The performance of runners is related to the anaerobic threshold level. Anaerobic threshold plays an important role in runner’s endurance. Anaerobic threshold value is also closely related to the level of runner’s fatigue when doing physical exercise or when competing for a long time. If the body’s endurance level cannot withstand the activities carried out, it will give a negative effect on their performance. There are exercises that aim to increase the anaerobic threshold value, namely high intensity interval training and blood flow restriction training. High intensity interval training can increase the anaerobic value through the mechanism of provide a high stimulus to anaerobic glycolytic and carbonic anhydrase reaction with formation (H+) that improved buffering capacity. Addition of blood flood restriction training by using limb occlusion pressure causes local hypoxia, so it will increase muscle metabolic demand. It will induce metabolic acidosis with increased hydrogen ions and lactate production. Among skateboarders frequently faced with recurrent injury especially on ankle region. They seldom take attention to their injury and if the condition left untreated, it will turn into chronic ankle instability. This condition will disturb dynamic balance while playing skateboard. The purpose of this research is to find if dumbbell lunges intervention and core stability exercise are more effective than elastic band and core stability exercise for the improvement of dynamic balance. This experimental research using pre and post test two group design. Sample was taken with simple random sampling. Total of 24 samples were divided into 2 groups, each group contain 12 samples. Group I had dumbbell lunges intervention and core stability exercise while Group II had elastic band intervention and core stability exercise. The exercise was done 3 times per week for 6 weeks. Data was taken with measurement dynamic balance using modified bass test of dynamic balance before and after exercise to each group. The mean difference test increasement of dynamic balance with paired sample t-test results p value 0.001 (p<0.05) within treatment Group I and p value 0.001 (p<0.05) within treatment Group II. which mean there is significantly difference of increasing value dynamic balance before and after intervention within both group. Difference test before intervention in treatment Group I and Group II with independent t-test result p value 0.818 (p>0.05) in which there is no significant difference between groups before intervention. and difference test after intervention in treatment Group I and Group II with independent t-test shows significant difference with p value 0.001 (p<0.05). This study shows that dumbbell lunges intervention and core stability exercise result in better improvement of dynamic balance than elastic band intervention and core stability exercise among skateboarders.

Myogenic low back pain (myogenic LBP) is a back pain caused by muscles as a source of pain. Myogenic LBP can cause disability in patients. Kinesiotaping is one of the new methods used to reduce disability in myogenic LBP patients. The purpose of the study was to find out the effectiveness of adding kinesiotaping to microwave diathermy and massage interventions in lowering disability in myogenic LBP patients. The study used experimental methods with pre-test and post-test control group design. There are two randomly selected groups with block permutation techniques. The treatment group consisted of 16 samples receiving interventions in kinesiotaping, microwave diathermy and massage. The control group consisted of 16 samples received microwave diathermy and massage interventions. Disability is measured by MODI questionnaire (Modified Oswestry Disability Index). The research was conducted at a physiotherapy clinic in Denpasar. The results of the study after the Paired sample T-Test in each group with a value of p<0.05, this showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test results and post-tests in each group. The inter-group different test was conducted with the Independent sample T-Test, obtaining a p<0.05, indicating that there were significant differences between the treatment group and the control group. Microwave diathermy provides a deep heating effect so that it can increase metabolism, reduce pain, reduce spasms and increase muscle extensibility. Massage interventions are able to reduce pain through gate control theory mechanisms. Pressure on the surface of the skin also stimulates the release of endorphins that will inhibit pain impulses to the brain. Kinesiotaping has the benefits of reducing pain, joint fixation, smoothing lymph flow and muscle facilitation. With this mechanism, the addition of kinesiotaping further decreases disability in myogenic LBP patients.

Skateboarders often ignore repetitive injuries that occurred while they were playing.Repetitive injuries that are not handled properly will lead to chronic ankle instability.Chronic ankle instability will lead to a condition where skateboarders will experience anunbalanced dynamic equilibrium as they are skateboarding or while doing dailyactivities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of chronic ankleinstability with dynamic balance of skateboarders in Denpasar, Bali. This study was ananalytical descriptive study with a cross sectional study design. The population of thisstudy was all skateboarders that joined Persatuan Skateboarder Bali (PSB) in Denpasar.Sampling techniques in this study was Non Probability Sampling. Sample size wasobtained using saturation sampling technique. In this study, the number of samples thatmet the inclusion criteria was 60 people. Data analysis using chi-square test obtained aresult p = 0,000 (p<0,05). It can be concluded that there was a significant relationshipbetween chronic ankle instability with dynamic balance.

