Abstract

Abstract - Hotel located on the Lombok island has a considerable amount. Integrating multiple hotel information systems into a single container that can be accessed by visitors. The purpose of this research is to build a website hotels at the island Lombok using web services technology to facilitate users in finding information and booking hotel rooms. Implementation of the web service technology, the method used to construct the hotels Lombok hotels webiste are SOAP and implements a distributed database system that connects the DBMS of the same type, compatible, structure and description of the same data. To know the system is successfully implemented, then the testing of the system by using the black box. Other than that, testing the questionnaire to 30 students as respondents. Based on the data obtained in this research will be calculated MOS value (Mean Opinion Score), so as to get the average value of MOS is 91.32%. The results of these tests show that the system is web-based information hotel Lombok service that has been implemented is a good system and easily understood by users. Abstract

Color blindness is one of eye diseases that attack the eye's conical cells and making it difficult to see several colors. One way to detect color blindness in a person is using the Ishihara Test, in this test using the figure images that have any colors that can outwit the color blind. By using numbers in the Ishihara test can’t yet include some groups who can’t read the numbers, so that a new drawing is made of 2D shape that will be combined with an expert system in order to provide an initial diagnosis according to the expert. Expert systems lately can be developed on many devices, the most commonly used is a mobile application with the most popular Android operating system. In this research, there are several tests on the subject of partial color blindness and subject with a normal eye, with the result of Ishihara’s Test can reach 100% System with time limit only 15 seconds. Therefore this system has the fit of workflow and conclusion with Ishihara Test.

Abstract

The “Koperasi Pegawai Negeri” (KPN) of Mataram University is a kind of saving/debit and loan cooperative that own by Mataram University. It is an institution cooperative which by the rule receive/collect/debit the funding (money) regularly from the members of the cooperative, as well as allows the members to get a modal credit/loan with a certain interest rate in accordance to the rule. The system to manage and carried out the saving and loan process is still under conventional system. When the members need to confirm on the data regarding their saving, loan or payment, they have to come to the office or to have to contact the admin. Accordingly, the Web based Information System is urgently needed to solve the above problems. This system was build up by mean of “Codeigniter Framework” using a programmer language of PHP and HTML. The system was developed using waterfall model. Key words: Information system, saving and loan cooperative, waterfall model, codeigniter, website.

Abstract

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a wireless telecommunications technology that consists of a collection of dynamic nodes. Due to these properties resulted in the mobility of nodes in MANET. So that every relationship between nodes will always change and cause the process of finding a vulnerable route to take a long time. Each node also has a role as a host or router in exchanging information. In MANET delivery assurance and the ability to deal with path changes on an ad hoc basis are critical. So that in sending data packets from the source node to the destination node, a Routing protocol is needed. The routing protocol Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) in the route search process broadcasts RREQ to all neighboring nodes (intermediate nodes) without knowing whether the node is the best node or not. So that the possibility of the route being interrupted because it is not composed of the best nodes can occur. A modification of the DSR routing protocol is proposed by finding the best intermediate node based on parameters, namely bandwidth, RTT, packet loss ratio. Then the neighboring nodes (intermediate nodes) that have been selected will arrange the delivery route from the source node to the destination node. The performance of the modified DSR and DSR routing protocols will then be measured using test parameters, namely throughput, packet delivery ratio (PDR) and average end to end delay. Based on the results of research trials, the application of the modified DSR method can improve the performance of the DSR protocol. Which after the application of the method, the average throughput increased by 25%, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) was 1.11% and the average end-to-end delay decreased by 17.64 %.

Abstract

Temperature and humidity are one of the comfort factors. According to the SNI standard, the comfortable temperature range is at 20.5°C-27.1°C. If the temperature is above 27.1°C, an Air Conditioner (AC) is needed to get the effective thermal comfort. AC installed in each PSTI FT UNRAM classroom is operated manually. This research implements Internet of Things (IoT) for automatic AC usage management. This IoT device is made using PIR sensor and DHT22 sensor, the MQTT protocol for data communication between the IoT device and the web system. Based on the testing scenario for the classroom containing students and the empty classroom that has been done, the IoT device is able to manage the AC usage automatically, so that the classroom can be called adaptive classroom. From the MOS testing that has been done, a value of 4.57 from a scale of 5, the system is feasible to use.

Abstract

Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a decentralized collection of nodes that exchange information temporarily via wireless transmission. When nodes communicate, all nodes in the communication range will be affected by signal interference from other nodes. The problem that arises due to this signal interference is that it will affect or interfere with the signal transmitted to the receiver, resulting in a decrease in network performance which will impact the quality of service (QoS). To overcome the problem of signal interference, use interference management. This study applies the Dynamic-Power Transmission (DPT) algorithm to the Destination Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV) routing protocol framework. DPT-DSDV will adjust the communication range automatically based on the node density level. When a node sends data packets to neighbouring nodes, the communication range will be adjusted automatically based on the selected level. The performance of DPT-DSDV will be compared with standard DSDV and standard AODV by looking at performance based on three parameters, namely throughput, packet delivery ratio (PDR), and end-to-end delay. Based on the results of research trials, applying the dynamic-power transmission algorithm can improve the performance of the standard DSDV routing protocol. Throughput results on DPT-DSDV increased by 0.90%. The packet delivery ratio (PDR) increased by 0.50%, and end-to-end delay decreased by 2.80%.
