Abstract

Sebagai salah satu hasil budaya masyarakat, potensi kuliner daerah perlu dile- starikan, salah satunya adalah kuliner Khas Gresik. Terdapat lebih dari 200 jenis makanan khas Gresik yang setengah diantaranya telah punah. Menurut hasil survey yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, sebanyak lebih dari 60% anak-anak usia 7-11 tahun di Gresik tidak dapat mendefinisikan jenis makanan khas Gresik. Fenomena ini diperparah dengan data bahwa 90% anak-anak tersebut lebih mengenal makanan modern yang merupakan makanan asing. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti merancang buku cerita bergambar ‘Petualangan Anak Pesisir: Ksatria Masin’ untuk memperkenalkan makanan khas Gresik kepada generasi penerus, yaitu anak-anak asli Gresik. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini terbagi atas tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pra-desain, desain, dan post-desain. Hasil perancangan ini adalah purwarupa buku cerita bergambar beserta media pendukungnya dan tahap uji cobanya.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to strengthen the competitiveness of the Puri Farm Living association in Tuban Regency, which operates in the dairy goat farming sector. The main challenges faced were the limited market for fresh goat milk, low shelf life, and high competition among farmers following the Covid-19 pandemic. To address these issues, diversification of derivative products such as kefir, crackers, and goat milk soap was carried out. This diversification aimed to increase added value, expand the market, and improve the sustainability of farmers' businesses. The methods used included problem identification, technology transfer, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed an increase in partners' skills in processing goat milk into value-added products, an increase in selling prices from IDR 25,000–30,000 per liter to IDR 40,000–50,000 per liter, and the opening of marketing opportunities through marketplaces and social media. Thus, this program not only impacted Puri Farm Living's economy but also strengthened local-based MSMEs.Keywords: Up to six keywords should also be included.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Nyai Rara Kidul’s meaning through two Kadita skins in Mobile Legends: Ocean Goddess (2018) and Heart of the Sea (2024). Roland Barthes’s semiotic approach is employed to analyse the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings embedded in the skin illustrations. The findings reveal that Ocean Goddess maintains a close symbolic association with Nyai Rara Kidul through its representation of Javanese femininity, dominant use of green, kemben-style costume, and the title “Queen of the Southern Seas.” In contrast, Heart of the Sea reframes Nyai Rara Kidul through the visual identity of a Balinese woman and transforms the dark and threatening marine atmosphere into one that is bright, warm, and tropical, while retaining a sense of danger. Both skins recontextualise the sacred figure of Nyai Rara Kidul as a fantasy avatar that can be controlled, played, and commercially exchanged. This transformation demonstrates how Mobile Legends mediates Nyai Rara Kidul’s identity through Kadita, presenting it not as fixed or singular but as continuously evolving.
