The risk to the health of the fetus being conceived and the mother who is pregnant will be reduced if pregnant women get balanced nutrition and nutrition. Pregnant women who are malnourished can lead to premature birth, fetal death, abnormalities of the baby's central nervous system, as well as abnormal development, congenital defects, anemia in infants, low birth weight, and newborns with low health status.The problem that often arises today is the lack of knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of fulfilling nutrition / nutrition for pregnant women. Due to the lack of information and education of pregnant women. This study, designed a system for fulfilling the nutritional value of food for pregnant women using the Android-based COOPER method. Aims to make it easier for pregnant women to find information about nutritional intake through the selection of food menus.The author uses the Cooper method, because this method is very suitable for calculating the number of calories needed by pregnant women. The Cooper method calculates the number of calories by processing the ideal weight of pregnant women, the activities of pregnant women, and the number of hours of sleep pregnant women according to Poedysmoro (2005).To solve the problems above, it is necessary to design an Android-based information system application for the fulfillment of the nutritional value of pregnant women's food which is expected to help the role of the community, making it easier for pregnant women to find information about nutritional intake through the selection of food menus. This information can later be accessed by pregnant women to find out the fulfillment of nutrition through the food menu that must be consumed. Through the Android display that offers solutions so that it can be done anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

A study was conducted to identify the relationship between height and weight. A researcher claimed that on average, when height increases, weight increases. This is called the Benn parameter. Weight can be adjusted for height using the Benn parameter (kg/mB), where B is the power that minimizes the correlation with height. To investigate how the Benn parameter changes across age and differs between genders. Using linear regression. Multilevel modeling was used to develop a history showing how Benn's parameters change with age from childhood through mid-adulthood and into older age. The data used information from a sample of 40 adults and 40 children under five. Height was measured in centimeters, weight was measured in kilograms. At alpha equal to 0.05 (α=0.05), the hypothesis is that there is a relationship between height and weight. This is the data, which is height and weight. And here is the hypothesis. Abstract

Innovation in the fashion industry is increasingly influenced by the integration of technology, which plays a crucial role in creating more efficient and sustainable design practices. This study explores the potential of combining fabric slashing techniques with artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize the design process, reduce textile waste, and support sustainability goals. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study involved experimentally developing an AI-based algorithm capable of automatically generating cutting patterns. Surveys and in-depth interviews with fashion designers provided qualitative insights into the acceptance, feasibility, and challenges of adopting this technology in a real-world design environment. The results indicate that integrating AI into cutting techniques reduced textile waste by up to 25%, while accelerating the design process and enabling the creation of more complex and innovative patterns compared to traditional manual methods. Furthermore, designers reported that the AI-based system not only increased efficiency but also expanded creative opportunities by presenting previously unimaginable design alternatives. The study also highlights the broader implications of AI applications in fashion innovation, particularly in adapting industry practices to global sustainability demands. By reducing waste and encouraging smarter production systems, AI has the potential to catalyze the transformation of the fashion industry towards an environmentally friendly and resource-efficient sector. The results of this study reinforce the importance of implementing cutting-edge technologies in response to growing environmental concerns and market demand for sustainable fashion. This research also makes a significant contribution to the development of modern design approaches by presenting empirical evidence of the synergistic benefits of traditional techniques and digital intelligence, while also offering practical recommendations for designers, researchers, and industry stakeholders to utilize AI as a strategy in building a sustainable fashion ecosystem that balances creativity, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed the design industry by introducing innovative tools that enhance efficiency, creativity, and personalization in the design process. This article explores the impact of AI technologies on the practice of modern designers, from the early stages of idea generation to the final execution of projects. By analyzing case studies, conducting surveys, and reviewing recent literature, the study reveals that AI functions not only as a tool but also as a collaborator that expands the boundaries of human creativity. It allows designers to explore new possibilities and push the limits of traditional design processes. However, the integration of AI into design practices also raises important ethical and professional challenges, such as concerns about job displacement, data privacy, and the potential loss of human touch in the creative process. Despite these concerns, the findings highlight that embracing AI is crucial for designers to remain competitive and sustain their careers in the rapidly evolving digital era. Adapting to AI technologies, understanding their capabilities, and effectively incorporating them into creative workflows will enable designers to stay relevant and thrive in a landscape where technology continues to reshape the industry. This study provides insights into the evolving relationship between human designers and AI, offering recommendations for future research and practice in the field of design.
