Abstract

Pendidikan karakter saat ini merupakan “resolusi” dari berbagai krisis moral yang sedang melanda bangsa kita. Menurut Abdul Majid dan Andayani, pendidikan karakter merupakan pancaran keterpaduan olah pikir, olah rasa, dan olah karsa yang mengandung nilai, kompetensi, dan kapasitas moral. Ketiganya kemudian menjadikan pemiliknya mempunyai karakter utama manusia yaitu jujur,tanggungjawab,cerdas, bersih, sehat, peduli, dan kreatif. Pendapat ini kurang sempurna dalam menggambarkan karakter berbasis Al-Qur’an. Selain karakter utama yang telah disebutkan oleh Majid dan Andayani di atas, seseorang harus memiliki kekuatan aqidah sebagai pondasi karakter lainnya. Dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Qur’an, aqidah merupakan karakter yang paling utama yang melandasi karakter lainnya. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana metode mengajar pendidikan karakter berbasis al-Qur’an yang tepat Dalam pandangan Al-Qur’an, setiap Muslim seharusnya mempelajari empat unsur ajaran Islam. Keempatnya merupakan satu kesatuan integral. Pendidik selayaknya memperhatikan keempat unsur dalam Al-Qur’an ini agar dapat berkembang secara optimal pada peserta didik. Menurut Abdul Munir Mulkhan, keempat ajaran Islam tersebut adalah akidah, akhlak, ibadah, dan mu’amalah duniawiah

Abstract

The results found in this thesis are early childhood education in RA Bait Qur’any at-Tafkir using a home learning teaching model. The intended home learning teaching model has characteristics. First; Islamic values. Second, there are 4 teaching models in RA at-Tafkir namely: Scientific, Muhadatsah, contextual learning and problem solving learning. The teaching model is integrated with Islamic values as the main basis. Third, the application has been done with home learning. The application involves the role and function of parents to run the RA at-Tafkir program.The results of this research have similarities with the opinions of Nurul Hikmah & Nurul Habiburrahmanuddin (2018) regarding education in the Qur'an being taught to children from an early age and Amirullah Syarbini (2017) who emphasizes character education in the family to instill Islamic values early on. This is different from the opinion of Maria Montesorri (1952), Syamsidah (2012), Timothy D. Walker (2017), Vidya Dwina paramita (2018) which gives children freedom to do daily activities and agendas. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with primary data sources. The data collection is done through document studies. The data is carried out deepening and confirmation through interviews and observations.

Abstract

The difficulty experienced by the head of PAUD al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman in disciplining teachers and motivating them to comply with the foundation's policies is a problem that must be immediately found a solution. This research uses a qualitative approach, data sources obtained through interviews through zoom applications, documentation, and observation. This article found that PAUD al Ashriyyah Principal Nurul Iman in improving teacher discipline used autocratic style to be the dominant style, not seen other styles played by principals in the leadership model. The principal in improving the work discipline of his teachers does not always run smoothly, the obstacles and obstacles faced include that there are still a few teachers who are late in entering the classroom so that they need very strict supervision and guidance in terms of monitoring during learning hours, besides that there are other teachers in making learning tools so that there needs to be action in giving their assignments,  So the principal needs to tell what, how the task in detail should be done. To improve discipline in PAUD al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman, the principal does not play only one leadership style, but uses a democratic leadership style where employees or teachers have high work motivation and high competence abilities, or participatory leadership styles if teachers have low work motivation but high competence abilities

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the effectiveness of management of basic education institutions at SDN 1 Kurungrejo and MI Al Azhar. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection uses interviews, documentation studies and observations. The main informant in this research is the Head of the Madrasah and other informants are teachers. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that; First, the management of educational institutions has been carried out by the two schools through the following steps: 1) Program planning; namely determining the goals or targets to be achieved and determining the paths and resources needed to achieve the goals effectively and efficiently in managing education. Where program planning includes determining the school's vision, mission, goals and work plans 2) Program implementation; namely the implementation of the school work plan covering all areas of school operational implementation which are organized and managed by the educational unit formed in the school/madrasah organizational structure. These fields include: student affairs, curriculum, educators and education personnel, finance and financing, infrastructure, culture and school climate, and public relations (public relations). 3) Program Monitoring and Evaluation; namely the process of monitoring activities to ensure that all organizational activities are carried out as planned and at the same time it is also an activity to correct and improve if deviations are found that will interfere with achieving goals. Second, the school principal as a supervisor plays a very important role in planning, implementing and evaluating school programs. Third, SDN Kurungrejo, which is actually a state school under the auspices of the government, cannot be flexible in managing education, while MI Al Azhar, which is a private school under the auspices of a foundation, can be flexible in managing its education in accordance with predetermined program plans. Ultimately, the effectiveness of educational institutions in managing their institutions has an impact on the quantity of new students each year.

