Abstract

The incomplete combustion process will be a problem in the development effort of the diesel engine's performance. The non-homogeneous air-fuel mixing process is one of the factors which causes incomplete combustion. Heating the diesel fuel to a certain temperature before it goes through the high-pressure injection pump will lower its density and viscosity. Therefore, when injected in the combustion chamber, it forms smaller droplets of fuel spray which results in a more homogeneous air-fuel mixture. Moreover, using higher temperatures will make the diesel fuel easier to ignite to compensate for the limited time that is available in high-speed operating conditions. Diesel fuel heating can improve the combustion process to increase the power and decrease fuel consumption optimally.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus has spread in Indonesia, various efforts have been made to suppress the spread of this virus, one of which is the implementation of online learning. For this reason, the implementation of online learning is considered able to reduce the spread of the existing virus. This online learning has several obstacles. One of them is that many students do not have independence in learning. So the role of parents in accompanying their children in learning is very important. However, the problem is that many parents cannot accompany their children to  study as happened at Perum TAMARA. This is because parents do not have the ability to educate and or parents are busy working, the relationship between parents and students is uncertain and children are slow to learn. Even though the role of parents is very influential on the success of online learning. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of parents is to be ready to do online learning for their children. Alternative KKNT UMTAS Group 13 has a program for online learning assistance. Where children who are around Perum and around Perum will be accompanied when online learning or doing school assignments that are not yet understood.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. During this period, adolescents experience many challenges both from themselves (biopsychosocial factors) and the environment (environmental factors). According to WHO, adolescence occurs in the age range of 12-24 years. Meanwhile, according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2014, the meaning of adolescents is a population aged 10-19 years. Adolescence is a transitional period of human mental, physical and reproductive development that can have an impact on general health status. In adolescence, various changes occur in children as a form of puberty such as weight, height and so on. The development of information and technology can influence healthy adolescent behavior including risky behavior. Problems that usually occur in adolescents include juvenile delinquency, difficulty concentrating, lack of confidence, drug and narcotic abuse, to smoking. The purpose of this community service is to spur community development by growing its own motivational power, as well as being an agent of change and preparing development cadres and forming a youth posyandu in Jayagiri Village, Ciamis Regency. Youth Posyandu is here to help teenagers face their complex problems. The problem faced is that the youth posyandu cadres have not yet been formed and there has been no previous training so that this youth posyandu is a new thing in Jayagiri Village. The implementation method to solve this problem is to form a youth posyandu by providing training to youth posyandu members on the procedures for implementing a youth posyandu. The results and outputs produced are the formation of youth posyandu cadres by implementing a 5 table cadre training system for registration, implementation of height weighing examinations, recording, services and counseling and counseling.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to design and test a small-scale gold melting furnace with a capacity of 1 kg that is capable of producing high enough temperatures to melt gold efficiently. The gold smelting process requires a significant amount of energy, making the selection of the appropriate furnace type and accurate temperature control crucial for optimizing energy efficiency and smelting results. This study involves the design of an induction heating-based smelting furnace, chosen for its efficiency in rapid and uniform heating. The melting process was carried out by heating the gold ore until it reached the melting point of gold at approximately 1064°C, while measuring the energy required during the process. The results of the study indicate that the total energy required to melt 1 kg of gold is approximately 197,531 joules.
