Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated  by the desire of researcher of find the moral  value in a collection of sastra lisan short stories by Batak Toba work is dividet into four problems, namely how the moral values deficted from human relationships with God, how is the moral value depicted from humanrelationships with other human being, how is the moral value depicted from human relationship with it self, and how the plan of implementation of moral value in a collection of Batu Gantung short story by Sastra Lisan Batak Toba on learning Indonesian language at school. This study aims to obtain a picture of the moral value in a collection of sastra lisan short stories by Batu Gantung Sastra Lisan Batak Toba. The benefits of research that can be obtauned from this research, namely the benefist of theori about moral value and short story. Researcher used descriptive and qualitative methods. The approach used, namely the approach of the literary work. The source of data in this study related to the moral value that seen from human relationship with divinity, the moral value seen from human reletionship with other human beings, and phrase, and sentences in a collection of Batu Gantung short story by sastra lisan Batak Toba. Abstract

AbstractAs the uniqueness of each language, the expression of anger is also something unique and peculiar which is expressed differently depending on the culture of each community, including the society of Pontianak Malay Kalimantan Barat. In connection with this peculiarity, since childhood or nowadays the society of Pontianak Malay Kalimantan Barat do not only reflect dislike, disapproval of things and differences of opinion or understanding through anger, but more than that the expressions of anger also shows caring, affection, love and even conveying advice in the closest environment such as family and daily interactions. There are various expressions of anger in the society of Pontianak Malay Kalimantan Barat including beleter. Beleter is the focus and aim of the research to be described qualitatively. The research sample was 100 respondents selected randomly from the total population of the society of Pontianak Malay Kalimantan Barat. This study applied descriptive statistics. The data collected and disseminated through questionnaires and analyzed through tabulation of statistical product and service solution (SPSS) based on the Likert scale which are: strongly disagree (1), disagree (2), doubtful (3), agree (4), and strongly agree (5). Based on the data, it could be concluded that society of Pontianak Malay still expressing their anger through beleter in the closest social environment and family (86% of respondents agree and even strongly agree).  Keywords: anger expressions, Pontianak Malay, Kalimantan Barat, beleter.

Abstract

AbstractThis research emphasized the characterization all figures based on the characters in novel were the first elements that had characterization and character. Theories used  were novels, characterization and character. This research used descriptive methods, qualitative research forms, and a behavioral psychology approach. The source data was Keling Kumang's novel by R. Masri Sareb Putra. Data collection technique was  documentary studies. The data reflected in words, expressions, phrases and sentences contained in novel. The result of analysist are, the character of the figures in the novel there are several types of characters namely merciful (Gemuring Gading, Baji Amai, and Kumang), brave (Aryo), cheerful (Keling), abstinence surrender (Jelayan), friendly (Untai Bungai, and Bujang Sebalu), easily influenced (Entolong Cuka and Laja), vindictive (Apai Sabit), and cunning (Asam Kandis and Abang Kumang). There are two character development, namely dynamic and static. The dynamic character character development is Keling and Baji Amai, while the static character character development is Gemuring Gading, Kumang, Jelayan, Laja, Bujang Sebalu, Aryo, Entolang Cuka, Asam Kandis, Apai Sabit, Inai Abang, and Abang Kumang. The results of this study can be implemented in Indonesian Language learning in high schools in class XII students of the second semester. Keywords: Character, Disposition, Novel

Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis kreatif puisi menggunakan model cooperative think talk write melalui media gambar pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil analisis data perencanaan pada siklus I memperoleh hasil 92,2% (baik sekali), siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3,1% dengan hasil 95,3% (baik sekali) dan siklus III juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 1,6% dengan hasil 96,9%. Hasil pelaksanaan pada siklus I memperoleh hasil 67,3% (cukup), siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,6%, dengan hasil 78,9% (baik), serta siklus III dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,6% dengan hasil 88,5% (baik sekali). Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus I mencapai 68,5 (cukup). Siklus II mencapai 72 (cukup), dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus III dengan rata-rata 76 (baik).   Kata Kunci: Menulis Kreatif Puisi, Think Talk Write, Media Gambar Abstract: The purpose of this research wasto know the enhancement skill creative writing poetry using cooperative models think talk write  through the medium of drawing on grade VIII B SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. The method used in this research is descriptive method, with the form of qualitative research design of classroom action research (PTK). Based on the analysis, planning results can be obtained in the first cycle obtain the results of 92.2% (excellent). Furthermore, on the second cycle increased by 3.1% to obtain the results of 95.3% (excellent) and the third cycle also increased by 1.6% to 96.9% results. Results of the implementation cycle I get the results, 67.3% (enough). Furthermore, the second cycle increased by 11.6%, with the results obtained for 78.9% (good), and the third cycle and an increase of 9.6% with the result of 88.5% (excellent The mean value obtained by the students in the first cycle reached 68.5 (enough). Abstract

