Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan submasalah pada penelitian yaitu pikiran dan perilaku tokoh utama pada kumpulan cerpen Seekor Bebek yang Mati di Pinggir Kali karya Puthut EA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, bentuk kualitatif, dan pendekatan psikologi behavioristik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pikiran tokoh utama kumpulan cerpen Seekor Bebek yang Mati di Pinggir Kali karya Puthut EA, tokoh utama memiliki watak penakut, pembenci, khawatir, pasrah, tegar, peduli, mudah tersinggung, keras kepala, tak sabar, dan ceroboh. (2) Perilaku tokoh utama pada kumpulan cerpen Seekor Bebek yang Mati di Pinggir Kali karya Puthut EA, tokoh utama memiliki watak penakut, pembohong, mudah terpengaruh, tabah, pencuriga, keras kepala, pantang menyerah, dan bertanggung jawab. Kata kunci: psikologi, tokoh utama, pikiran, perilaku Abstract: The research purpose is to describe the subproblems in research are the thought and the behavior of the main character in the A Duck Died in the River Bank short story collection written by Puthut EA. It uses the descriptive method, qualitative form, and behavioristic psychology approach. The result of data analysis showed that (1) the thought of the main character of A Duck Died in the River Bank short story collection written by Puthut EA is coward, hater, worried, submission, stiff, care, sensitive, stubborn, impatient, and carelessness. (2) the behavior of A Duck Died in the River Bank short story collection written by Puthut EA, the main character is coward, liar, influenced easily, stiff, suspicious, stubborn, unsubmitted, and responsible.
