Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e-money dan marketplace terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa di Kota Medan. Permasalahan utama yang dikaji adalah apakah penggunaan e-money dan marketplace secara signifikan memengaruhi perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 mahasiswa dari tiga universitas swasta di Kota Medan, yaitu Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, dan Universitas Al-Washliyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan e-money dan marketplace terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa sebesar 66,7%, dan perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa yang ditimbulkan dalam penggunaan e-money dan marketplace adalah tidak mempertimbangkan fungsi/kegunaaan, mengonsumsi barang secara berlebihan, mendahulukan keinginan daripada kebutuhan, dan tidak ada skala prioritas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan transaksi digital, diskon, cashback, dan metode pembayaran fleksibel seperti paylater mendorong mahasiswa untuk melakukan pembelian impulsif dan konsumsi yang tidak selalu berdasarkan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya peningkatan literasi keuangan di kalangan mahasiswa agar mereka dapat lebih bijak dalam mengelola keuangan di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of tax revenue sharing funds and nontax revenue sharing funds on balancing funds in North Sumatra Province in a quantitative descriptive manner. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS statistics 25 application. The results of this research show that the tax revenue sharing fund variable does have a significant effect on balancing funds seen from tcount > ttable (6,438 > 1.895) and the significant level is greater than 0.05 (0.468 > 0.05), and the research results of the variable non-tax profit sharing funds/SDA have effect on balancing funds seen from tcount > ttable (2,339 >1.895) and the significance level is greater than 0.05 (9,425 > 0.05). The research results together show that the tax profit sharing fund variable and the non-tax profit sharing fund variable have effect on balancing funds seen from the value of Fcount > Ftable (1.036 < 4,74).

Abstract

Financial literacy is the knowledge, skills and beliefs that influence attitudes and behaviors to improve the quality of decision-making and financial management to achieve public financial welfare. The understanding of financial literacy is one of the things that must be strengthened so that people can become wiser in making financial decisions. The results of observations and interviews conducted in Kelurahan Tanah Enam Ratus, Medan Marelan Subdistrict, we describe how many children spend their money to play online games on mobile applications, even they are not aware of topping up games repeatedly. This community service activity aims to provide an understanding of financial literacy and integrity from an early age, so as to improve the quality of students' insights, knowledge, value skills and attitudes. The implementation of this service at Harapan Bangsa Islamic Elementary School, Neighborhood VI, Tanah Enam Hundred Village. The students will be taught to learn independently and practice not relying on their parents from an early age through saving habits. The method used is through observation, interviews and theoretical presentation and training which begins with an explanation related to financial literacy and integrity. Direct explanation and training to students through financial literacy simulations by saving money carried out for seven days by putting it into each envelope. The implementation of financial literacy activities for students in schools to build integrity is expected to produce a generation that can manage their finances wisely and form individuals to be responsible and trustworthy. This service is expected to improve financial literacy and integrity attitudes so as to foster students' interest in saving from an early age and teach discipline and careful planning as well as increasing awareness to achieve success in the future.
