Abstract

Climate change regarding global warming threatens human life on earth, so there needs to be solutions from various parties to reduce the negative effects of climate change. Implementing these principles in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia still needs to improve understanding, policies, and implementation in the field. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the implementation of Green Schools in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, identifying factors that support and hinder its implementation. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach—data collection techniques using document analysis from research results published in national and international journals. Data analysis is done through data condensation, data display, and verification. The green school program is a program that must be implemented in educational institutions. Green schools and green buildings can improve teacher performance and academic achievement. Various Islamic educational institutions have carried out green school programs; some have received Adiwiyata awards from the Indonesian Government. However, Islamic education institutions still need to implement green schools properly. Islamic educational institutions should consistently implement green school programs in their respective institutions to reduce climate change's negative effects. Perubahan iklim dan pemanasan global mengancam kehidupan manusia, sehingga diperlukan solusi dari berbagai pihak untuk mengurangi dampak negatifnya. Salah satu solusi adalah program green school di lembaga pendidikan, termasuk di lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Namun, implementasi program ini masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama terkait pemahaman, kebijakan, dan pelaksanaan di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi green school di lembaga pendidikan Islam, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan teknik analisis dokumen dari jurnal nasional dan internasional. Program green school memiliki manfaat, seperti meningkatkan kinerja guru dan prestasi akademik siswa. Walau beberapa lembaga telah meraih penghargaan Adiwiyata, konsistensi penerapan di lembaga pendidikan Islam perlu ditingkatkan untuk mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education learning has not achieved maximum goals, and many sides of knowledge that must be improved. Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung (UMB) is a university that has a unique curriculum for learning Islamic Religious Education by adjusting the central curriculum. This paper aims to describe the learning of Islamic Religious Education at Muhammadiyah Bandung University in developing Islamic Religious Education learning in Indonesian universities. The method used in this research uses qualitative methods through data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The results showed that the Muhammadiyah University of Bandung has a unique model of learning Islamic Religious Education called Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK). This model was developed to solve the problem of learning Islamic Religious Education that is common in universities in Indonesia. Therefore, the AIK model at the Muhammadiyah University of Bandung can be an alternative to Islamic Education learning in other universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mahabbah, derived from the root word habba, refers to a profound emotional attachment and enduring devotion of a servant to God, representing a central element of Islamic spirituality. Closely associated with Lailatul Qadar, the holiest night during the last ten days of Ramadan, mahabbah functions not only as a personal expression of divine love but also as a foundation for collective religious consciousness and social responsibility. This study aims to examine how the members of the Majelis Dhikr at Nurul Huda Mosque in Kampung Kudang, Bandung, cultivate love for Allah through consistent religious gatherings and communal engagement, particularly in preparation for Lailatul Qadar. Using a qualitative descriptive method supported by interviews and documentation, the findings reveal that the practices of dhikr, Qur'anic learning, and social initiatives significantly influence the moral character and behavior of the participants, fostering a culture of compassion, solidarity, and mutual assistance. This integration of spiritual devotion with social action illustrates how religious values can shape a transformative community life. The study concludes that a sustained approach to Lailatul Qadar through structured communal worship contributes to deeper spiritual awareness and reinforces a socially engaged religious identity within contemporary Muslim society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Metode Qoidah Nuroniyyah terhadap ketepatan makhraj bacaan Al-Qur’an anak TPQ usia sekolah dasar. Ketepatan makhraj merupakan aspek penting dalam membaca Al-Qur’an karena kesalahan dalam pelafalan huruf hijaiyah dapat memengaruhi makna dan kesempurnaan bacaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang sistematis dan terstruktur untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelafalan sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment melalui model pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Qur’an Ar Royan, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan, dengan subjek sebanyak 20 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an yang difokuskan pada ketepatan makhraj huruf hijaiyah sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 60 meningkat menjadi 87 pada posttest. