Abstract

Kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia menjadi sangat relevan dalam konteks pembangunan masyarakat yang berkarakter dan beradab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi latar belakang munculnya kebijakan pendidikan Islam, menganalisis jenis-jenis kebijakan yang diterapkan, serta mengevaluasi produk-produk yang dihasilkan dari kebijakan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang menggabungkan analisis literatur dan dokumen kebijakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pendidikan Islam berkembang melalui beberapa fase sejarah, dimulai dari pengenalan Islam ke Nusantara hingga era pascareformasi, yang mencerminkan tanggapan terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat yang dinamis terhadap pendidikan berkualitas. Jenis kebijakan yang teridentifikasi meliputi pengembangan kurikulum, peningkatan sumber daya manusia, serta pengakuan terhadap lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Meskipun kebijakan tersebut telah menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan peningkatan akses pendidikan, tantangan signifikan seperti kurangnya dukungan anggaran dan infrastruktur masih ada. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat demi keberhasilan pendidikan Islam yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical understanding of the influence of parenting styles and teacher guidance on students’ emotional intelligence. The research problem arises from the crucial role of both family and school in shaping students’ emotional intelligence during early adolescence. This study employed a quantitative approach using the Product Moment correlation technique and multiple linear regression analysis, accompanied by descriptive analysis of questionnaire data distributed to students of SMP Utama YBM PLN P2B TJBB Gandul, Cinere, Depok. The findings revealed that (1) there is a positive and significant influence of parenting style on students’ emotional intelligence, with a t value of 7.733 > 1.989 and a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05, contributing 41.6%; (2) there is a positive and significant influence of teacher guidance on students’ emotional intelligence, with a t value of 6.793 > 1.989 and a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05, contributing 35.5%; and (3) there is a positive and significant simultaneous influence of parenting style and teacher guidance on students’ emotional intelligence, indicated by an F value of 36.851 > 3.110 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Developing students' emotional intelligence requires collaboration between family parenting patterns and teacher training/mentoring at school.

Abstract

Pegayaman, the sole Muslim village in Bali surrounded by Hindu communities, offers a unique context for exploring the interaction between Islamic law and local Hindu cultural traditions. The study examined how Islamic law is negotiated and practiced in the context of Hindu cultural dominance. Using an empirical legal research framework with a socio-legal approach, data were collected through field observations and in-depth interviews with Muslim traditional leaders, religious figures, residents, and migrants. The findings indicated that syncretic practices in Pegayaman do not undermine the Islamic creed (‘aqidah) but rather reflect a process of internalizing and negotiating Islamic values within the local cultural context. Rooted in the base meme philosophy emphasizing cultural heritage, tolerance, and social harmony, these practices manifested in religious celebrations and social rituals. From an Islamic legal perspective, such adaptations may be regarded as ‘urf sahih provided they do not conflict with Sharia principles. Thus, the study highlighted the significance of contextualizing Islamic law in pluralistic societies, demonstrating that cultural accommodation need not imply theological compromise.
