Abstract

Technology users can make it easier to carry out activities, in fact there are many applications that can help do various jobs or things without exception. One of these technologies is virtual reality. In developing virtual reality, a method is needed to create animation applications according to needs. The resulting display discusses the layout and facilities of the Jakarta Muhammadiyah University Faculty of Education Building. Users can also be helped to see the area and layout of the building without having to visit the location. This research method is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this research are visitors. Based on the results obtained from this research, 98% of presentations were categorized as very good and feasible. And its feasibility needs to be further studied in the long term.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Augmented Reality yang sedang berkembang diterapkan sebagai sarana promosi baru pengenalan lingkungan di Kampus A Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta sekaligus diterapkan sebagai pemecahan masalah yang berada pada lokasi Kampus A Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, yaitu biasanya penunjuk lokasi tersebut hanya berbentuk denah ataupun papan penunjuk arah. Menghasilkan inovasi baru untuk sarana promosi dan informasi untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subjek peneltian ini adalah pengunjung umum Kampus A Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Hasil penelitian dari analisis data lembar validasi pengguna setelah melakukan uji coba aplikasi dari penilian pengunjung umum dan non-mahasiswa UMJ diperoleh persentasi 85% terkategori sangat baik dan layak. Namun perlu adanya beberapa perbaikan fitur dan optimalisasi aplikasi lagi kedepannya.

Abstract

Background: Currently, distance learning is booming and requires adaptation from students, teachers, and faculty. Identifying constraints is essential as inputs for faculty development. Purposes: to identify teacher and medical student perceptions of barriers and capacity in distance learning. Methods: This research was conducted using a cross-sectional survey of 42 medical teachers and 613 students Faculty Medicine and Health, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta students. It utilized secondary data from the Quality Assurance Unit in October 2020. Six variables were studied in this research, i.e., technical constraints of distance learning, teachers' perceptions of the essential components in distance learning, student self-perceptions, teachers' and students' perceptions of web conference effectiveness, and teachers' self-perceptions and students' satisfaction. Results: The top 5 technical constraints of distance learning complained were signal interference, internet data plan, limited e-literatures, and lack of communication with the faculty. According to the teachers, the essential components were faculty commitment (90%), regulation (85%), technical support (79%), course management, and teaching-learning guidelines (77%). Most students experience learning difficulties during distance learning. However, only 45% of students felt their independent learning method is effective. Teachers and students agreed that web conferencing is ineffective for learning clinical skills but disagreed on cognitive knowledge. 74% of teachers stated that the presentation was engaging. Meanwhile, more than 25% of students were dissatisfied. Conclusion: The top 4 technical constraints were signal interference, internet data plan, limited e-literatures, and lack of communication with the faculty. The important components of distance learning were faculty commitment (90%), 83% of students experienced learning difficulties during distance learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis e-learning pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di MA Annajah Islamic School Jakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran interaktif yang sesuai dengan perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), khususnya untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik bagi siswa Generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), namun hanya dilaksanakan sampai tahap Develop. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan angket respon siswa serta guru untuk mengukur kevalidan dan kepraktisan modul e-learning yang dikembangkan. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 86% dan validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh skor 82%, yang keduanya masuk dalam kategori “Valid”. Produk akhir berupa website e-learning yang menampilkan materi, tugas, serta fitur interaktif lainnya yang dapat diakses melalui perangkat digital. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media e-learning yang dikembangkan dinilai valid dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran TIK di tingkat Madrasah Aliyah.
