Abstract

The Pekayon-Jakasetia eviction conflict has been going on since 2016 which occurred due to a feud between the owner or residents affected by the eviction of Pekayon-Jakasetia and the Bekasi City Government, which is carrying out a program of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing which is intended to build pedestrians, parks and roads. This eviction conflict is related to agrarian conflict which is a dispute or conflict with land issues, either in the form of control or land ownership. The Pekayon-Jakasetia eviction conflict has resulted in opposition from the local community for evictions without dialogue and only with a warning letter five times in five weeks without dialogue with the people affected by the evictions, even though the land is free state land and has been inhabited in good faith for decades. In fact, the government also compensates the people affected by the evictions as a form of compensation. Thus, people who feel aggrieved and do not receive protection, as well as responsibility for the forced evictions. This paper aims to map the sequence of events for the evictions using qualitative methods through literature study. Sources of data are obtained from books, journals and internet sites.

Abstract

The emergence of the rejection of the construction of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation Mosque (JAI) in Garut Regency, West Java, resulted in the sealing of the mosque on the publication of Circular Letter No. 3 of 2008. This gave rise to the phenomenon of the power of the central and regional governments in limiting the continuity of the religion of the JAI group. The focus of this research in this article is to see Marxist thinking related to bureaucracy where the emergence of SKB No. 3 of 2008 bureaucracy can influence identity politics. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection techniques for library research and documentation. In freedom of religion, the bureaucracy is used as a tool of power to limit certain social groups. The occurrence of community resistance to the JAI group in fighting for their religious freedom.

Abstract

he Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Purbalingga Regency has received criticism and complaints from customers regarding the quality of service which is considered unsatisfactory. Based on observations and data obtained, there were 1,095 customer complaints from PDAM Purbalingga regarding pipe leaks or damage, water flow congestion and other problems. In addition, the employees of the Purbalingga Regency PDAM received less encouragement from the leadership and there were several employees of the Purbalingga Regency PDAM from various divisions who left their jobs or did not come to work. This study aims to determine the extent to which the influence of leadership variables, work motivation and organizational culture affect employee performance. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach with the help of SPSS version 26.0. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. The size of the number of samples in this study was determined using the slovin formula, so that the sample used was 61 respondents from PDAM Purbalingga Regency. Primary data collection using a questionnaire. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that the leadership variable has no effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.562, the work motivation variable has no effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.067, and the organizational culture variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.000. Employee performance can run well if the company can provide leadership, motivate employees and create a good organizational culture.
