Abstract

ABSTRAKMakalah ini ditulis bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi salah satu dari sekian banyak permasalahan yang ada dalam pengajaran berbicara (speaking) pada siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Selain itu, makalah ini juga dimaksudkan sebagai masukan bagi guru-guru bahasa inggris dalam melaksanakan pengajaran speaking sehingga siswa tertarik dan termotivasi dalam menguasai speaking.Dalam makalah ini, penulis membahas bagaimana pengajaran speaking melalui penggunaan kombinasi strategi Inside/Outside Circles dan strategi Academic Controversy. Strategi kombinasi ini mempermudah guru meningkatkan keinginan siswa dalam belajar. Strategi Inside/Outside Circles dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan interaksi antar siswa dalam suasana yang santai dan menyenangkan. Siswa membentuk dua lingkaran konsentris yang mana setiap siswa yang ada di lingkaran dalam saling berhadapan dengan siswa yang ada di lingkaran luar dan mereka diberikan kesempatan untuk memberikan pendapat satu sama lain tentang sebuah topik. Kemudian, pada strategi Academic Controversy, siswa dalam sebuah kelompok mendiskusikan sebuah topik yang kontroversial dari dua sudut pandang yang berbeda. Akan tetapi, di akhir diskusi mereka harus memilih atau menetapkan yang mana yang mereka setujui sebagai suatu kesimpulan yang baik. Tujuan dari penggabungan dua strategi ini agar siswa menjadi lebih aktif, efektif dan efisien dalam menguasai speaking. Penulis berharap agar strategi kombinasi ini bisa menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam mengajar speaking.

Abstract

Informatics And Business Institute (IBI) Darmajaya was one of the institutions in the Lampung area that was involved in computer education and economics. One of the available routes in IBI Darmajaya in the computer field was Computer Science (CS). CS IBI Darmajaya produced the numbering graduate’s ±1000 students who were spread in the territory. Up to now the level of the success from the CS graduate in the matter fast or not this graduate was absorbed by the world of the work still could not be predicted. So as to be needed one sitem the prediction of the absorbency of the company against the alumnus CS was based on Neural Network. The neural network used the algorithm backpropagatioan and the function activation sigmoid binary that consist of tansig, logsig, and purelin. The network that was formed consisted of 25 of the number of layer cells of input, 52 of the number of layer cells were hidden first (hidden the layer), 26 of the number of layer cells hidden the two, and 5 of the number of layer cells of output. The training data as well as the testing were carried out with the spreading questioner against 93 alumni TI that was taken in a random manner, where questioner this consisted of 24 skills criteria that must be owned by the graduate CS that was received from the spreading of the poll of the 39 companies in the Lampung territory. This data will be put into the prediction system used Matlab v6.0.The key word: Neural Network, the Backpropagation algorithm, the Aktivasi Function

Abstract

Printer as the printing tool is already dominate several field, such as office, shop, school, university, educational institution, etc. In certain time, there must be trouble in printer using, just like another machines, damages. So that, no matter how hi-tech the printing tool, it must need the expert to fix the damages.Expert system transform the knowledge of the expert(s) to be a computer system that help general people to do anything like an expert. In this case, expert system is built to diagnose the damage of printer type Canon BJC-2100SP. This expert system will increase time of effort to diagnose the damage of the printer type Canon BJC-2100SP for computer technician, specially for printer type Canon BJC-2100SP. Abstract

This paper discusses about the fingerprint mapping of Received Signal Strength (RSS) WLAN, placed in UGM’s Electrical Engineering (TE) building on 3rd Floor Corridor. RSS WLAN measurements performed by using visualization NetSurveyor software and RSS fingerprint map visualization created using RapidMiner software. Dimension area of 3rd floor of UGM’s TE building is 1696.68 m2 and formed in 1893 grids for each grid is 1 m x 1 m. Measurement of RSS WLAN to 5 access points performed in duration of 1 minute 58 seconds, and produce as many as 86980 record. The results of this research is fingerprint visualization map as calibration of RSS WLAN distribution at JTETI building on the 3rd floor which can be used for the development of indoor localization. Abstract

