Abstract

The surge in LPG consumption within Indonesian households, coupled with stagnant LPG production, has compelled the government to import 75% of LPG by 2022. Despite initial plans for a transition to electric stoves in 2023, the program was halted due to widespread public resistance to electric stove technology. The rejection was attributed, in part, to low trust in this emerging technology, emphasizing the pivotal role of trust in influencing technological acceptance. In response, this research endeavors to construct a robust and reliable model capturing trust in the acceptance of electric stove technology. Utilizing the PLS Structural Equation Model method for data analysis, the focus centers on two trust indicators: propensity trust and human-machine trust. In the quest for a valid model, the statistical modeling technique considers five initial hypotheses developed with 32 trust-related items. Upon analysis, one hypothesis is rejected, while four are accepted. Notably, the trust human-machine (THM) variable emerges as a significant influencer of trust for electric stove technology (TTK), substantiated by a path coefficient of 0.917 and p = <0.001. Thus, the resulting model takes on a reflective form, offering insights into the intricate dynamics of trust in the acceptance of electric stove technology.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the factors influencing consumer purchase intention toward electric vehicle products in the Greater Jakarta Area (Jabodetabek).  Methodology – Through purposive sampling of motor vehicle users in the Jabodetabek area, a total of 1780 questionnaire responses were collected. Then the data were analysed using the Sequential Equation Modelling (SEM) method - PLS.Findings – Based on the analysis's results, lifestyle is the most influential factor affecting consumers' purchase intention of electric vehicles, compared to other factors studied. In contrast, environmental awareness does not significantly influence consumers’ intention to purchase electric vehicles.Originality/Novelty – This study offers a new perspective on how environmental awareness, government promotion, perceived price value, lifestyle, and perceived risk affect purchase intention toward electric vehicles in the Jabodetabek area. Consequently, it provides insights for developing more effective marketing strategies and public policies to reach potential consumers.Implications – Despite adequate infrastructure, along with supportive government policies and subsidies aimed at promoting the adoption of electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions in the Jabodetabek area, environmental awareness alone does not significantly drive consumer interest. Instead, lifestyle emerges as the most influential factor in shaping consumer purchase intention. These findings suggest that stakeholders should consider lifestyle-oriented strategies to enhance the effectiveness of marketing policies and promote electric vehicle adoption as part of the border to reduce carbon emissions

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the concept of Value Stream Mapping and its significance in process improvement. It highlights the key steps involved in creating a VSM and emphasizes its role in identifying and addressing various types of waste, such as waiting time, unnecessary movement, and rework. By mapping the current state of a process, organizations gain insights into its inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Furthermore, the importance of developing a future state Value Stream Map that outlines the desired state of the process after implementing improvements. It emphasizes the need for continuous monitoring and evaluation to ensure sustained progress and ongoing optimization. Overall, Value Stream Mapping offers organizations a systematic approach to analyze, optimize, and enhance their processes. By visualizing the value flow and identifying opportunities for improvement, businesses can achieve higher levels of efficiency, reduced costs, improved quality, and ultimately deliver greater value to their customers. The calculation and analysis explained that the total processing time was 105.8 minutes and the total lead time was 47 minutes resulting in a non-value added (NVA) of 34 minutes. If the converted into a process percentage form, it is 32% of the total time spent on operational air freight.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penayangan iklan Bihunku pada tayangan Super Market Sweep Indonesia di ANTV menggunakan EPIC model. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif, dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 68 responden yang merupakan penonton yang setidaknya pernah menonton tayangan supermarket sweep sebanyak satu kali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik sampling Purposive sampling. Penelitian ini mengguankan analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif, dan analisis EPIC rate. Hasil yang di dapatkan setelah melakukan pengujian melalui jawaban responden dapat dilihat bahwa dari hasil perhitungan tiap tiap dimensi yang menggunakan EPIC Model yang diukur menggunakan EPIC rate, dapat dilihat dari rata rata semua hasil setiap dimensi bahwa hasil akir analisis dan perhitungan dari nilai EPIC Rate didapatkan 4,105 yang artinya masuk dalam kategori efektif. Jika di lihat berdasarkan setiap dimensi EPIC Rate didapatkan dimensi Empati sebesar 4, dimensi Persuation sebesar 4,16, dimensi Impact sebesar 4, dan dimensi Communication sebesar 4,26. Maka berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa iklan bihunku pada tayangan Super Market Sweep dinyatakan efektif.

Abstract

PT ABC merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri tekstil yang memproduksi kain grey. PT ABC mengalami kendala karena dalam proses produksi kain grey terdapat perbedaan waktu pengerjaan yang tinggi untuk setiap workstation di lantai produksi. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan terjadinya bottleneck yang menyebabkan PT ABC terlambat memenuhi permintaan dari pelanggan. Masalah ini dapat diatasi dengan line balancing. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan keseimbangan antara stasiun kerja dalam proses produksi kain grey dan memberikan usulan line balancing yang dapat meningkatkan kecepatan produksi untuk setiap stasiun kerja di lantai produksi. Pada penelitian ini analisis line balancing dilakukan dengan Largest Candidate Rule dan Rank Positional Weight. Hasil analisis kemudian dibandingkan dengan kondisi aktual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Largest Candidate Rule memberikan hasil yang terbaik,  yaitu jumlah workstation berkurang yang semula dari 6 menjadi 4, efisiensi lintasan  sebesar 71.77%, balance delay sebesar 28.23%, waktu idle sebesar 91.05 menit, dan smoothing indeks sebesar 54.3. Kata Kunci: Line balancing, Largest Candidate Rule, Ranked Positional Weight, Bottleneck
