Abstract

Notification is used to send a notification of current events to application users who are already using a particular system. So users do not get the floating message. Computer Store Application using Firebase cloud message is one form of application means that aims to help customers or application users in getting information about the goods being serviced. System development research using the Prototype method, this method is appropriate to be used to develop a software that was developed again. This method starts with gathering user needs. Use of Notification Services for Customers in Computer Stores is very appropriate to retain customers. The results showed that the Computer Shop Application using Firebase cloud message can help users get information on services in the Computer Shop quickly and accurately.Keywords: Mobile Application, Android, Firebase Cloud Massage, Prototype, Computer Service

Abstract

The coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic has spread to various countries including Indonesia. Thus, implementing large-scale social restrictions (Bahasa: Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB)) has resulted in the paralysis of the economy in Indonesia. including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have decreased turnover and even went out of business. The Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung, oversees 3,808 MSMEs, whose development should be monitored as a basis for determining policies. However, there are problems in classifying MSMEs according to their categories because they have to check the existing data one by one, so it takes a long time. Therefore, this study proposed the C4.5 algorithm to solve this problem. In addition, this research compared with the naïve Bayes algorithm to find out which algorithm had a good performance and is suitable for this case. The results showed that 91% of MSMEs were included in the micro category, 8% was in a small category, and 1% was in the medium category. Based on the results, it explained that the C4.5 algorithm was bigger than naïve Bayes with a difference in the value of 3.79%. It had an accuracy value of 99.2%. Meanwhile, naive Bayes was 95.41%.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has declared Covid-19 as a national disaster since April 13, 2020. Various efforts have been made by the government such as Work From Home (WFH), social distancing, and the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) to reduce the spread of the corona virus. However, this policy has an impact on the decline in people's purchasing power. One of the sectors affected is MSMEs. This service aims to provide assistance in making financial statement bookkeeping and determining product selling prices for MSMEs in Pesawaran Regency. The three stages of activities carried out include preparation, implementation and monitoring. Preparation is carried out by conducting surveys in the field in coordination with partners. The implementation is carried out by training and mentoring using the lecture method followed by a question and answer discussion, and practicing making financial reports and calculating product selling prices. Monitoring is carried out periodically during service activities. This service results in the recording of simple financial statements, namely the cash book, accounts payable book, accounts receivable book, and inventory book, as well as calculating production costs and selling prices (hpp). Knowledge and soft skills regarding financial reports and determining product selling prices for MSME owners are needed, so that their business development can be monitored.

Abstract

Recommendation systems are often implemented in e-commerce and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) marketplaces to improve consumer services by providing product recommendations according to their interests. However, it still faces problems, namely sparsity and cold start, thus affecting the quality of recommendations. This research proposes clustering and imputation techniques to overcome this problem. The clustering technique used is k-means, while the missing value imputation method uses average values. The imputation results are then implemented in the k-nearest neighbor (KNN) and naïve Bayes algorithms and evaluated based on performance accuracy. Experimental results show an increase in accuracy of 16.48% in the KNN algorithm from 83.52% to 100%. Meanwhile, the naïve Bayes algorithm increased accuracy by 35.30% from 64.70% to 100%.

Abstract

The selection of the appropriate lecturers for the Computer Science Engineering program is an important factor in maintaining the quality of education in higher education institutions. However, the selection process often involves subjectivity and complexity, especially when it involves multiple criteria and preferences from various relevant parties. Therefore, an intelligent system is needed to assist in selecting the right lecturer. This study aims to develop an Intelligent E-Survey System for Determining Lecturers in the Computer Science Engineering Program using Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). This method was chosen because it can overcome the complexity and subjectivity in decision-making, especially in situations that are uncertain and ambiguous..

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi berdampak signifikan pada berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan, yang menuntut efisiensi dan akurasi. Di SMKN 1 Way Bungur, pengelolaan data akademik yang masih manual mengakibatkan berbagai kendala seperti kesalahan input data dan keterlambatan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem akademik berbasis web mobile untuk meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen data, aksesibilitas informasi, dan transparansi pelaporan akademik. Metode SAW digunakan untuk menentukan ranking siswa berdasarkan bobot penilaian. Sistem ini mengurangi kesalahan manusia dan meningkatkan transparansi dengan menyediakan informasi real-time yang meningkatkan hubungan antara sekolah, siswa, dan orang tua. Pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fitur utama berfungsi dengan baik, meliputi login, profil, dashboard, pengelolaan data, jadwal, kehadiran, nilai, transkrip, pembayaran, dan stabilitas sistem dan terbukti siap.

Abstract

The success of the education process is strongly influenced by the quality of human resources, in this case lecturers as educators. While each lecturer has the potential, expertise, qualifications, competency profile and experience that sometimes varies between one lecturer and another. Therefore the management of profile and concentration data is very much needed so that the department can know with certainty the abilities possessed by the lecturer. In the Department of Informatics the management of lecturer profile and concentration data has not been well managed. so this research proposes the Application of Data Management Profile and Concentration of Lecturers in the Informatics Engineering Department IIB Darmajaya by using a system development method that is prototype. The results of this study are expected to be utilized appropriately for policy making, both in terms of determining lecturers, lecturers, and determining membership peer group research, and also for filling accreditation form data and for display on the web of the Department of Informatics.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah penyaluran Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) yang tidak tepat sasaran kepada masyarakat miskin dan UMKM di Desa Rama Indra, Kecamatan Seputih Raman, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis cluster menggunakan algoritma k-means clustering, yang mempartisi data menjadi beberapa kelompok berdasarkan kriteria prioritas yang telah ditentukan. Hasil dari penggunaan metode ini menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas dalam identifikasi keluarga yang berhak menerima bantuan, sehingga penyaluran BLT menjadi lebih tepat sasaran dan meningkatkan akurasi dalam pemilihan kelompok keluarga penerima bantuan.   The objective of this study is to address the issue of misdirected Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) distributions to impoverished communities and SMEs in Rama Indra Village, Seputih Raman Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency. The method employed is cluster analysis using the k-means clustering algorithm, which partitions data into several groups based on predetermined priority criteria. The results of this method demonstrate enhanced effectiveness in identifying families eligible for assistance, thereby improving the precision of BLT distribution and increasing the accuracy in selecting recipient groups.

Abstract

Abstract — Service quality and organizational effectiveness are highly influenced by employee performance. At Wahaha Seafood Lampung, the process of delivering information such as memos, work reminders, and performance evaluations is still conducted manually, resulting in delays in information dissemination, suboptimal employee coordination, and difficulties in monitoring employee performance in an integrated manner. These issues highlight the need for an information system capable of supporting internal communication and real-time employee performance evaluation. This study aims to design and develop a web-based and Android-based application for information dissemination, notification delivery, and employee performance evaluation using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). The research employed an applied research approach with a system development methodology using the Waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance stages. The system was developed using the Laravel framework for the web application, Flutter for the Android application, MySQL as the database management system, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) as the real-time notification service. The system provides features for memo distribution, work reminders, automated notifications, and weekly performance evaluations for Persons in Charge (PICs) and staff based on indicators including attitude, discipline, creativity, and communication. The testing results indicate that all system features functioned according to the specified requirements, including both manual and automated real-time notification delivery as well as proper management of performance evaluation data. Therefore, the developed system is capable of improving internal communication effectiveness, facilitating employee performance monitoring, and supporting increased organizational productivity in a more structured and integrated manner.   Key word — Performance, Android, Webservice, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Company, Evaluation System
