Abstract

Creative thinking skills can emerge and evolve from the environmental influences and complexity of the problems encountered. Elementary schools, an educational event that is important to equip students to bring up creative thinking skills. Mathematics as an academic in elementary school, bridging students to have a creative mindset. Along with the mathematical creative-thinking skills, there is also an self-efficacy as one of its creative thinking. Mathematics learning with the treatment of an open-ended approach in strategy is examined to know its influence on mathematical creative thinking and student of elementary schools self-efficacy. The research method used is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population of research, all students of grade IV SDN in Beber subdistrict. The sample was selected as the experimental class of SDN 1 Wanayasa and as the control class of SDN 2 Sindangkasih. At the level of significance 0,05 can be concluded the open-ended approach in strategy n-omino and conventional approach has a positive influence on the skills of creative thinking mathematical and self-efficacy, open-ended approach strategizing n-omino better in improving the mathematical creative thinking skills and no better in improving self-efficacy of students than conventional approach, there is no relationship between creative thinking ability and self-efficacy in spite of the 3,6% chance that both affects each other. Keywords :Open-Ended Approach, n-Omino Strategy, Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability, Self-Efficacy

Abstract

Abstract

In an effort to develop the Perlang Tourism Village, through the role of the Pentahelix Model. Perlang Tourism Village is one of the tourism areas located in Lubuk Besar District, Central Bangka Regency which has the potential to be developed because it has many attractive tourist destinations. The role of Pentahelix such as Academics, Business, Community, Government and Media seeks to develop Perlang Tourism Village for the better. However, it is not known in depth the involvement of related parties in the Development of the Perlang Tourism Village. Therefore, the researcher made the formulation of the problem in this research how is the Pentahelix Model in the development of the Perlang Tourism Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the involvement of the role of each informant to optimize the development potential of the Perlang Tourism Village. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The conclusion in this study is that the Pentahelix Model in Perlang Tourism Village Development has been running optimally. This is because the collaboration between informants has been going well and the roles of each actor have been realized optimally.

Abstract

Students' lack of conceptual understanding of fraction content is the driving force behind this research, which seeks to address this issue through instruction that can improve students' conceptual understanding. One of them is the use of magic board props combined with a realistic mathematical approach. With the use of realistic mathematical procedures including magic board props, this study sought to ascertain the extent to which students understand multiplication and division of fractions, as well as provide an explanation for this progress. Using nonequivalent control group research and quantitative research techniques, this research uses a quasi-experimental design. Participants in this research were fifth grade students at SDN Cimalaka III and SDN Citimun II. This assessment tool measures the subject's ability to grasp abstract ideas. On average, students' concept understanding skills improved by 72.21% and 66.76% respectively when taught mathematics using realistic mathematics methods compared to traditional approaches, according to the research. Fifth grade students' conceptual understanding can be improved with the use of teaching aids and realistic mathematics learning approaches. On average, the experimental group had an N-Gain of 0.5674, while the control group had 0.4184. This shows that compared with the control group, students in the experimental group gained 0.149 greater conceptual knowledge. Simply put, experimental group students who were taught mathematical concepts using a realistic approach using a magic board had a better understanding of the material than the control group who were taught using a more traditional approach.
