Abstract

Soybean plants are the most related food crops, and the demand for soybean production is getting higher, but there are obstacles that occur so that the productivity of soybean plantsdecreases over time. In this activity we use experimental methods. This research was conducted at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra and this activity was in accordance with a schedule that would take 4 months. By producing a product "ZINGO VUCAVA" which helps soybean farmers in eradicating the borer caterpillar pest so that the productivity produced in the future will increase. The product "VUCAVA ZINGO" is a pesticide made from natural ingredients, so it does not have a negative impact on the surrounding environment and health for consumers.

Abstract

Voerseri is a packaged bird feed made from singapore cherry. Voerseri is one of the developing businesses in the city of Medan. The financial feasibility analysis of the voerseri business is carried out to help the Voerseri Business see the feasibility of the development business that will be carried out. Some of the things studied in the financial feasibility analysis include variable costs, fixed costs, and business feasibility criteria which include Break Even Point (BEP), R / C ratio and B / C ratio. The result of the calculation of the financial viability of the Voerseri Business is that it will reach BEP by selling 79 units of products or Rp. 1,330,258 every month. The R / C value obtained is equal to 1.44, which means that this business is feasible to be cultivated while the B / C value obtained is equal to 0.44, which means that this business does not provide benefits to businessmen.

Abstract

Buah kersen merupakan buah dari tanaman peneduh yang selama ini tidak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar. Walaupun begitu, buah ini sebenarnya memiliki kandungan mineral dan vitamin C yang cukup baik digunakan untuk pakan dan obat-obatan. Dengan kandungan yang dimiliki buah kersen tersebut, maka pelaku bisnis memanfaatkannya untuk diolah menjadi voer racikan karena melihat peluang bisnis yang cukup menjanjikan dilingkungan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pendapatan yang diperoleh dari bisnis voer racikan yang menggunakan bahan baku buah kersen. Penelitian ini meneliti produk bermerk Voerseri yaitu sebuah produk voer yang menggunakan buah kersen sebagai bahan baku dalam racikannya. Produk Voerseri ini memiliki kandungan seperti karbohidrat, protein, kalsium, kalium, posfor, dan magnesium. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis pendapatan dengan menghitung total penerimaan dikurangi dengan total biaya. Hasil perhitungan keuntungan bisnis voer racikan dari buah kersen yaitu total penerimaan yang diterima selama 2 bulan sebesar Rp. 7.120.000 dikurangi total biaya selama 2 bulan sebesar Rp. 5.999.500, yang berarti keuntungan yang diperoleh dari bisnis voer racikan dari buah kersen selama 2 bulan adalah sebesar Rp. 1.120.500. Keuntungan bisnis dapat diperoleh karena tingginya animo penghobi untuk mencoba voer racikan tersebut. Dengan begitu, pelaku bisnis bisa mendapatkan nilai tambah dan keuntungan dari hasil penjualan voer racikan berbahan baku buah kersen yang tidak dimanfaatkan oleh banyak orang tersebut.

Abstract

Farming risk management is a step that can affect the production results of the farming. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by farmers in managing risks in the field. The analysis method used is Coevisian variation to see the level of risk of farming, measuring perception using a likert scale and using 3 strategy management, namely Ex-ante, interactive and Ex-post. The results of this study show that the level of risk of farming is low and the perception is positive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production costs, revenues, and income of tomato farming in Karo Regency, North Sumatra. This study used a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sample was determined using a saturated sampling method, with all 20 tomato farmers as respondents. The data used consisted of primary data obtained through interviews using questionnaires and secondary data from relevant agencies. Data analysis was conducted using cost, revenue, and farm income analysis. The results showed that the average total production cost of tomato farming was IDR 2,680,655 per planting season, consisting of fixed costs of IDR 733,605 and variable costs of IDR 1,947,050. The average income received by farmers was IDR 21,401,100, while the average revenue was IDR 18,720,445 per planting season. The R/C ratio of 8.01 indicates that tomato farming in Karo Regency is very feasible and profitable to develop. Thus, tomato farming in Karo Regency has good prospects for increasing farmer income. However, farmers still face challenges such as price fluctuations and high production costs, necessitating increased efficiency in the use of production factors and policy support from the local government to improve farmer welfare.
