Abstract

Imam al Ghazali as Islamic Scholar expert in the field of ushul fiqh, His thoughts in the field of ushul serve as a reference throughout the world and also in Indonesia for centuries. He is also one of the scholar who uses Mashlahah al-mursalah approach results in ijtihad. He formulates in the methodology in his famous books include Al-Mustashfa, Syifa'ul Ghalil and al-Mankhul on the provisions of the use mashlahah al mursalah. In addition al Ghazali also formulated a concept of state. The concept of state formulated by al Ghazali stands on the basis of the theory of interdependency and the theory of theo-democracy. In the concept of statehood, we find that al Ghazali uses the principle of Mashlahah as the basis or reference in the built of state. Al Ghazali in the concept of theo-democracy using Mashlahah al Mursalah as the basis of law in order to build people's sovereign State by using the principles of divinity (Mabadi Rabbaniyah). The concept of theo-democracy, is a concept of a moderate state (tawashutiyyan), which is not in the form of God State (theocracy) or Secular state, but it is in the middle between that two models of the State, namely the State which remain within the corridor etiquette and principles of divinity yet at the same time provide a soverignity in technical life of a country to a nation. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the concept of savings in the form of wadi'ah contract practices in Savings Products at Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Tangerang Balaraja, before the merger of BSM with other Islamic banks. The contract of safekeeping of goods or money between the party who owns the goods or money and the party who is entrusted with the aim of maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of the goods or money is allowed. This is explained by the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 01-02/DSN-MUI/IV/2002 that savings and demand deposits (without deposits) are allowed using wadiah contracts. The method used in this research is qualitative, with in-depth interview data collection techniques and content analysis. The findings in this study are the practice of wadiah contracts at Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Tangerang Balaraja, fulfilling the provisions of the DSN MUI fatwa and also complying with applicable legal rules. However, the wadiah concept that exists in BSM is still not fully understood by customers, this certainly affects the performance of the BSM.

Abstract

The foundation of Muslim consumer behavior is different from conventional consumers. This paper aims to find out how the consumption factor is in an Islamic perspective and its differences in a conventional perspective. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study for data collection. Conventional consumers emphasize maximum satisfaction and efforts to fulfill needs and desires without restrictions. In contrast to Muslim consumers who have limitations in their consumption activities and strive to achieve optimal maslahah levels. Humans as rational man in conventional economics, and as Islamic man in Islamic economics. This also results in a difference between needs and wants.

Abstract

Indonesia's development into a world halal industry in the field of Muslim fashion continues to increase as Indonesia's Muslim population reaches 87%. The aim of the research is to determine the potential for developing the halal e-commerce industry in Indonesia. The results of the research are that halal e-commerce can be a solution to encourage the development of the halal industry, with the availability of halal e-commerce making it easier for producers to transact and market their products online. The SWOT analysis shows that halal e-commerce in the Muslim fashion sector to encourage the development of the halal industry in Indonesia is found from internal factors, the strength of the number of influencers and artists who wear Muslim fashion, the number of internet users, teenagers and children. For internal factors, it was found that the majority of Indonesia's population is 87% Muslim, awareness of Muslims dressing according to Islamic law. The threat of many competing countries, the lack of uniformity of internationally agreed halal certificates, the minimal level of knowledge about the market for MSME players means that many still sell offline.

Abstract

The evolution of Islamic management practices has significantly transformed from the classical to contemporary eras, demonstrating adaptability to social, economic, and global changes while adhering to Islamic principles such as faith, charity, and musawarah. This study aims to analyze the evolution of Islamic management practices and how Islam can be integrated into modern management practices. The research methodology uses qualitative research with literature and relevant sources to analyze the development and contributions of Islamic management practices over time. The findings show that Islamic management not only has relevance in Islamic business but also contributes to conventional management through ethics, value-based leadership, transparency, and accountability. Despite challenges in implementation, such as lack of standard standards and compliance with conventional business, this evolution highlights the importance of Islamic management in addressing global dynamics and creating an organization that supports and guides the Islamic community.

Abstract

Ekonomi syariah pada saat ini semakin meningkat aktivitasnya, baik dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. Tumbuhnya perbankan syariah di Indonesia menjadi indikasi serta memberikan stimulus kepada masyarakat tentang alternatif keuangan yang lebh adil dan distributif. Demi menjamin kelanjutan ekonomi di negara Indonesia maka dibentuklah peraturan, agar tidak terjadi monopoli atau perilaku kecurangan lainnya yang dapat merugikan salah satu pihak baik kreditur maupun debitur. Pengadilan Agama merupakan lembaga yang bertanggung jawab dalam menangani sengketa perbankan syariah. Penulisan artikel ini menerapkan penelitian yuridis-normatif, yang menggunakan data sekunder sebagai sumber utma objek penelitian. Sebagai lembaga diluar hierarki perundang-undangan, fatwa yang dikeluarkan DSN bersifat bersifat tidak mengikat namun dapat ddigunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam memutus sebua perkara oleh hakim.

Abstract

This research discusses the thoughts on Islamic economic growth and conventional economics according to the figures, namely Abū Yūsuf, Abū Ubaid, Al-Ghazāli, Ibn Khaldūn, As-Syatibi, Monzer Khaf, Adam Smith, David Ricardo, J.M. Keynes, Alfred Marshall, and W.W. Rostow from a historical approach where his thoughts on the discourse of economic growth are quite a lot of references by researchers and academics of the world. The research method used in this article uses a literature review of the figure's work because what is discussed is a comparison of thoughts that have contributed to science through his works that have been used as references by subsequent generations. Based on the results and discussion of the thoughts of Islamic economic growth and conventional economics, it can be concluded that, in general, economists state that economic growth aims to achieve human prosperity by meeting the satisfaction needs of consuming goods and services. Meanwhile, according to Islamic figures, economic growth must refer to the basic principles of Sharia to achieve prosperity in the world and the hereafter (al-falāh). This study also discusses the concept of factors that affect economic growth.
