Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe whether the reading material in English textbooks for 10th-grade high school students was by KTSP, and the school fulfilled the content, language use, and readability aspects, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the 10th-grade reading material through swot analysis. The researcher uses the descriptive qualitative method for a detailed explanation. The results will be described in words without any statistical calculations. The data were collected from the reading section of the textbook and, more importantly, the SWOT analysis results as a complement to the explanation of the previous explanation. The checklist form was used during the research analysis. The findings show that the strength and weaknesses of each material and learning will be found.

Abstract

In the city of Surabaya, the use of online transportation applications is increasing and has become one of the popular transportation options. With the increase in public interest in the use of online transportation, various companies are competing with each other to further innovate in the process of developing online transportation applications. PT. Go-Jek Indonesia is one of the online motorcycle taxi companies that claims to be able to provide practical and fast services in the midst of congestion problems faced by people in several cities. This study aims to evaluate the quality of Gojek online transportation driver services based on the level of customer satisfaction in the city of Surabaya. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method. The data collection techniques carried out in this study used interview techniques and document studies. From the results of interviews and document studies in this study, it can be concluded that the service provided by Gojek drivers to passengers is of good quality so that it provides satisfaction to customers as expected. Although some of them said they were satisfied with the service that had been provided by the driver, there were still some improvements that needed to be made and improved for the performance of the Gojek company in order to improve or improve the company's brand image.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta membandingkan ketentuan hukum menjamak dan mengqashar salat menurut Mazhab Syafi‘i dan Hanafi, serta melihat relevansinya pada konteks perjalanan dan mobilitas modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitik terhadap sumber-sumber fikih klasik maupun kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua mazhab sepakat bahwa jama’ dan qashar merupakan rukhsah yang diberikan syariat guna meringankan musafir dalam menjalankan salat. Namun, terdapat perbedaan dalam implementasinya, seperti batas minimal jarak safar, ketentuan niat, kebolehan menjamak salat, serta batas waktu maksimal bermukim. Dalam konteks modernitas, mobilitas yang semakin tinggi akibat perkembangan teknologi transportasi menjadikan rukhsah jama’ dan qashar sangat relevan untuk menjaga pelaksanaan ibadah tanpa menimbulkan kesulitan berlebihan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pemahaman komprehensif terhadap perbedaan pendapat mazhab agar umat Islam dapat menerapkan rukhsah sesuai kondisi perjalanan yang dihadapi pada era modern.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between teacher professionalism and the learning environment on improving the quality of foreign language learning of students in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a quantitative method with an ex post facto research type. The research data were distributed through questionnaires with 59 students as respondents. The analysis showed that the results of the simultaneous F test with a significance value of 0.002 (p <0.005) and the results of the calculated F 6.793> F table 3.165, then Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted. The results of the determination coefficient test were 0.195 or 19.5%, which means that the influence of the independent variables of teacher professionalism (X1) and learning environment (X2) on the dependent variable of improving the quality of foreign language learning (Y) was 19.5%, the remaining 80.5% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The study results indicate that teacher professionalism and a well-managed learning environment will improve the quality of foreign language learning for students in Islamic boarding schools. This finding confirms that improving teacher professionalism and creating a conducive learning environment is important to improving students' foreign language learning quality.
