Abstract

Wastewater from chicken farms can cause a major risk to environmental pollution. Waste management needs to be carried out in chicken farming facilities because it ensures environmental protection, human health, and the quality of life of workers and communities living near chicken farming facilities. This study was conducted to analyze the quality of chicken farm wastewater discharge, namely broiler chicken breeding on farms based on chemical parameters, in addition it also aims to determine the characteristics of chicken farm wastewater. Wastewater samples were taken from the inlet and outlet of the Waste Treatment Plant (IPAL) at one of the chicken farms in Pangkep Regency. These samples were then taken to the laboratory to test the characteristics of the wastewater. Analysis of the quality of chicken farm wastewater, namely broiler chicken breeding in Pangkep Regency, was carried out using the Regulation of the Minister of Environment Number 5 of 2014 on Wastewater Quality Standards. The results of laboratory tests showed that the characteristics of chicken farm wastewater were Temperature 30.6˚; pH 7.24; Dissolved Solids (TDS) 665.9 mg/L; Suspended Solids (TSS) 48 mg/L; Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) 277.81 mg/L and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) 101.32 mg/L; Nitrite 0.017 mg/L; Nitrate 4.79 mg/L. In addition, there was a significant decrease in value after wastewater treatment at the IPAL so that the value of each parameter could meet the established quality standards.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship of organic carbon in sediments with the growth rate of seagrass Enhalus acoroides and Thalassia hemprichii. This research was conducted on Langkai Island, Makassar City, with three points, namely near the coast, in the middle and near the coral reefs. The research phase began with marking the seagrass E. acoroides and T. hemprichii in the field, then measuring the growth rate of the seagrass, followed by a sieving process to determine the texture of the sediment, and burning to determine the organic carbon content of the sediment. The results showed that differences in sediment organic carbon showed a weak correaltion and insignificant. The differences in the growth rates of seagrass E. acoroides and T. hemprichii based on point were not significant. The relationship between organic carbon and sediment texture has a weak correlation and insignificant. Similarly, the effect of organic carbon on the growth rate of seagrass E. acoroides and T. hemprichii also showed a weak correlation and insignificant.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penulis mengadakan Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya siswa melalui studi awal mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi menerima telepon dengan etika bertelepon di kelas IV SD Negeri Dukuhturi 07 dengan hasil nilai prestasi belajar siswa kurang optimal, , yaitu tingkat ketuntasan belajar hanya mencapai 18% atau 4 siswa saja yang tuntas dari jumlah 22 siswa dengan nilai rata- rata 52,7 dari KKM 70 yang ditetapkan penulis. Permasalahan dalam Penelitian ini adalah bagaimana menerapkan metode bermain peran (ROLE PLAYING) dada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi menerima telepon dengan etika bertelepon. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil Penelitian pada siklus I siswa yang belum tuntas belajar 19 siswa atau 41% dan yang telah tuntas belajar 13 siswa atau 59%, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 68,6 Hasil Penelitian pada siklus II siswa yang belum tuntas belajar tinggal 1 siswa atau 4,5% dan yang telah tuntas belajar 21 siswa atau 95,5%, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 82,7. Dari penjelasan diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktifitas yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran yang di upayakan dengan baik ternyata menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang baik pula. Terbukti dari siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan prestasi belajar yang signifikan. Berarti Pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah bervariasi yang di lengkapi dengan penggunaan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa,khususnya di kelas IV SD Negeri Dukuhturi 07 pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi menerima telepon dengan etika bertelepon. Kata kunci: Bahasa Indonesia, bermain peran, PTK, berhasil. RESULTS OF IMPROVING CLASS IV INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING USING THE CLASS ROLE PLAYING METHOD AT SD NEGERI DUKUHTARI 07 ABSTRACT The author conducted this research on the background of the low level of students through the initial study of Indonesian language subjects on the material of receiving telephone calls with telephone etiquette in class IV SD Negeri Dukuhturi 07 with the results of less than optimal student learning achievement, namely the level of learning completeness only reached 18% or 4 students who were completed from a total of 22 students with an average score of 52.7 from KKM 70 set by the author. The problem in this study is how to apply the role-playing method of Indonesian language learning chest material for receiving telephone calls with telephone etiquette. This research was carried out with two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Research results in cycle I students who have not completed learning 19 students or 41% and who have completed learning 13 students or 59%, with an average class score of 68.6 Research results in cycle II students who have not completed learning are only 1 student or 4.5% and who have completed learning 21 students or 95.5%, with an average class score of 82.7. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the activities carried out by the teacher in learning that are well attempted turn out to produce good learning achievements as well. Evidently from cycle I and cycle II there was a significant increase in learning achievement. This means that learning with varied lecture methods equipped with the use of props can improve student learning achievement, especially in class IV SD Negeri Dukuhturi 07 in Indonesian language subjects on receiving telephone material with telephone etiquette..
