Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between stress levels and noise exposure among furniture workers. This study is an analytical descriptive research with a cross-sectional study design approach. The research location is at a furniture workshop in the Pahandut Seberang area of Palangka Raya. The study population consists of all workers in the furniture workshop in Pahandut Seberang and residents within a 100-meter radius of the workshop, who are considered to be at risk of noise exposure. The sample for this study was taken using a random sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-square test, with a confidence level of 95% (p = 0.05), and the results are considered significant if p ≤ 0.05. The results showed p < 0.05, with a p-value of 0.004, indicating that there is a significant relationship between noise exposure and stress levels among workers and residents in the furniture workshop area of Pahandut Seberang. This result suggests that exposure to noise above 85 dBA may have a significant impact on stress levels in this population.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Medication adherence among individuals with hypertension has long been recognized as a central determinant of successful blood pressure control and the prevention of complications. Over the past decade, research on this topic has expanded across numerous journals, yet the approaches and analytical angles used in these studies often differ, making it difficult to discern how the field has evolved. This study aims to map the scientific landscape related to factors influencing medication adherence in hypertension during the period 2015–2025. A bibliometric approach was applied using Scopus as the primary data source, retrieved through Publish or Perish with a set of keywords related to medication adherence and hypertension. All eligible articles were exported in RIS format and analyzed using VOSviewer to identify term distribution, thematic clusters, and conceptual linkages. Descriptive analyses were conducted to examine document types, annual publication trends, journal sources, and the most frequently cited articles. Most documents were original research articles, followed by review papers, with publication activity peaking between 2015 and 2018. Cardiovascular journals such as Hypertension, Journal of Hypertension, and JACC appeared as the major outlets. Term mapping generated three prominent clusters representing clinical domains, patient-behavioral aspects, and technology-based interventions. The highest-cited publications were largely composed of clinical guidelines and large-scale interventional studies. Overall, the findings illustrate that research on medication adherence in hypertension remains strongly rooted in biomedical perspectives, while behavioral and digital approaches are emerging but have not yet become dominant. Keywords: Medication Adherence, Hypertension, Bibliometrics, Scopus, VOSviewer.