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,001 pada taraf α = 0,05, sehingga p < α dan hipotesis nol ditolak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Metode Qoidah Nuroniyyah efektif dalam meningkatkan ketepatan makhraj bacaan Al-Qur’an. Metode yang disusun secara bertahap dan menekankan latihan artikulasi terbukti membantu peserta didik melafalkan huruf sesuai kaidah tajwid secara lebih tepat dan konsisten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep tarbiyah (pendidikan) dan hati (qalb) dalam perspektif Islam serta keterkaitan keduanya dalam pembinaan keimanan. Tarbiyah dalam Islam tidak hanya dimaknai sebagai proses transfer ilmu, tetapi sebagai proses pembinaan bertahap menuju kesempurnaan akhlak, iman, dan amal. Hati dipandang sebagai pusat kesadaran spiritual dan penentu kualitas keimanan seseorang. Oleh karena itu, kondisi hati—baik lembut, sakit, maupun keras—menjadi faktor utama dalam keberhasilan pendidikan ruhani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari sumber-sumber primer berupa Al-Qur’an, hadis Nabi ﷺ, serta kitab-kitab tafsir dan karya ulama klasik, serta didukung oleh literatur sekunder yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan melalui teknik analisis isi (content analysis) untuk mengkaji dalil-dalil dan penjelasan ulama secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerasnya hati disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya banyak berbicara tanpa dzikir, ingkar janji, banyak tertawa, banyak makan, serta banyak melakukan dosa. Adapun pelembut hati meliputi memperbanyak dzikir dan membaca Al-Qur’an, menyayangi anak yatim, mengingat kematian, berziarah kubur, mengambil pelajaran dari umat terdahulu, serta menjaga kehalalan makanan. Dengan demikian, tarbiyah yang berorientasi pada pembinaan hati menjadi kunci utama dalam membentuk pribadi muslim yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This qualitative library research examines the ethical foundations and learning strategies for seekers of knowledge as articulated by Muhammad bin Ṣāliḥ Al-Utsaimin in Kitab al-Ilm. Using content analysis, the study systematically codes thematic units related to intention, discipline, reverence for scholars, epistemic verification, and pedagogical method. The findings reveal twelve interconnected ethical principles that function not merely as moral guidance but as an integrated epistemic framework. These include sincerity of intention, commitment to acting upon knowledge, respect for scholarly authority, patience in learning, intellectual humility, and verification of information. Complementing these ethical foundations are practical strategies such as prioritizing foundational knowledge, structured study routines, memorization and revision (murāja’ah), guided mentorship (mulāzamah), and selective academic companionship. The study argues that Al-Utsaimin’s framework represents a holistic model of Islamic pedagogy in which ethics and methodology are inseparable. In contemporary digital learning environments characterized by information overload and academic shortcuts, this framework offers a morally grounded and methodologically rigorous alternative capable of strengthening academic integrity and character formation among Generation Z learners.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the question-and-answer method and its contribution to strengthening akidah among junior high school students in Islamic Religious Education. Recent discussions on dialogic pedagogy emphasize that structured classroom dialogue and intentional questioning can foster deeper meaning-making and reflective reasoning. This research employed a qualitative case study design conducted in two Grade Eight classes at a junior high school in West Java. Data were collected through classroom observations across six learning sessions, semi-structured interviews with the teacher, focus group discussions with students, and analysis of instructional documents and student reflections. The data were analysed using reflexive thematic analysis involving familiarisation, coding, theme development, and interpretative synthesis. The findings reveal that the question-and-answer method contributed to the strengthening of students’ akidah through three interrelated mechanisms: dialogic openness for clarification, reasoning-based questioning that supports meaning construction, and corrective feedback that maintains doctrinal accuracy while encouraging participation. Observable developments included clearer articulation of the pillars of faith, more coherent reasoning when linking belief to daily decisions, and emerging reflective tendencies in written responses. The study concludes that dialogically structured questioning, when combined with supportive classroom climate and clear doctrinal anchoring, can serve as an effective pedagogical approach to fostering both conceptual understanding and reflective engagement in akidah education.
