Abstract

Drama learning does not have to take the form of watching drama performances, but this learning can be done by listening to radio dramas. This research aims to produce learning media for listening to radio dramas based on local knowledge about local Madurese elites, namely kiai and blater. The method used in this research is 4D (define, design, develop, decide). The validation results from learning media experts show that the media material for watching radio dramas is suitable for implementation with a percentage score of 97%. Meanwhile, the results of the validation of literature learning also show that the learning media is suitable for implementation with 95% of participants. This learning media makes students interested in carrying out every step in operating the radio drama learning media. This is based on the results of distributing questionnaires to students who also get a percentage score of 80% -90%. Therefore, the follow-ups to this research is to carry out wider dissemination.

Abstract

Bahasa adalah alat komunikasi yang diperlukan dalam setiap waktu termasuk siswa yang setiap hari berkomunikasi. Komunikasi lisan merupakan keterampilan berbahasa yang membutuhkan beberapa komponen berbahasa diantaranya adalah expression.  Materi expression merupakan salah satu materi yang dipelajari siswa kelas VII SMP yang bertujuan agar komunikasi lisan mereka tidak kaku dalam menggunakan kosa kata. Dengan demikian, mereka bisa berbicara sesuai dengan alur situasi dan kondisi yang diinginkan tanpa menunjukkan sikap memaksa. Namun hal ini sangat sulit untuk diaplikasikan karena mereka harus menyesuaikan kegiatan yang ada pada buku ajar yang pada umumnya menggunakan situasi asing sehingga mereka harus menganalisis sebelum mereka memahami dan mengimplementasikan materinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penggunaan media ajar pendamping bahasa Inggris “let’s express” dalam materi expression siswa kelas VII SMP Daruttauhid, Sepulu, Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang berisi tentang paparan hasil penelitian yang merupakan paparan dari penggunaan media. Dari penelitian, diketahui bahwa siswa dan guru mengalami kesulitan dalam materi expression sehingga membutuhkan media khusus yang dapat membantu dalam pembelajarannya. Penggunaan media ajar pendamping bahasa Inggris dalam materi expression cukup membantu karena berbasis aplikasi yang berkearifan lokal sehingga dapat diakses dengan mudah dalam waktu tak terbatas.

Abstract

Museums are a source of knowledge and literacy for their visitors. However, so far, museum visitors only stop by and don't discuss comprehensive data related to objects seen by visitors. Others create interest in museums by digitizing the objects in them. So this research is a preliminary study before developing barcodes. This research is a preliminary study prior to the development of learning media for literary language and its barcode-based teaching for reading skills to facilitate the learning process in museums and educate local knowledge about relics that are full of information and knowledge. Understanding the contents of the object description utilizes barcode-based technology. The development design used is Research and Development Borg and Gall. There are seven research stages: problems, information collection, product design, product testing, design revision, design validation, and product revision. The barcode application developed can be used on Android phones or the like by utilizing barcodes, while its development is on the use of technology in objects in museums in Cakraningrat Bangkalan Madura of Ajhar Museum. Abstract

Research on Madurese folklore is of high urgency in preserving local culture amid the rapid pace of globalization. Globalization often leads to cultural homogenization, threatening the relevance of oral traditions such as folklore. Revitalizing Madurese folklore is a strategic step to keep cultural values alive and known to a wider audience. The proposed effort is to integrate folklore into the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program. The main objective of this research is to develop the “Careta Madhura” learning media that utilizes folklore as culture-based teaching materials. The method used is development research with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research stages included identifying material needs, designing media concepts, developing modules and interactive digital content, and limited dissemination. The product's feasibility was assessed by BIPA experts and Madurese cultural experts, then tested on beginner-level BIPA learners using data collection techniques such as questionnaires, observation, and interviews. The novelty of this research lies in its contextual role-play approach, which allows learners to experience cultural values directly, unlike conventional learning methods that tend to emphasize grammar. The results of the study show that “Careta Madhura” is feasible and effective, both as an innovative medium to enrich BIPA materials and as a sustainable strategy for introducing Madurese cultural heritage to the global arena.
