Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out that Individual Counseling with a Reality Approach can Develop Self-Confidence in Students at SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar. This research was planned for 2 cycles, each cycle with 1 meeting. This research uses a cyclical classroom action research design. This effort is made to foster students' courage and enthusiasm because essentially a feeling of lack of self-confidence is born because of feelings of fear, whether it is fear of failure or because they are not confident in their abilities and all of this is the influence of the wrong mindset. The results of the research show that the results of services for students at SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar in cycle 1 to increase self-confidence using the Behavior Contract obtained an average score for cycle 1 of 68.0 with the highest score being 90, there were 4 people and the lowest score was 70, there were 11 people. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average score for cycle II was 79.0, with the highest score being 90, there were 7 people and the lowest score was 70, there were 8 people. Students who did not complete both in cycle I and cycle II were the same students, this was because these students basically had no intention of learning. Based on data on student learning outcomes from cycle I and cycle II, it showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar shows the results of increasing compliance with self-confidence using Behavioral Contracts. Individual Counseling with a Reality Approach can Increase the Self-Confidence of Students at SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar.

Abstract

Education in schools is planned education which in its implementation involves various components. The presence of students at school to take part in learning activities is one of the factors in student learning success. The main objective of this research is to: Overcome late students in class IX I Semester I of SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar for the 2023/2024 academic year by implementing group counseling services. The data collected in this research is data regarding student learning outcomes using counseling service guidance. The tools used in this method are the Laiseg, Laijapen, Laijapan tools which consist of counseling services, group counseling created by researchers adapted to the subject matter in the syllabus which is implemented at the end of each cycle. Judging from the frequency of scores obtained from research subjects based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of group counseling services can overcome delays in class IX I Semester I students at SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is evident from the results of the data which experienced an increase in each cycle, namely initially 32%, cycle I 59% and in cycle II it reached 91%.

Abstract

Students with effective career planning typically exhibit qualities including (1) comprehension of the professional landscape, (2) specific interests and aptitudes pertaining to a certain vocation, and (3) personality traits and values aligned with their career aspirations. Career advice services offer support to students by assisting in planning, problem-solving linked to occupations, and enhancing awareness of job roles. The introduction of community service activities yielded a result indicating that career guidance and counseling services enhance the ability to effectively execute career planning in alignment with students' talents and interests. This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy of a career advising program centered on interests and talents in enhancing students' future planning skills at SMP Negeri 4 Kediri. A multitude of junior high school pupils experience confusion in planning their futures due to a lack of understanding of their hobbies and talents. This program is intended to offer structured advice services that assist students in identifying their potential and formulating more pragmatic future plans. The research methodology employs a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest framework. The study's subjects comprised 30 grade IX pupils recruited purposively. The tool employed was a future planning questionnaire designed on the basis of career planning indicators. The data analysis results indicated a substantial rise in students' future planning scores following their participation in the program. Consequently, this curriculum has demonstrated efficacy in assisting students in preparing for the future in alignment with their interests and abilities

Abstract

Career selection is a crucial aspect of student development, especially at the senior high school level. At this stage, students are faced with various choices that will shape their future. Therefore, career guidance through Counseling and Guidance (BK) services plays a strategic role in helping students understand their potential, gain career-related information, and make appropriate decisions regarding their career paths. This study aims to describe the role of  BK in assisting Grade X student at SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar in determining career that match their interest, talents, and personalities. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with data collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The result show tha BK services contribute positively to increasing students’awarenesss of the importance early career planning. Through activies such as individual counseling, classroom guindance, an the aptitude assessment tools, BK teacher are able to guide students in undestading themselves and choosing an educational or career path that suits them. Thus, BK plays a vital role in facilitating student’s career exploration and decision-making processes

Abstract

Program magang mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling di Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DP3AP2KB) Kota Denpasar bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan teori konseling dengan praktik layanan sosial dan pemerintahan. Selama magang, mahasiswa terlibat dalam kegiatan edukasi, sosialisasi kesehatan mental, workshop pemberian makanan bayi dan anak (PMBA), kampanye stop bullying, serta penilaian Gender Champion. Pelaksanaan magang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan partisipasi aktif, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa magang memberikan pengalaman langsung yang meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam komunikasi interpersonal, empati, observasi, pengambilan keputusan etis, serta pemahaman tentang struktur organisasi dan program kerja instansi pemerintah. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan magang meliputi bimbingan intensif, fasilitas memadai, lingkungan kerja kondusif, dan kegiatan lapangan yang beragam. Kendala yang ditemui antara lain keterbatasan waktu, partisipasi belum merata, dan akses data yang terbatas. Meski demikian, kegiatan magang berhasil mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan pengembangan profesional, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat. Program ini menjadi sarana pembelajaran transformatif yang menyiapkan mahasiswa sebagai konselor profesional yang berintegritas dan adaptif dalam konteks pelayanan publik
