Classroom management continues to be a teacher's struggle for teaching performances because it relates to students learning. There needs to be more understanding and knowledge about managing the students and classrooms with diverse student behaviour to solve the problems, particularly when identifying students' problems and understanding their different characteristics. However, this study explored teacher classroom management strategies in teaching speaking classes, especially in secondary schools. This study aims to (1) explore and describe the classroom management used by English teachers in teaching speaking. (2) find out the teacher strategy used to deal with the students' problems during classroom management's teaching and learning speaking process. (3) examine the impact of classroom management strategy in teaching practice. This study uses semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis to collect the data. The data findings reveal that teachers have different ways of dealing with different classroom situations based on their experiences and understanding, especially in speaking classes. Most of them claim to take action on how to respond to students' problems, such as understanding classroom management strategies, organizing, problem-solving, and applying teaching strategies. These strategies have a positive impact on learning engagement in the classroom, such as the students being more interested in learning English lessons, obeying the rules, talking actively, and having motivation.

This research aims to describe the characteristics of mathematics learning tools and produce valid, practical and effective mathematics learning tools using the Peer Instruction with Structured Inquiry (PISI) method based on local culture which is oriented towards mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is development research using the ADDIE development model. Data analysis was carried out in this research to determine the feasibility of the development product in terms of the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the learning tools being developed. The research results show that 1. mathematics learning tools using the PISI method based on local culture oriented towards mathematical problem solving abilities have several characteristics, namely: a) Learning activities carried out using the PISI method stage consist of 2 parts, namely Peer Instruction which indirectly leads to the Structured Inquiry stage; b) The problem investigated in learning is a problem with the local cultural context of Ciamis; c) The use of local cultural context makes the mathematical knowledge concepts obtained by students become more meaningful and students become aware of the importance of mathematics because mathematical concepts are also found in students' daily activities; d) The instrument used in assessing learning outcomes is in the form of mathematical problem solving ability test questions. 2. Mathematics learning tools using the PISI method based on local culture are oriented towards mathematical problem solving abilities that meet the criteria of being valid, practical and effective.

This study aimed to improve students’ speaking skills using Sims Freeplay through action research based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes five steps: reconnaissance, planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 29 students from class XI-1 of a senior high school in Yogyakarta, consisting of 12 females and 17 males. Qualitative data were collected through observations and interviews, while quantitative data were gathered using pre-tests and post-tests. Data analysis involved five steps: assembling, coding, comparing, interpreting, and reporting the outcomes. The validity of the data was measured using democratic, outcomes, process, catalytic, and dialogic validity, while reliability was ensured through time triangulation. The results showed improvements in students’ speaking skills, with mean scores increasing from the pre-test (12.28) to post-test cycle I (13.28) and post-test cycle II (14.31), reflecting an 8% increase in cycle I and 9% in cycle II. Reflection from cycle I revealed improvements in vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation, grammar, and sentence organization. Anxiety levels decreased from a mean score of 14.87 to 12.66, while motivation increased from 17.21 to 20.20. Sims Freeplay proved to be an effective and engaging tool for learning English, significantly enhancing students’ speaking skills and creating a positive learning experience.

This study aims to develop Group Investigation (GI)-based teaching materials to enhance the critical thinking skills of vocational high school (SMK) students in understanding and solving problems related to composition functions. Using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the research produced teaching materials validated by subject matter experts, ensuring their quality, relevance, and alignment with curriculum objectives. Through GI stages—grouping, planning, investigation, organizing, presenting, and evaluating—students not only deepened their understanding of composition functions but also developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The findings highlight contribute to the development of innovative teaching materials and provide a foundation for transforming mathematics education into a more practical and effective discipline, particularly for vocational students.

The motivation effect to the employee work at mining department in department of mining and energy of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, according to the research result and data analysis result can be known theoretically to know account result with product moment correlation formula gotten correlation score as 0.933. this result include into very strong interpretation category, according to the interpretation table of correlation score, the account result can be concluded that there is positive and significant relation between motivation variable and employee ability variable to the Department of mining and energy of Kutai Kartanegara that motivation has effect to the employee work in Department of mining and energy of Kutai Kartanegara Regency accepted because of the truth has been proven. ABSTRAK Tanito Harum, Incorporated is a national coal mining company , which located and having area territory in Loa Tebu, Tenggarong City, Kutai Kartanegara Regency which has been operated since 1980. As one of national coal mining company which is big enough , where the territory and location / its area located in kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara area, definitely this national coal mining company have consequence and responsibility to the society surroundings. Because commonly that coal mining company is not only orientate to the profit itself, but also to build, to effort, and to prosper the society, bring the change to the society surroundings.
