Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to obtain data on the provision of stimuli that cause negative emotions affect the choice of words. The sampling technique used to select samples is simple random design, which is a sampling technique where each member of the population has the same opportunity to be taken as a sample. From the results of the study obtained P = 0,000. Because P <α, then H0 is rejected, or in other words there is a difference in the score of the number of correct answers between the control group and the experimental group at the Psychology Faculty student of University X. From the results of data processing obtained, with a 95% confidence level, it is found that the null hypothesis submitted was rejected. This shows that giving a stimulus that causes negative emotions affects the choice of words for students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of X. So, it can be concluded that the provision of video as a stimulus that causes negative emotions influences the choice of words for students of the University of X Psychology Faculty. Keywords: negative emotions, early adulthood, word selection, video AbstrakMaksud dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data mengenai pemberian stimulus yang menimbulkan emosi negatif berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan kata. Teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk memilih sampel yaitu simple random design, yang merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel dimana setiap anggota populasi memiliki peluang yang sama untuk diambil sebagai sampel. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan P=0,000. Karena P < α, maka H0 ditolak, atau dengan kata lain terdapat perbedaan skor jumlah jawaban yang benar antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen pada mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas X. Dari hasil pengolahan data yang diperoleh, dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%, didapatkan bahwa hipotesa nol yang diajukan ditolak. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa, pemberian stimulus yang menimbulkan emosi negatif berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan kata pada mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas X. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian video sebagai stimulus yang menimbulkan emosi negatif berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan kata pada mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas X. Kata kunci : emosi negatif, dewasa awal, pemilihan kata, video

Abstract

Terdapat 16000 mahasiswa Tionghoa yang belajar di Rusia per tahun yang mengalami berbagai kesulitan karena perbedaan budaya Rusia dan Tionghoa. dan membangun asimilator budaya bagi mahasiswa Cina yang belajar di Rusia. Ada lima tahap konstruksi asimilator budaya: pemilihan situasi konflik, konstruksi insiden kritis, pemilihan atribusi, konstruksi “atribusi yang salah”, konstruksi asimilator budaya. Tahap pertama pengembangan asimilator budaya, analisis literatur, telah dilakukan yang mengungkapkan 10 perbedaan antara gaya komunikasi Rusia dan Cina yang dapat memprediksi insiden kritis. 10 perbedaan ini harus digunakan dalam menyusun panduan wawancara untuk mengkonfirmasi apakah insiden kritis yang ditentukan secara teoritis dapat terjadi dalam kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

Based on the experience of researchers as counselors in dealing with women's life problems, one of the problems experienced by women is divorce that occurs because they are considered to be a person who can be humiliated, not allowed to work, isolated from home affairs and child care without regard to his personal needs as a woman , and other treatments that are considered and felt to be unfair to a woman. That experience makes them forced to divorce and continue their lives by striving to be a person who does everything normal men do, such as working and participating in the social world. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of women's behavior in an attempt to become a self (becoming the self) in the midst of the divorce issues they experienced through four women who had experienced divorce as a sample in this study. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method that will provide a complete picture of the process of women in their efforts to become themselves. The results showed that women who are engaged in their efforts to become the self are women who want gender equality through several ways, namely by working and actively participating in social activities or social organizations.   Keyword: woman, divorce woman, the self
