Abstract

Aims: This literature review aims to theoretically analyze the rationale for developing this electronic application to cover all aspects of adolescent mental health life and as a promotive and preventive tool for adolescents with alcohol abusers. Methods: The literature review method was carried out on ten articles which were obtained from five databases namely PUBMED, Google Scholar, ClinicalKey Nursing, ProQuest, Science Direct. The keywords for article search were "FAST (Fast alcohol screening test)", "electronic-based nursing care", "alcohol abuse", "adolescent". The criteria for articles considered included articles available in English and Indonesian and published between 2017 and 2023. Results: This review shows that the use of FAST and electronic-based nursing care can improve the quality of nursing care. Conclusion: The utilization of technology in the screening test process and electronic based nursing care in nursing care is one of the alternative problem solving and especially can improve the quality of nursing care.

Abstract

Background: IDWG (Intradialytic Weight Gain) is one of the indicators to evaluate the biological value of weight change between the time of dialysis whose value is influenced by patient adherence to limit the intake of fluids and foods high in sodium, while potassium, sodium, albumin, urea and creatinine is an indicator of blood biochemical values whose value is influenced by patient adherence to limit the intake of nutrients. Objectives: Hospital hemodialysis unit Bekasi Methods: The sample was selected using the technique of Non-Probability Sampling or non-random sampling with purposive sampling method, and came up with 73 respondents. Results: Data collection was done through two types of data namely primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained from the questionnaires A and B by the respondent directly and secondary data obtained from the results of direct measurements by researchers that IDWG and blood biochemistry values obtained from the patient laboratory results. The results showed a significant relationship between the level of compliance yng patients for limiting the intake of fluids and nutrients to the IDWG, potassium, sodium, albumin, urea and creatinine with P Value successively ie, p = 0.0005; p = 0.020; p = 0.008; p = 0.013; p = 0.002; p = 0.004 with a = 0.05. Conclusion: of this study can be used in planning interventions appropriate education, in order to prevent and decrease the physical deterioration of the condition of patients on dialysis due to less or no maximum to limit fluid intake and nutrition.

Abstract

Background: Substance use disorder (SUD) remains a major public health concern, with high relapse rates following detoxification treatment. Psychosocial factors such as self-efficacy, resilience, and social support may influence relapse outcomes, yet their roles remain underexplored in Indonesia. Objective: This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-efficacy, resilience, social support, and relapse tendency among Indonesians with SUD. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at a rehabilitation center in Jakarta, Indonesia. Participants (n = 200; mean age = 37.56 ± 5.89 years) were adults (≥18 years) diagnosed with SUD by a psychiatrist. Standardized questionnaires assessed social support, self-efficacy, resilience, and relapse tendency. Correlation and mediation analyses were performed using bootstrapping with 5,000 samples (95% CI). Results: Social support was negatively correlated with relapse tendency (r = –0.42, p < 0.01), while self-efficacy and resilience were significant mediators in this relationship. The direct effect of social support accounted for 58% of the total effect, and the indirect effect through self-efficacy and resilience accounted for 37.34%. Conclusions: Higher social support reduces relapse risk, partly by enhancing self-efficacy and resilience. Strengthening these factors could be a key strategy in relapse prevention programs for Indonesians with SUD.
