Abstract

Lingkungan wisata belanja di Trans Studio Mall Bandung menggunakan rambu grafis lingkungan berbasis pengalaman atau Experiential Graphic Design sebagai sarana identitas lokasi dan petunjuk arah. Berdasarkan teori EGD, keberadaan rambu informasi (signage) di TSM Bandung belum cukup mengikuti kaidah yang benar dalam rancang bangunnya, baik itu petunjuk informasi maupun identitas lokasi yang terkait dengan brand idetity. Kajian evaluasi kualitas perancangan rambu informasi (signage) Trans Studio Mall Bandung menjadi gambaran untuk membuat rancangan yang lebih baik lagi di masa mendatang hingga integrasi papan rambu dengan lingkungan dan brand dari mall dapat terwujud lebih baik. Kata Kunci: rambu, grafis, petunjuk arah.  AbstraCT The shopping environment in Trans Studio Mall Bandung uses experiential graphics based on experience or Experiential Graphic Design as a means of location identity and directions. Based on the theory of EGD, the existence of information signage in TSM Bandung is not enough to follow the correct rules in the design of experiential graphics visual, whether it is information instructions or location identity associated with brand identity. The evaluation of the quality of information signage design of Trans Studio Mall Bandung becomes an illustration to make better design in the future until the integration of signs with the environment and brand from the mall can be realized better. Keywords: signs, graphics, directions.

Abstract

Abstract Observing an Ameriquest ad impressions from which to build a certain perception of consumers in the United States by taking the cultural background and customs of American society in interpreting a visual impression made Ameriquest to give its ad message that states that they give loans with a positive outlook on prospective customers. Studies in this ad shows the strength of the frame that compose the story so that it can be perceived correctly by the audience who was not even from American society itself. Keywords: frame, visual perception   Abstrak Mencermati suatu tayangan iklan dari Ameriquest yang membangun persepsi tertentu pada konsumennya di Amerika dengan mengambil latar belakang budaya dan kebiasaan masyarakat Amerika dalam menginterpretasikan sebuah tayangan visual membuat Ameriquest dapat memberi pesan iklannya yang menyatakan bahwa mereka memberi pinjaman dengan pandangan positif pada calon nasabahnya. Kajian pada iklan ini memperlihatkan kekuatan dari frame yang merangkai kisah tersebut sehingga dapat dipersepsikan dengan tepat oleh penonton yang bahkan bukan dari masyarakat Amerika itu sendiri. Abstract

There are many ways and efforts to make cafes become the main destination of the audience, including One Eighty Coffee which strives for space design and experience that will be obtained by its customers so that becomes the pride of anyone who can attend and capture it on social media. Each corner of the interior space is designed in such a way that it is unique so that the images will be obtained from an instgramable photo session. An unforgettable experience that deserves to be captured on the customer’s preferred social media, especially on Instagram.Keywords: Instagramable, Design Interactive, Café_______________________________________________________________  Banyak cara dan upaya agar café menjadi tujuan utama para penikmatnya, tidak terkecuali One Eighty Coffee yang mengupayakan desain ruang beserta pengalaman yang akan diperoleh pelanggannya agar cukup instagramable serta menjadi kebanggaan siapa saja yang bisa hadir serta mengabadikannya di media sosial. Abstract

Laporan ini menguraikan pengalaman magang penulis di Alfamidi sebagai seorang Marketing Promotion Designer. Alfamidi, sebuah jaringan ritel terkemuka di Indonesia, menawarkan beragam produk kebutuhan sehari-hari dengan jangkauan yang luas. Sebagai Marketing Promotion Designer, penulis bertanggung jawab merancang strategi promosi yang kreatif dan efektif untuk meningkatkan brand awareness serta penjualan produk di pasar yang kompetitif. Dalam laporan ini, penulis memaparkan proses kerja sehari-hari, tantangan yang dihadapi, dan pencapaian yang diraih selama masa magang di Alfamidi. Dilakukan analisis kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi promosi yang dikembangkan oleh penulis, serta dampaknya terhadap citra merek dan kinerja penjualan perusahaan. Pembelajaran yang diperoleh selama magang, termasuk peningkatan keterampilan dalam merancang kampanye promosi dan pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang perilaku konsumen, juga didiskusikan. Diharapkan, laporan ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga tentang peran seorang Marketing Promotion Designer dalam mengembangkan strategi promosi yang berdampak bagi pertumbuhan bisnis di industri ritel.