1 This research is based on the facts in the field that show the results of learning to listening the news has not achieved the expected results. This is because teachers are still using conventional learning model, less varied and less interesting, so that students' activities seem monotonous in following the learning. This research  were conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The research method used is descriptive method, the research form is qualitative, and the type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The results showed that the learning strategy of The Power Of Two can improve  the ability of teacher in planning and actingof news gathering learning  1 plan to learning.  On the first cycle, the score was 46,40, the second cycle the score was 47,00 and third cycle the score was 48,00.  All thethird score is on verygood categorized.  APKG 2 of the teacher acts on the learning, the score in cycle 1 it 39,00 which in good categorized. Cycle 2 and 3 the score in 42,67 and 45,67 which in very good categorized.   Keywords: Listening, news, strategy The Power of Two

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur intrinisik yang terdapat dalam novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong Karya Tere Liye dan pengimplementasian pembelajaran unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong Karya Tere Liye terhadap mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripstif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong Karya Tere Liye terdapat unsur intrinsik yang terdiri dari tema, alur, latar, penokohan, sudut pandang, gaya bahasa, dan amanat. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan pengajaran bahsa Indonesia di sekolah khususnya untuk mengajar siswa menganalisis unsur-unsur intrinsik pada sebuah novel.   Kata Kunci: analisis, struktur, novel   Abstract: This research aimed to describe the intrinsic elements contained in the novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong by Tere Liye and implementing learning intrinsic elements contained in the novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong by Tere Liye against Indonesian subjects at school. The method used in this study is descriptive method. Based on the analysis of data can be concluded that the novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong by Tere Liye there is an intrinsic element consisting of theme, plot, background, characterizations,viewpoint, language style, and mandate. Results from this study are expected to be used as the teaching of Indonesian in schools, especially to teach students to analyze the elements intrinsic to a novel. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran inkuiri dalam pembelajaran cerpen yang dilaksanakan oleh guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VII SMPN 3 Sungai Raya tahun pembelajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian ini ialah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, studi dokumenter, wawancara, tes, dan kuesioner. Adapun alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar pedoman observasi, alat perekam, lembar pedoman wawancara, lembar tes, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa, dan lembar kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran inkuiri dalam pembelajaran cerpen pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya sudah sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Hasil yang dicapai siswa dalam pembelajaran inkuiri pada pembelajaran cerpen juga memuaskan.   Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Inkuiri, Cerpen, Deskriptif. Abstract: The purpose of the research is to describe theapplication of inquiry model in teaching short stories which is  conducted by the teacher of Bahasa Indonesia in the class VII of SMPN 3 Sungai Raya in the academic year 2014/2015. The method used in this research is  descriptive method. The research used qualitative form. The data collective techniques are observation,documentation,interview,test,and questionnaire. The tools used to collect the data are observation guide,recording tools,interview guidance page,test, observation page and questionnaire. Based on result of data analysis, the researcher concluded that applying inquiry model in the planning and the learning process of  teaching short stories to the class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya is relevant to the curriculum 2013. The students? study results are also satisfying. Key Words: Inquiry Learning,Short Stories, Descriptive.

