Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian menganalisa komitmen tugas  kepala sekolah SMP N Provinsi Jambi. Unit analisis para kepala sekolah SMP N Provinsi Jambi, populasi 564 orang kepala sekolah dan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Metode analisis kuantitatif dengan alat yaitu  analisis jalur (path analysis), dilanjutkan dengan analisis determinasi (R Square), Pengujian hipotesis secara parsial (uji t) dan simultan (uji F) dengan alpha 5 persen (0,05). Sebelum di analisis terlebih dahulu di uji instrumen (kuesioner) dengan uji validitas dan realibilitas serta asumsi klasik. Alat bantu analisis SPSS versi 22.0. Hasil analisis determinasi sebesar 0,32,11 bahwa variabel komitmen tugas kepala sekolah  sebesar 32,11%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 68,9 persen dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Komitmen tugas berpengaruh signifikan baik secara parsial. Semakin baik komitmen tugas, maka kepala sekolah SMP N Provinsi Jambi akan akan meningkat kualitas kepala SMP N Provinsi Jambi..Key word: Komitmen Tugas

Abstract

The increasing of energy demand for public transport and a rise of oil prices lead to intense of using green fuel for sustainable future. Red-seaweed polysaccharide consists of carrageenan can be used for production of bio-etahanol, as it supplies monosacharides. In this study, the possibility of bioethanol production using red-seaweed as raw material was examined. The purpose of this research was to determine the method of bioethanol production using red-seaweed. Two separate anaerobic fermentation following acid hydrolysis, each by different type of yeast, bread yeast (Saccharomyces cereviceae) and tapai yeast were conducted in this study. Acid hydrolysis for 2 h using H2SO4 of 5% at 100 oC of 100 g seaweed gel derived from 25 g of red-seaweed showed an optimal hydrolysis process yielded sugar content of 15.8 mg mL-1. Tapai yeast was not suitable for fermentation of red-seaweed hydrolysate, while Saccharomyces cereviceae gave an alcohol content of fermentate of 4.6% after 5-6 days of fermentation at room temperature.

Abstract

Bamboo grass (Lophatherum gracile B.) is a type of weed that can be utilized as a medicinal plant. Almost all parts of this plant contain secondary metabolites with potential as herbal medicine. This study was conducted to evaluate the breast cancer (T47D) anticancer activity of bamboo grass using an ultrasonic extraction method. The solvents used in this study were 80% ethanol, n-hexane, and chloroform. All extract samples were tested for their breast cancer (T47D) anticancer activity using the MTT assay. The IC50 values of the 80% ethanol, n-hexane, and chloroform extracts were 218.081; 292.412; and 395.144 ?g/mL, respectively. The TLC separation of tannin compounds from the 80% ethanol extract was identified using FTIR. The identification results showed key absorption peaks of tannin compounds, including O-H alcohol, C-O secondary alcohol, aliphatic C-H, C=C alkene, and ortho-substituted aromatic ring, with corresponding wavenumbers of 3455; 1094; 2963; 2929; 1650; and 780 cm?¹.

Abstract

Difficulties in writing a thesis are a common challenge faced by students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Halu Oleo University. Many students encounter obstacles in understanding the structure of scientific writing, formulating research problems, and applying appropriate research methods. To address these issues, a community service activity in the form of a Scientific Writing Innovation (Sci-Fi) Workshop was conducted as an effort to enhance thesis writing competencies. This activity aims to equip students with systematic thesis writing techniques and strategies through a participatory and innovative approach. The implementation methods include workshops, writing practicums, thesis reviews, project-based learning, and coaching clinics. The program involved 55 final-year students as participants. Evaluation results showed that approximately 85% of participants successfully drafted their theses up to Chapter III with proper structure and academic standards. Additionally, based on a satisfaction survey, over 90% of participants stated that the activity was highly beneficial and expressed hope for its regular implementation. Overall, the Sci-Fi workshop proved effective in enhancing students' scientific writing skills and building their confidence in the thesis writing process.
