Abstract

Kreativitas adalah kemampuan untuk mempergunakan imajenasi dari berbagai kemungkinan yang diperoleh dari interaksi dan ide atau gagasan orang lain untuk membuat koneksi, mendapatkan hasil baru dan bermakna. Oleh karena itu guru perlu mengembangkankreativitas pada saat membuat media pembelajaran. Pelatihan media pembelajaran berbantuan Geo-Gebra guru TK YP Tridaya Mandiri bertujuan memberikan motivasi dan arahan membuat media pembelajaran yang kreatif.  Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Mei terdiri dari 7 orang peserta dalam bentuk workshop. Evaluasi pelatihan dengan memberikan tugas membuat animasi gerak sesuai ide peserta pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh kreativitas guru sangat signifikan. Berdasarkanobservasi pada saat proses pelatihan diperoleh gambaran tentang  motivasi dan antusias peserta pelatihan sangat baik.

Abstract

The rapid development of Science and Technology has now been widely used in various fields of life, especially in the field of education, specifically in the field of Mathematics. The increasing development of educational technology makes the use of online-based teaching materials an important component in the learning process in higher education. Of course, this is expected to influence the progress of student academic achievement. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research which aims to analyze the relationship between the use of online-based teaching materials and student academic achievement. The method used in this research involves analysis with two methods, namely Pearson and Spearman correlation. Both methods aim to measure the strength and direction of the relationship between two variables, namely the use of online teaching materials and student academic achievement. The Pearson correlation method is used for data that meets the normal distribution assumption, while the Spearman correlation is used for data that does not meet the normality assumption. The research sample was taken from students who actively used online teaching materials during one semester. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between the intensity of use of online-based teaching materials and student academic achievement. The Pearson correlation value shows a positive linear relationship between the two variables with a value of 0.744. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of online-based teaching materials has strong potential to improve student academic achievement, with a significance value for the strength of the relationship between variables of 0.027.

Abstract

Cognitive conflict is a condition where students encounter new experiences that are not neatly arranged in their cognitive structure. The process of assimilation between old and new concepts in students' cognition. The assimilation process is more effective when done together with peer tutors. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of cognitive conflict on collaborative mathematical problem solving and its effect on individual learning success. Case study research methods, descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Learning is carried out to 28 semester II students collaboratively in solving integral problems. Pretest knowing the initial ability of mathematics, given the problem of integral functions of fractional powers. Given posttest independently. In the learning process students with low initial abilities and difficult to ask questions with peer tutors dare to ask information that has just been received with the help of students with moderate and high initial abilities. Cognitive conflict strategies with peer tutors are very useful. The impact of the experience of peer tutors, posttest results is very significant. This means that the posttest results increased significantly for the material of integral functions of fractional powers and motivation to learn for the better.

Abstract

Nilai-nilai luhur yang ada dalam kearifan lokal (local wisdom) dapat memperkuat jati diri bangsa dan menanamkan kecintaan terhadap bangsa serta negara. Hal itu disebabkan kearifan lokal diambil dari nilai-nilai luhur yang ada di dalam masyarakat itu sendiri. Matematika sering dianggap pelajaran yang sulit dan menakutkan bagi siswa, sehingga menimbulkan sikap malas belajar, tidak senang dan merasa menjadi beban yang berat bagi siswa. Matematika adalah sebagai salah satu ilmu dasar, baik dari aspek terapannya maupun penalarannya, mempunyai perananan penting dalam upaya penguasaan ilmu dan teknologi. Untuk itu, matematika di sekolah perlu difungsikan sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkembangkan kecerdasan, kemampuan, keterampilan untuk membentuk kepribadian siswa. Matematika harus dihubungkan dengan kenyataan, berada dekat dengan siswa dan relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat agar memiliki nilai manusiawi. Materi matematika harus dapat ditransmisikan sebagai aktivitas manusia. Namun, konsep-konsep matematika yang diajarkan, dirasakan jauh dari kehidupan siswa sehari-hari. Pada saat yang sama, pentingnya penguatan pendidikan karakter diperlukan seiring dengan melemahnya karakter bangsa.
