Abstract

The development of marine and fisheries in North Maluku Province is very important and strategic because it has very large and reliable fishery resource potential. The development of community fisheries through commercial fisheries is carried out to increase fishery capacity with improvements that must be made to be able to encourage regional economic growth in North Maluku Province. This study aims to analyze the potential role of fisheries in increasing local revenue (PAD) in North Maluku Province. The method used in this research is Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis and Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that the value (LQ) proves the potential income of the fisheries sector has a positive relationship to regional original income. The fisheries and marine sector as a leading sector based on regional income indicators should require strong efforts from the government to be willing to provide services for the development of fisheries and maritime affairs in North Maluku Province.

Abstract

Infrastructure development in an area is one of the keys to economic growth. Furthermore, infrastructure facilities can encourage growth in the labor sector will grow productively and are supported by business capital that can reduce production costs, increase operating profits, the amount of production will continue to increase, and be able to improve community welfare. But on the contrary, with limited infrastructure facilities, it causes the value of productivity to decrease. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of regional conditions and infrastructure developments in the development of industry (food and beverages) in North Maluku Province. This study uses the descriptive analysis method to see the extent of infrastructure conditions in supporting regional industrial development to facilitate industrial activities in this area. Based on the results of the study, all physical infrastructure in the form of roads, ports, airports, clean water, telecommunications, and electrical energy that is already available in North Maluku Province will contribute to industrial development in North Maluku. However, to support the development of the industrial sector in this area which has enormous potential, the infrastructure currently owned has become very limited and is felt to be unable to support the needs of the industrial sector. So that to catch up with the carrying capacity of infrastructure for the industrial sector, it must have policies for the development and development of this infrastructure. In conclusion that necessary to coordinate between provincial, district and city governments in determining development priorities in North Maluku Province.

Abstract

This paper present the result of analysis that economic impact of Covid-19 on industrial prices/commodities, the business sector in Indonesia is not all negative, but there are also positives. WFH policy, social distancing, physical distancing, #dirumahaja, many people do not leave the house, negatively impact the inhibition of the distribution channel of goods/services. from upstream to downstream, from supplier to manufacturer, distributor to consumer. But there are certain sector companies that have a positive impact on their financial performance even though they are not as big as when normal, especially those based on virtual, pharmaceuticals and food. The methods used in this study are descriptive and expost facto. The resurt of this study in indonesian macroeconomic policies in the face of covid-19 economic stabilization, in the form of interest rate subsidies, tax rates, social assistance, direct cash assistance (BLT), low-cost staples. Lower banking rates, lower income tax rates, ease of provision of basic materials. Delays in paying credit installments (principal and interest), easier provision of capital for medium-small enterprises (SMEs), micro-empowerment capital, to increase banking capital, control prices, avoid inflation. The limitation this study needs many sampling and objective analysis for sectors affect by covid 19.

Abstract

Capturing the breadth of research on social capital, empowering leadership, sustainable initiatives, and community welfare is the goal of this systematic literature analysis. Five publications that satisfied the inclusion requirements were found after a thorough search of the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases using PRISMA, which was done between January 2010 and November 2024. The compilation of these articles demonstrates that social capital, sustainable programs, and community welfare have been primarily studied in the healthcare industry. Furthermore, research findings were also conducted in African countries, Turkey, Italy, Canada, and various other countries. Furthermore, the research methods employed were predominantly qualitative. Future research directions are also provided, along with theoretical and practical contributions.