Abstract

A healthy and harmonious relationship is essential for creating warmth within a family. However, the quality of interaction between parents and children is often overlooked, which can significantly impact a child's mental health and habits. A lack of effective communication and understanding of appropriate parenting approaches can affect this relationship, especially in the child’s emotional development. This documentary aims to raise public awareness, particularly among parents, about the effects of less harmonious parent-child relationships on the mental health of teenagers. The documentary seeks to rekindle the feelings of love, safety, and warmth experienced in childhood for teens facing these challenges. Presented from three perspectives—children, parents, and psychologists—this documentary provides neutral, balanced, and comprehensive information. As an effective medium, it is expected to bring this important issue to the public, especially in educating parents and teenagers about the impact of toxic parenting on children's mental health.

Abstract

 Abstrak --- Hijab is a head covering for Muslim women. Hijab can be developed as an application that is implemented based on android. Applications hijab are scattered on android, but the application hijab which exist at present more an assortment of hijab models only. It is considered less supporting the needs of women who hijab. Because the woman was kept at this time included more selective in choosing the model that modern hijab, but in accordance with the Islamic Shari'a.Of these problems led to the idea to create applications based on android hijab, in which modern hijab model provides the appropriate guidance of Islam and to provide information based on the shape of the face veil user at the first capture the face. The methodology used in the making of this application is a method Prototype. The programming language is JAVA (Eclipse). While the method for classification process that distinguishes types of faces in this study using two methods Canny operator and Template Matching Correlation.On the Application hijab, Input as the image of the user's face to be conducted face detection process and display the results of a user's face detection process. Then display the corresponding information hijab Islamic guidance is also based on the shape of the face of the user face detection process. Face shapes used are rounded, long, oval and square with the characteristic that distinguishes every face shape as a reference. While the basics of hadith and verses in the Qur'an make reference to the appropriate information hjab Islamic guidance. With the Android-Based Application hijab is expected of the veiled women to know and implement the hijab correctly. Keywords --- Hijab, Java (Eclipse),  Canny operator, Template Matching Correlation.

Abstract

This research focuses on the potential of Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) to enhance motorcycle riders' compliance with traffic regulations, particularly regarding the use of sidewalks and bike lanes in Bandung City. The rampant violation of traffic rules by motorcycle riders has posed a serious threat to the safety of other road users, such as pedestrians and cyclists. Therefore, this study aims to find innovative design solutions to change rider behavior and create a safer and more comfortable road environment. This study is driven by the urgent need for effective design strategies to educate and remind the public about the importance of obeying traffic rules. In other words, this research seeks to explore how environmental graphic design can be utilized as a persuasive visual communication tool to drive behavioral change. Through a qualitative approach, this study will in-depth analyze the effectiveness of various EGD elements in attracting attention, conveying clear messages, and shaping new awareness among motorcycle riders. The results of this research are expected to make a valuable contribution to the development of more humane urban design. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for local governments and urban planners in formulating policy and design-based solutions to address complex traffic problems in urban areas. This research is also expected to inspire further research in the field of environmental design and human behavior.

Abstract

Pasar Cihapit, located at Jl. Cihapit No.32, Bandung Wetan District, Bandung City, is renowned as a traditional market offering a variety of unique local culinary delights, attracting both locals and tourists. However, survey results indicate that the majority of visitors experience difficulties in finding information about the facilities in this market. This issue stems from the lack of effective graphic elements to provide directions and visual information. Based on interviews with vendors and visitors, they expressed the importance of having clear, easily accessible, and visually appealing information to enhance comfort. This study aims to evaluate and implement Environmental Graphic Design (EGD), such as signage, to assist visitors in identifying available facilities and services. The proper implementation of signage is expected to improve visitor mobility, provide more structured information, and create a more pleasant visiting experience. An integrated design approach is also anticipated to transform Pasar Cihapit into a more attractive, well-organized, and high-quality destination for the community.
