Abstract

Abstract: Engineering Faculty of Wijaya Putra Surabaya University in every semester  hold a final project test. The purpose of this activity as a condition of a student to earn an engineering degree. The process of implementation of the final project in the faculty of engineering experience some obstacles, such as: (1) determination lecturers examiners, (2) final project scheduling, and (3) delivery final project schedule. Some obstacles arise due, because there is no system that can integrate every department, which involved in the implementation of final project. Based on the identification of problems, then it is necessary to design analysis needs stakeholders, to build a web-based information system, which capable of integrating every department. Information systems are built is expected to: (1) to map and recommend areas of expertise lecturer with the theme of final test materials effectively and efficiently, (2) the system is able to perform automatic scheduling based on the schedule of lecturer teaching and academic calendar schedule, and (3) the system is able to publish a schedule to all stakeholders who require. The conclusion from this study, generate design information systems that can reduce obstacles, in implementation a final project test at Engineering Faculty of Wijaya Putra Surabaya University.

Abstract

Permanent magnet synchronous generator is one type of generator that is widely used for small-scale power generation, because it can be operated at low speed, so it does not require a gearbox in its operation. This paper proposes the manufacture of a low speed axial flux permanent magnet synchronous generator that can be used for small-scale electric power generation. The generator is designed in the form of a single stator single rotor. The generator stator is designed using fiberglass as the holder for the nine coils, while the rotor is designed in a disc shape using aluminum as the holder for the Neodymium N52 permanent magnet. The generator design was validated through Finite Element Analysis simulation using solidwork and tested through experiments using an induction motor as the driving force. Tests were carried out with varying air gaps and rotational speeds. The experimental results show that the generator can produce a voltage of 15.4 Volts when the generator is rotated at a speed of 500 rpm. The generator can also produce a maximum power of 400 Watts with an air gap of 2 mm.

Abstract

Administrative services are a basic need for society. However, its implementation is still not practical and simple, resulting in effects that can impact other sectors such as the economy. The demographic condition of Gampong Jawa Lama shows that there is no time efficiency which will result in many losses. Apart from that, the absorption of existing village funds shows that the use of paper for administration is still very large which is not in accordance with point 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals, coupled with the impact of the pandemic which has worsened the situation by implementing various restrictions on sectors of society. It is urgent to find a solution that facilitates the community in the administrative sector and Gampong Jawa Lama needs a solution to facilitate the administrative process in terms of delivery distribution and management by village officials to create a minimum system that is effective, efficient and interacts directly. Based on the needs and conditions of Gampong Jawa Lama Village, the online administration solution, namely "Smart Village: Empowering Gampong Jawa Lama through an Intelligent Information System for Online Application-Based Community Administration Services", is an application that can accommodate administrative processes at the village level using the Android system.
