Abstract

Globalisasi telah mengubah cara pandang orang dalam menghadapi berbagai hal, termasuk dalam hal pendidikan Islam. Perubahan itu dialami oleh para orang tua yang memiliki anak dalam masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Hadirnya boneka islami -studi kasus boneka Hafiz- di Indonesia ternyata mempengaruhi pemaknaan tersebut. Boneka islami yang bisa disebut sebagai virtual religion mampu memprivatisasi pendidikan agama Islam pada anak-anak mereka. Tulisan ini ingin mencoba menemukan bagaimana pemaknaan pendidikan Islam bagi orang tua yang telah mengonsumsi boneka islami tersebut dan atau bahkan hingga terjadi suatu komodifikasi pendidikan agama Islam. Globalisasi telah melintasi batas pasar dengan bukti hadirnya boneka tersebut sebagai peluang komoditi agama. Hal ini disebabkan harga boneka yang tidak murah, dan market mereka bisa dikatakan melebihi target. Di mana boneka yang dilihat dari segi harga dan kualitas diperuntukkan bagi kalangan kelas atas, namun peminat lebih banyak terletak pada orang tua kelas menengah.

Abstract

This study explores the use of Smart Hafiz, an interactive digital media device, in middle-class Muslim families in Yogyakarta as a symbol of piety for children. The study aims to understand how Smart Hafiz is integrated into daily life and how its use reflects the religious aspirations as well as the social identity of middle-class Muslim families. By using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and participant observations conducted in 2024. This study found that Smart Hafiz is not only used as a means of religious learning, but also as a symbolic reinforcement that piety is not enough to be practiced, but supported by religious symbols. These findings show that digital media plays an important role in shaping religious practices in the modern era, as well as reflecting the dynamics of interaction between religion, technology, and social classes. This research contributes to the study of media and religion, digital media is currently an alternative need for the piety of Muslim middle-class families.

Abstract

Nowadays, the phenomenon shows that promiscuity is not only engaged in by teenagers, even children whose status is still in elementary school feel how promiscuity is enjoyed. This is a concern for the public, academics, and most importantly parents. Parents feel uneasy when on social media they present photos and even videos of elementary school children who fall into promiscuity and this goes viral freely. One of the consequences of this promiscuity is the lack of religious education, one of which starts from compulsory prayer. Prayer is the initial religious foundation for children. If this is not handled quickly and appropriately, then the concern is that the morals of the nation's successors will be threatened. This article tries to present how the hadith talks about the commandment of prayer and the perspective of sex education for children and its impact on moral education. Keyword: Children, Hadith Commandment of Prayer, Moral Education.

Abstract

Al-Kindi is known as the first Muslim philosopher who played an important role in harmonizing Greek philosophy with Islamic teachings. His rational and integrative thinking made a significant contribution to the development of Islamic science and education. This article analyzes the influence of Al-Kindi's thought in contemporary Islamic education by reviewing the relevance of his rational and epistemological approach in the modern context. Through literature study methods and content analysis, this study finds that Al-Kindi's thinking can be the foundation for holistic Islamic education by combining science and religious values in a balanced manner. The results of the study show that the integration of science and religion offered by Al-Kindi is able to encourage critical, analytical, and creative thinking in Islamic education. In addition, Al-Kindi's rational approach has proven relevant in developing an Islamic education curriculum that is adaptive to the development of science and technology. This article concludes that Al-Kindi's thought made a significant contribution in creating Islamic education that is relevant to the needs of the times and is able to produce a generation that is intellectually intelligent and has noble character.
