Abstract

Desa Mulia Kerta merupakan salah satu desa yang terdapat di Kecamatan Benua Kayong Kabupaten Ketapang. Desa Mulia Baru memiliki potensi hasil pertanian yang tinggi terutama tanaman singkong yang belum banyak dilakukan pengolahan terutama dalam bidang pangan terhadap singkong yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya suatu upaya untuk memberikan keterampilan serta semangat kepada masyarakat agar dapat mengembangkan beberapa hasil pertanian terutama singkong menjadi tepung mocaf, kemudian tepung mocak tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi beberapa produk pangan salah satunya brownies. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah singkong menjadi tepung mocaf, dan brownies, kemudian memberikan motivasi berwirausaha dan memberikan informasi kepada kelompok PKK tentang pengolahan singkong menjadi tepung mocaf dan brownies. Metode Pendekatan yang dapat membantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi yaitu dengan melakukan metode transfer teknologi (Ipteks) dan kewirausahaan sehingga dapat dihasilkan produk bernilai guna tinggi. Kegiatan ini meliputi beberapa tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monitoring. Target luaran pada kegiatan ini adalah tepung mocaf dan brownies. Hasil kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, berlangsung dengan baik, hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada hari pertama kegiatan yaitu penyampaian materi semua aktif dan sangat antusias. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pembuatan tepung mocaf dan brownies mocaf.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the parameters of free fatty acids in PT. As long as Intisurya Mulia, the Mulia Oil Mill factory is within quality control limits based on the X-bar and R-bar control chart, looking for factors that affect the value of CPO (Crude Palm Oil) free fatty acid content in production oil, as well as seeking solutions to the problem causes increase in the quality of free fatty acids. The test results using the control chart (control chart) obtained the results of the X-bar and R-bar control chart, on the X-bar control chart there is data that crosses the lower control limit, and the results data outside the upper control limits. The results of the quality of free fatty acids, there are data that are outside the control limits. Whereas the R-bar control limit states that the free fatty acid content in the production oil is still under control, because all data is still within the control limit R and there is no data outside the upper control limit or lower control limit.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the chemical characteristics of the rice moisture contents as well as consumer's acceptance of Agro rice, Siam rice, and coriander rice in Benua Kayong district, Ketapang regency. The method used in this research is the usage of the Grain Moisture Tester device, which serves as a tool for measuring moisture content, and also aid in analysis of organoleptic scoring tests on color observation parameters done by 25 untrained panelists. According to the analysis results of the moisture contents, the rice that scored the lowest in terms of moisture content is coriander rice sold in Mr. Zain's shop (11,1%), and the highest is Pulen Kampung rice sold in Mrs. Noliya's shop (15,4%). Meanwhile, the results of the organoleptic scoring test on the parameters for observing the color of rice, the best result was found in Agro rice sold in Ari's shop with the score of 7,92 (bright white), and the rice with the lowest score is Sumpit rice sold in Nando's shop with the score of 5,68 (light gray).

Abstract

This study seeks to identify the non-blended boiling process and the blended heating process in the manufacturing of mangrove apple syrup, as well as to identify the rate at which the mangrove apple syrup product is accepted by consumers. Non blended method on mangrove apple (Sonneratia caseolaris) syrup production process is a method in which the mangrove apple that have been cleaned and chopped into parts, with the addition of 65% of sugars and 100ml of water, therefore the boiling process started for 30 minutes with the temperature of ±100°C. While the blended method done by blending the cleaned mangrove apple with 1000ml of water and then filtered in order to obtain the exact, after that add 65% of sugars, therefore begin the heating process for 30 minutes with the temperature of ±100°C until it thickened. Analysis that will be ran is a sensory test by 30 partially trained panelists. Analysis result of mangrove apple syrup sensory test for the color, flavor, and smell, the best version of mangrove apple jam is the one with the blended method, with the testing score of brownish red colored,a hedonic test of iconic smell of mangrove apple that is tolerable, and a pleasant taste.

Abstract

Cookies are cakes made from flour which are generally made from wheat flour, powdered sugar, chicken eggs, vanilla, margarine, cornstarch, baking powder and instant milk powder, but often along with the increasing need for wheat flour it has an impact on the level of consumption of wheat. in Indonesia is not sufficient. Efforts are being made to minimize the use of wheat flour by means of substitution, one of which is by substituting jackfruit seed flour. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of preference for cookies with the addition of jackfruit seed flour and water content using various methods (p0= 100g : 0g), (P1= 100g: 40g), (P2= 100g : 50g) and (P3= 100g: 60g). The results obtained using the organoleptic test for color, aroma, taste and texture. In color, the best value was found in treatment P2, namely 7.32%, aroma was found in treatment P3, namely 7.24%, taste was found in treatment P1, namely 7.96%, and on the texture the highest value was found in treatment P2, namely 7.68%. In the water content test, the highest value was found in treatments P1 and P2, namely 16%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the legal protection efforts of compost fertilizer inventors from mangrove waste in Suka Baru village, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan and to determine and analyze the patent registration system for compost fertilizer products from mangrove waste in Suka Baru village. The method used in this research is normative-empirical research using primary data, namely the results of interviews and secondary data containing primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the research show that compost fertilizer from mangrove waste in Suka Baru village has not received legal protection due to the lack of public understanding of the importance of Patentability, and the Patent registration system applied by Indonesia, namely the first to file system which recognizes the owner of the Patent Rights (Invention) who registers first. Therefore, if this problem is not followed up immediately, it will trigger various problems that will be caused such as claims from other parties and so on.