Abstract

The study explores the role of transformative leadership based on Zikrullah spiritualism in the context of Islamic education. Transformative leadership plays a crucial role in shaping student character, and this study seeks to explore how integrating spiritual values through Zikrullah can amplify the positive impact of such leadership. This thesis delves into the concepts of transformational leadership, Islamic spirituality, and Zikrullah, offering a comprehensive theoretical foundation. By examining these interconnections, the study aims to establish a framework that elucidates how transformational leadership, grounded in Islamic spiritual principles particularly the practice of Zikrullah can effectively foster the character development of students. This thesis covers the concepts of transformative leadership, Islamic spirituality, and the Zikrullah concept. This theoretical framework provides a basis for understanding the relationship between transformative leadership characterized by Islamic spiritual values, Zikrullah, and student character development. Research findings show that transformational leadership integrated with Zikrullah spiritualism has a positive influence in shaping the character of students. Positive changes include moral, ethical, personality and social adaptation aspects, which can strengthen students' moral foundations. The study uses a qualitative approach using observations, interviews, and document analysis. Study participants included school leaders, teachers, and students. This method is designed to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of transformative leadership based on Zikrullah's spiritualism and its impact on the student's character. Overall, this thesis concludes that transformational leadership based on Zikrullah spiritualism has great potential to improve the superior character of students. These findings not only contribute to understanding the concepts of leadership and spirituality in the context of Islamic education, but also provide practical insights for the development of character-oriented education policies in similar schools. Research findings suggest that the integration of transformative leadership with Zikrullah's spiritualism has a positive influence on student character formation. The presence of positive change includes moral, ethical, personality, and social adaptation aspects, which can strengthen the student's moral foundation. This research provides practical implications for education managers and leaders in Islamic schools. Integrating spiritual values into leadership an learning policies can serve as a basis for creating an educational environment that supports student character development. Overall, this thesis concludes that transformational leadership based on Zikrullah's spiritualism has significant potential to enhance the excellent character of students. These findings not only contribute to an understanding of the concepts of leadership and spirituality in the context of Islamic education, but also provide practical insights for the development of character-oriented education policies in similar schools.

Abstract

This article examines the management of the relationship of love in education from Hamka's perspective in his interpretation of Al-Azhar. The study focuses on revealing the forms of managing the educational relationship of love based on Hamka's interpretation of certain verses in the Tafsir Al-Azhar. The research involves literature review using Tafsir Al-Azhar as its data source. The findings indicate that several forms of relationship management according to Tafsir Al-Azhar include: congruent attitudes (QS. An-Nisâ’(4): 63); open self-image (QS. ʻAbasa (80): 1-10); non-dominative actions (QS. Asy-Syuʻarâ’(26): 215); serious responses (QS. Yûsuf (12): 4-5); providing alternative choices (QS. Al-Qashash (28): 27-28); offering acceptance opportunities (QS. Al-Kahfi (18): 60-64); and full sensitivity (QS. At-Taubah (9): 128). Each of these forms of management found is part of the general principles of relationship management based on the elements that serve as indicators of the educational relationship of love itself.