Individual that greater use of information and communication technologies such as computer, smartphone, or other media has the tendency failure of body postures. Laptop usage has been associated with adolescent neck pain, with daily use of computers exceeding 2-3 hours as a threshold to forward head posture. Forward head posture can affect the result of reducing cervical alignment and mobility of the neck. There are exercises that intention to improving the cervical alignment and mobility, particularly sling-based manual therapy and stabilization exercise. A sling device provide the research subject with optimal loading of each target segment, in actual neutral position, and an environment for exercise in a closed kinetic chain. Spinal mobilization techniques used in manual spinal treatment activate the descending pathway from the peritubular gray region (PAG) of the midbrain. Moreover, stabilization exercise affect postural control through concurrent contractions of the agonist and antagonist muscles to improving cervical alignment and mobility. Osteoarthritis (OA) genu is a degenerative musculoskeletal system disorder in the knee joint which is characterized by slow and progressive loss of joint cartilage. OA genu causes disability and decreased functional abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of adding core stability exercise to microwave diathermy, ultrasound and massage interventions in improving functional abilities in patients with OA genu. The research method used was an experimental pre-test and post-test control group design. There are two groups selected randomly with the block permutation technique. The treatment group consisted of 18 samples receiving core stability exercise, microwave diathermy, ultrasound and massage. The control group, totaling 18 samples, received microwave diathermy, ultrasound and massage. Functional ability was measured by the WOMAC questionnaire (Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index). The research was conducted at a private physiotherapy clinic in Denpasar. The results of the study after the Paired T-Test was carried out in each group with a p value <0.05, this indicated that there was a significant difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test in each group. The different test between groups was carried out by the Independent Sample T-Test, obtaining a p value <0.05, this indicates that there is a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group. The conclusion of this study is that the addition of core stability exercise to microwave diathermy, ultrasound and massage interventions further enhances functional activity in OA genu patients. The implications of theoretical and practical research as additional knowledge and guidelines in providing effective interventions for OA genu conditions.

Introduction: Physical activity is any body movement caused by the work of skeletal muscles system and increases the expenditure of effort and energy. The energy is used as fuel to perform motion and function. Nutrition and oxygen throughout the tissue will be better with increased physical condition which showed by increased in the amount of hemoglobin in the blood. Increased concentration will occur when the two energy substances in the human brain effect and fastering body's circular system. Objective: To determine the relationship between physical activity with increasing concentration on students in learning at senior high school 3 Denpasar. Methods: The sampling technique in this study was consecutive sampling. This study used an observational method with a cross sectional design. This research collects data from 122 students at senior high school 3 Denpasar which will measure the level of physical activity and concentration. Results: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between physical activity with increase in learning concentration on students at senior high school 3 Denpasar (r=0,737; p<0,05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship with a positive value between physical activity with an increase in learning concentration on students at senior high school 3 Denpasar. If physical activity increases, the concentration of learning will also increase

Introduction: The most common trouble when doing task is work related neck pain. Neck pain can have negative effect on workers related to the resulting work productivity. To conquer this, there is deep cervical flexor training with feedback training to solve that problems. This study aims to find out whether deep cervical flexor training with feedback is powerful in reducing pain and disability the work-related neck pain. Methods: This study using a literature review by conducting data studies related to deep cervical flexor training with feedback, neck pain, and working. The initial search in 4 databases found a total of 36 articles. After the selection using inclusion and exclusion criteria obtained 28 articles. Results: Based on some literature, it shows that deep cervical flexor training with feedback aims to activate the deep cervical flexor muscle effectively in reducing pain through the release of endorphins and decreasing pain and changes in muscle function have an effect on reducing disability in work related neck pain. Conclusion: Providing deep cervical flexor training with feedback is powerful in decreasing the level of pain and disability in work-related neck pain.

Introduction: One of the condition common types of muscular distortion is retrieved Q-angle and postural stability. The function lower extremities with all the structures assist postural stability in most static postures and dynamic movements or activities. The changes in the Q-angle and postural stability contribute to the development risk of falling. This study aimed to examine the relationship and implications of Q-angle and postural stability for fall risk. Methods: This study uses a literature review by conducting data through an electronic database such as Pedro, Pubmed, and Google Scholar. They had discussed approximately Q-angle, postural stability, and fall prevention with selection by inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: We discovered three research related articles. The studies examined the relationship and implications of Q-angle and postural stability for fall risk. The results of those studies, Q-angle and postural stability had a correlate and implication for fall risk. Conclusion: Q-angle and postural stability are related to the risk of falling. The risk of falling can be decreased by reducing the Q-angle and improving postural stability. Additionally, it can be achieved through exercise or orthotics to helps reduce the risk of falls, which will eventually avoid injuries.

Background: Taekwondo is based on sudden and violent attacks by the hands and feet; therefore, an injury can occur. Ankle sprains account for 15% to 20.8% of all sports injuries, and 72% of people who have experienced an ankle sprain report experiencing chronic ankle instability. Star excursion balance exercise is an exercise that increases the functional ability of the ankle. The shortwave diathermy intervention assists the ligaments' healing process as core stability exercise is necessary to activate postural control, which is a valuable component in treating chronic ankle instability. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of adding core stability to shortwave diathermy and star excursion balance exercise in improving the functional ability of chronic ankle instability in taekwondo. Methods: The research used experimental research with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The technique used for sampling in this study is simple random sampling. There are two sample groups to be studied. The first group was given additional core stability through shortwave diathermy and star excursion balance exercise, and the second group was assigned the intervention of shortwave diathermy and star excursion balance exercise. The functional ability of the ankle is measured using the foot ankle disability index (FADI). There were 18 people in each group. The study was conducted three times a week for a month. Results: The results showed significant differences in the two groups with p = 0.000. However, the intervention group was better at improving the functional ability of chronic ankle instability in taekwondo with a value of p = 0.002. Conclusion: This study concludes that there are differences in adding core stability to the shortwave diathermy intervention and star excursion balance exercise in improving the functional ability of chronic ankle instability in taekwondo.