Abstract

AbstractSpeech is a process for someone to deliver message with specific intent and purpose to the interlocutor. Speech and its events are interrelated; both of events those exist in one process, known as the process of communication. Sambas Malay Folklore Collection was the data that provided in this study. Based on the data analysis, the results of this study as follows: (1) acting speech acts illocution as an assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declaration. (2) the meaning contained in every act of speech of illusion of assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declaration form and (3) lesson plan implementation. The result of analysis of Sambas Malay Folklore concluded, there were twenty-seven assertion of acute illusory acts, thirty data of the directive speech act, six data of not expressive, six data of the commissive speech acts, one data of the act of speech declaration and seventy acts of assertive illusion, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative of meaning in every form of speech, and its lesson plan implementation of Sambas Malay Folklore as the learning material in the curriculum of 2013.Keywords: Discourse of Illocution, Meaning, Malay Sambas Folklore.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tema dan amanat, serta fungsi cerita dalam kumpulan cerita Kalantika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan objektif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerita Kalantika. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata, kalimat, dan isi keseluruhan teks cerita yang mencakup tentang tema, amanat, serta fungsi cerita  di dalam kumpulan cerita  Kalantika. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi dokumenter. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) tema cerita adalah tentang pengajaran hidup yang bermanfaat kepada manusia mengenai tradisi menanam padi, melanggar janji, tegar menghadapi permasalahan hidup yang berat, serta tema tentang penyesalan yang sangat menyakitkan. 2) amanat pada cerita dalam kumpulan cerita Kalantika secara garis besar menjelaskan mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan yang sangat penting, seperti nilai moral, nilai budaya, dan nilai budi pekerti yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. 3) fungsi yang terdapat pada cerita dalam kumpulan cerita Kalantika, yaitu fungsi hiburan, fungsi pendidikan anak, dan fungsi religius.   Kata kunci: Struktur, tema, amanat, fungsi This research was aimed to describe theme and message, as well as, the story function in the collection of folklore, Kalantika. The method used in this research was descriptive method and qualitative form of research. The researcher used objective approach. The source of data in this research was the collection of folklore, Kalantika. The data of this research were words, phrases, sentences, and the whole content of the texts that contained themes, messages in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, as well as,  function in the stories in the collection of folklore, Kalantika. The data collection technique in this research was documentary study technique. The results of this research were: 1) the theme of the story in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, was about valuable life lessons of planting rice tradition, broken promises, endurance in facing hard life problems, and hurtful regret; 2) messages of the story in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, mostly explained about very important education values, for instance, moral, cultural value, value of characters for life lessons in daily life; 3) the function of story in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, was as function of entertainment, function of child education, and function of religion.   Keywords: Structure, message, theme, function

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the Larasati romance by Pramoedya Ananta Toer based on critical studies or Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK). The objectives of the study are to describe (a) macro structure (theme), (b) author’s cognition in creating romance, (c) ideology contained in the Larasati romance by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, and (d) plans for its implementation in Indonesian Language learning in High School. The form of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this research are the quotations of sentences and paragraphs taken from romance. The source of data is Larasati romance by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, the 5th print in 2010. The technique for data obtaining is documentary study and the tool is a note card. Techniques to test the data validity is triangulation and discussion with colleagues. Data analysis is done by analyzing the contents of the text. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) Macro structure (theme) is revolution after independence; (2) Author cognition reflected in the Larasati novel by Pramoedya Ananta Toer are: a) artist, b) imprisoned, and c) the names of several characters in a romance such as (a) Chaidir who is meant as Chairil Anwar, (b) Prime Minister who is meant as Soetan Sjahrir or Amir Sjarifuddin Harahap (c) Jassir who is meant as HB Jassin. (3) Political ideology found in the novel Larasati by Pramoedya Ananta Toer are a) racist ideology and b) class conflict ideology. There are three things that present the existence of racist ideology, that are: a) Japan as an invader and Indonesia as colonized; (b) The Dutch as invaders and Indonesia as colonized; and (c) Nica versus Republikein. (4) Considering the curriculum, the purpose of literary learning, how to choose materials, and aspects of readability, the Larasati romance by Pramoedya Ananta Toer can be implemented in Indonesian Language learning in high school especially in XII grade. Recommendation: Larasati romance can be used as material for Indonesian Language learning in high school. Keywords: Critical Analysis, romance, macro structure, author cognition, political ideology