Abstract

Abstract Model of Principal Leadership Based on Prophetic Values in Improving the Quality of Education at Mts Abu Bakar Al-Islamy Sumbawa. This research aims to determine the redefinition of the prophetic-based leadership model in educational institutions, the application of prophetic-based leadership at MTs Abu Bakar Al-Islamy Sumbawa and the prophetic-based leadership model at MTs Abu Bakar Al Islmy Sumbawa in improving the quality of education. The method used in this research or study is qualitative and the approach used is descriptive naturalistic. The results of this research are: 1) The meaning of the prophetic leadership model in educational institutions cannot be separated from the main elements contained in the structure of prophetic values constructed in the Al-Qur'an Al-Imran verse 110, namely humanization, liberation and transcendence. Humanization as a derivation of amar ma'ruf implies humanity. Liberation taken from the verses of nahi mungkar implies liberation/freeing. And tu'minu billah which means transcendence is a factual dimension of human faith as a creature created by Allah SWT. 2) Implementation and internalization of values and or norms so that they become awareness which is manifested in attitudes and daily behavior. Thus, the internalization of the values of prophetic leadership in Islamic educational institutions is intended to consciously manifest these leadership values in the attitudes and behavior of institutional leaders, which in turn can also be internalized within the entire academic community of Islamic educational institutions. 3) prophetic leadership must depart from the starting point of a theological paradigm, namely from God, because of God and "for God". From God means that the leadership currently carried comes from God. The motive for leadership comes from God, and it is by God's grace that humans can become leaders.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penetian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan urgensi implementasi kurikulum pendidikan Al-Qur’an dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual anak, mendeskripsikan strategi pelaksanaan qur’anic parenting, dan menganalisis peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual anak melalui implementasi kurikulum pendidikan Al-Qur’an dan qur’anic parenting di Lembaga Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Usia Dini Istiqomah Bekasi Jawa Barat. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Urgensi implementasi kurikulum pendidikan Al-Qur’an dapat dilihat dari aspek keagungan Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman dan kontrol setiap muslim, aspek golden age anak usia dini, dan aspek kelembagaan yang mendukung visi, misi, serta tujuan lembaga. Adapun implementasinya dilakaukan melalui tahap perencanaan, pembelajaran di dalam kelas, pembelajaran luar kelas, dan penerapan budaya 6S; (2) Strategi pelaksanaan qur’anic parenting dilaksanakan dengan tahapan edukasi terhadap orang tua dan penerapannya dalam keluarga; (3) Peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual anak usia dini melalui implementasi kurikulum pendidikan Al-Qur’an dan qur’anic parenting di Lembaga Tahfidz Al-Quran Anak Usia Dini Istiqamah Bekasi dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek. Pertama, aspek habluminallâh yang ditandai dengan kualitas tauhid, ibadah, dan akhlak anak sehari-hari. Kedua, Pada aspek habluminannâs ditandai dengan sikap dan prilaku anak yang memiliki kesalehan sosial sesama manusia. Ketiga, aspek habluminal’âlam yaitu adanya kepedulian dan kepekaan terhadap lingkungan alam sekitar.

Abstract

This abstract aims to examine and analyze the implementation of teaching supervision management at the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an wa Tafaquh Fiddin Al Amin Batam Islamic Boarding School in maintaining the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an. The quality of Qur'an memorization is an essential aspect in education at this Islamic boarding school, so an appropriate supervision management approach is needed to ensure the achievement of educational goals. This Islamic boarding school has a great responsibility in producing a generation of Muslims who are able to memorize and understand the Qur'an in depth. Therefore, the implementation of effective teaching supervision management is the main thing in ensuring the expected quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach to explore the implementation of supervision management in the Islamic boarding school. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic boarding school managers, teachers, and students who are active in the Qur'an learning process, as well as analysis of documents related to teaching supervision. The results of the study revealed that effective supervision management in Islamic boarding schools includes several important stages. First, structured planning, including setting short-term and long-term goals, as well as learning strategies that are in accordance with the students' memorization targets. Second, the implementation of systematic supervision, including direct observation of the teaching process, evaluation of memorization quality, and providing feedback to teachers. Third, periodic evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the strategies implemented and ensure that there is an improvement in the achievement of student memorization. This research emphasizes the importance of developing a continuous and relevant supervision strategy in Islamic educational institutions. Good supervision management not only improves academic quality, but also strengthens the formation of students' character and morals in accordance with Islamic values. Supervision also contributes to the development of teachers' professionalism and supports the use of innovative learning methods in the teaching of the Qur'an.