Pada penelitian ini akan dikembangkan suatu perangkat lunak bantu pengontrol dan monitor suatu keamanan ruangan berbasis Short Message Service (SMS) dan mempergunakan internet protocol camera (IPCam), serta berintegrasi dengan komponen-komponen perangkat keras seperti handphone dan komputer, yang menghasilkan suatu fungsionalitas tertentu untuk membantu sistem pengamanan ruangan. SMS digunakan sebagai antarmuka antara sistem dengan pengguna. Pengguna dapat mengetahui status keamanan ruangan yang dilaporkan oleh sistem melalui SMS. Pengguna pun dapat mengendalikan peralatan elektronik yang terhubung ke sistem dengan cara mengirim SMS yang berisi perintah ke sistem. Perangkat lunak bantu pengontrol keamanan ruangan berbasis SMS, bisa dikonfigurasi melalui panel khusus atau melalui pengiriman pesan singkat /SMS oleh pengguna tertentu. Pesan yang dikirim akan mengacu pada sintaks yang telah didefinisikan, dimana setiap sintaks akan memiliki semantik yang menggambarkan jenis layanan tertentu. Pada saat yang bersamaan akan mengirim infromasi ke pengguna berupa pesan singkat SMS melalui Handphone gateway, Model pembangunan perangkat lunak menggunakan waterfall model prototype dengan metode berorientasi aliran data. Penghubung antara komputer dan rangkaian elektronik yang menjadi pengendali menggunakan mikrokontroller pada parallel port. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk sistem ini dikembangkan dengan Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 1.5.0 dan menggunakan MySQL sebagai sistem database dan penerapan Internet Protocol Camera sebagai media untuk meonitoring berbasis jaringan baik intranet maupun internet   Kata Kunci : short message service (SMS), Internet Protocol Camera (IPCam), sistem pengendal controlling, sistem pemantauan  monitoring, java,  internet daniIntranet

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan virtual laboratory dengan materi sistem sirkulasi pada peserta didik kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Atas yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efektivitas terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Atas 15 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree, yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, persiapan penulisan, dan penulisan dan penyuntingan. Evaluasi menggunakan evaluasi formatif Tessmer yang terdiri atas lima tahapan, yaitu: self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group, dan field test. Penelitian ini dinyatakan valid karena expert review menyatakan virtual laboratory sistem sirkulasi yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan. Hasil skor dari validasi ahli adalah 4,59 dari ahli materi; 4,67 dari ahli media; dan 4,11 dari ahli desain pembelajaran. Selanjutnya virtual laboratory diujicobakan pada tahap one-to-one evaluation. Hasil skor angket peserta didik sebesar 73,00 sehingga virtual laboratory dinyatakan sangat praktis. Pada tahap small group, hasil angket peserta didik terhadap virtual laboratory sebesar 68,20 sehingga virtual laboratory dinyatakan sangat praktis. Hasil field test menunjukkan rata – rata nilai n-gain sebesar 0,78 dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a serious health problem that should be concerned. According statistic of The World Health Organization (WHO) show there are 1,7 million deaths due to tuberculosis. Indonesia inclue one of 3 highest incidence of tuberculosis cases in the world. This study aimed to determine the number of leucocytes and erithrocyte sediment rate (ESR) with pulmonary tuberculosis before and after administration of the anti-tuberculosis drugs (OAT). This study used description crosssectional research design. Observations were carried out in patients with tuberculosis who received therapy for 6 months OAT agains leucocytes and ESR before and after treatment. Subjects were new case of pulmonary tuberculosis with acid fast bacilli (BTA) positive and BTA negative Rontgen positive in Dharmasraya district. Materials such examination whole blood samples with EDTA anticoagulant. The result subject are 30 people. Examination of leucocytes and ESR performed before and after administration of the OAT. Result of data analysis showed that changesin the number of leucocytes significance value p=0,000 (< 0,05) and ESR significance value p=0,000 (< 0,05). This suggest that there are significant differences in the number of the leucocytes and ESR before and after administration of the antituberculosis drugs.

Abstract

Nine isolates of Bacillus thuringiensis of North Sumatra have been isolated from soil and dead larvae of Plutella xylostella. Bioassay of these isolates to larva of Heliothis armigera, Plutella xylostella, Aedes aegypti, and Culex sp. showed that the isolates have different spectrum and ability in controlling insect larvae. Interestingly, TU1 has similar ability to that of Dipel (B. thuringiensis var kurstaki strain HD-7) in controlling Dipteran (A. aegypti and Culex sp.) and Lepidopteran (H. armigera and P. xylostella). The others were not effective to Dipteran, but have various abilities to kill Lepidopteran. This result indicated that local isolates of B. thuringiensis of North Sumatra were varied in ability to kill different larvae.

Abstract

Purpose-. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of inflation and earnings per share (EPS) on the share prices of the consumer goods sector. Methods- Data are collected from the financial statements in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector, namely 18 companies registered at ISSI. With the period 2014-2018 using a purposive sampling technique. Findings- The analysis results show that inflation has not been proven to have a significant effect on stock prices, while EPS has a positive and significant effect. The implication of this finding is that the fundamental factor information of EPS ratios in financial statements can be useful information to predict sharia stock prices
